Hôtels 2 étoiles à Kent, Royaume-Uni

I had a really enjoyable stay at the Carlton Hotel in Folkestone. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the town and the seafront, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel has a traditional feel, which gives it plenty of character, and overall I found it to be good value for money. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, and the whole stay was hassle-free. I’d happily stay at the Carlton again if I’m back in Folkestone and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a convenient location.

Great location but some maintenance and cleaning issues. Door could not be locked from the inside. Ironing board had a burn mark. Bathroom sink had no plug. Extractor fan dirty. TV remote missing battery cover.

A pleasant stay with a beautiful sea view Overall, everything was satisfactory. However, during check-in, the staff initially mistook our reservation as being for four people and without breakfast. After climbing the narrow stairs to the top floor, we realised that the room provided had beds for only four guests. The staff rechecked the booking and then gave