Clean, social and well located EastSeven Hostel is clean, modern and well maintained. There are many young volunteers, and the staff are friendly and easy to talk to. Breakfast is available from 6:00 to 10:00, mainly milk and cereals. The hostel has a strong social vibe, with movie nights, drinking games and quiz nights. Many guests go clubbing together. The female dorm stays quiet at night. There are unisex bathroom and female-only bathroom, both with separate shower areas. The rooms are warm, with good heating, bedside lights and a hair dryer available (in the bathroom. ) — very comfortable in Berlin winter. Public transport is close: about a 5-minute walk to the U-Bahn and 10 minutes to bus stops. The airport is around 1 hour away, and Berlin Central Station just over 20 minutes. Tip: during U2 construction near Senefelderplatz, ride one extra stop toward Pankow and change back. Overall, a solid choice if you want a clean, social hostel with easy transport access.

La chambre était correcte, mais la réceptionniste était un peu… désagréable. La première fois, elle m'a donné un lit sans rideau occultant. J'ai interrogé d'autres clients déjà présents dans la chambre, et ils m'ont confirmé qu'elle avait tenté de me donner le même lit. Bien qu'elle sache pertinemment qu'il n'y avait pas de rideau occultant, elle a fait semblant de l'ignorer. Je suis redescendu pour lui parler, et elle a immédiatement changé ma chambre, mais elle a été très impolie. Même si elle parle allemand, une femme asiatique n'est pas aussi efficace qu'un homme blanc. Elle a ignoré mes salutations. Dans l'ensemble, la chambre était bien, et le ménage a été fait rapidement. Si vous souhaitez laisser vos affaires en consigne, cela coûte apparemment 6 € pour 24 heures. La consigne se trouve au sous-sol.

10/10 the best hostel I have ever stayed at!! It was so clean, and quiet but lively. The room is very spacious and is better than many hotels. It even had a little balcony where I could have some air. The people at the front desk were the most helpful and kind.

La chambre était très propre et calme. J'ai séjourné dans une chambre pour quatre personnes avec salle de bain. Hormis la mauvaise connexion internet, tout le reste était parfait. Malheureusement, le signal aux étages inférieurs était très faible. Mon téléphone n'avait pas de connexion internet et je ne trouvais pas de Wi-Fi. J'ai donc réglé mon séjour et réservé au Hilton Hampton juste à côté. J'ai prévenu la réception, qui m'a proposé de changer de chambre. Le remboursement a échoué. J'ai trouvé le service à la réception médiocre. Il y a aussi une taverne au rez-de-chaussée.

Vous pouvez vous enregistrer après avoir vérifié votre QR code à la réception ! J'ai fait la queue pendant une longue période, puis on m'a demandé de vérifier mon QR code. Après vérification, j'ai dû refaire la queue… Comme c'était une auberge, il y avait beaucoup de jeunes. Il y avait aussi des groupes scolaires qui voyageaient ensemble. Il faut comprendre qu'une auberge est différente d'un hôtel. Il n'y avait pas de chauffage, donc il faisait très froid. ㅜㅡㅜ Et nous n'avons pas demandé de petit-déjeuner, alors nous avons utilisé la cuisine commune. Hum… Ça sentait mauvais parce que la ventilation était mauvaise. ㅜ Les ustensiles de cuisine étaient généralement sales et peu pratiques à utiliser. Le prix était tout de même de 140 000 wons par nuit, alors nous avons compris et nous y sommes allés.

This is a very big hostel with hundreds of beds, though it did not feel cramped or loud. I had a quiet stay.   I stayed for 2 nights in a mixed dorm with three bunk beds and en-suite. The toilet and shower are separate which makes use easier. Hanson’s and shower gel is included, as is a hairdryer.   The room is spacious with tables and seating areas, this is also of use to those who on the top bunk who cannot sit on their bed as easily.  There is a mirror though a lack of hooks being only a hook and couple of hangers. The bed is of a metal frame and thus I was able to apply my travel straps and hooks to create places to hand my coat and bag. There is a locker big enough to take hand luggage sized bag (own lock needed).  The bed has a usb port for charging and a slot into which a phone will fit, though no individual light. The room has two lights and it is possible to turn on only one; the other people in my room came in and out at unsociable hours though we’re all respectful being quiet and also putting in the main light.   The mattress and pillow are comfy enough, you need to collect linen and make the bed yourself.  Everything was clean.  Reception is 24 hours though checking us via one of the 4 automated screens. It is through the machines that you do check in and pay tourist tax and the machine prints paper with your allocated room and bed number. You even activate the room card yourself. There is a sign in the desk with a map of blocks with room numbers in each one. That is all the welcome that you get; there is no explanation related to hostel layout or facilities. I had to ask in which direction to go to get to my block, the receptionist gave my directions and once I got to the room and found no bedding on the bed so went back to reception. The check in computer screen states that bed linen is provided free of charge and towels can be paid for at reception. The receptionist did not give me any bedding nor point to where to where to pick it up some thus I assumed the linen would be laid on the bed as in other hostels. The next day a person arriving in the room asked where he gets bed linen, he also did not get given any bedding even when talking with the receptionist. I do find it odd that you are expected to ask for the bedding: as this is the case I recommend updating the wording on the computer screen as it is ambiguous and gives the impression you only need to ask at reception if needing a towel.  There is a guest kitchen which has basic equipment: fridge, sink, microwave, 2 hot plates, 2 frying pans, 1 saucepan, some plates, bowls and some cutlery. There was one mug in which I made a cup of tea by heating water in the microwave. I recommend a kettle to boil water. The kitchen is sufficient for simple meals, making breakfast and sandwiches. I did not try the hostel breakfast.  There is one common area near reception with a bar and possibility to purchase food. Vending machines there. WiFi reliable. The common room can feel cramped when groups are there. There is good security as all entrance doors and lifts use card access. To access the guest kitchen ask at reception and they update your card.  The location is very good being 5 min walk from Ostkreuz train station. It is a direct line to Messe Nord where the bus station and FlixBus stop is. Easy to get public transportation into the cities. There are many shops, supermarkets and eating places nearby. Vegan kebab shop directly opposite.  Good value for money. I had a comfortable stay with no difficulties and I would stay again.

Il était plutôt inquiétant de rester ici, compte tenu des mauvaises évaluations, mais l'expérience n'était pas mauvaise et ne prévaut pas pour l'argent. La chambre que j'ai séjourné était propre, mais certaines toilettes ont eu un puissant odeur de pee, mais cela était toujours bien, puisque je pouvais aller un peu plus loin pour utiliser des toilettes plus propres. Je pourrais aussi voir les nettoyeurs travailler très régulièrement chaque matin pour nettoyer le lieu, donc la propreté globale est acceptable mais très dépend de vos camarades d'auberge. La location était assez loin du centre-ville, mais il était encore v accessible aux transports publics, donc c'était bon. J'ai lu quelques commentaires sur le bruit de la nuit à l'auberge qui vient de l'extérieur. Ils exploseraient occasionnellement la musique à la nuit, mais ça ne m'ennuie pas trop comme je suis un sommeil lourd. La chambre privée est très confortable et très confortable. Cependant, j'ai trouvé de grands groupes d'hommes âgés qui se penchaient autour des corridors et fumaient près des portes tard la nuit. Ils se déplaceraient occasionnellement de la toilette et dans les couloirs partagés dans leur sous-vêtement, il était donc très inconfortable, surtout quand je devais passer par eux. Les récepteurs étaient généralement très utiles qui ont même ouvert la salle de lave-linge un peu plus tôt pour nous utiliser le matin. Le prix de la vacance est acceptable, mais je ne recommande pas de séjours longs (plus d'une semaine) et si vous êtes un voyageur de femme seule.

L'emplacement est excellent, dans l'est de Berlin ; à seulement 800 mètres de l'arrêt de tramway, vous verrez un panneau bien visible. Le personnel de la réception nous a fourni des informations complètes, ce qui a facilité notre arrivée. Le prix était très intéressant ; nous avions réservé la chambre double la plus luxueuse, avec salle de bain privée, mais partageant l'entrée avec une autre chambre, ce qui n'était pas un problème. Les lits étaient confortables, la connexion internet rapide, l'eau chaude agréable et les équipements complets. Le seul bémol : la porte des toilettes était difficile à fermer et, malgré notre demande de ménage, celui-ci n'a pas été effectué… Cependant, ces petits désagréments n'ont pas gâché notre séjour ; c'est un excellent choix pour un séjour à Berlin.
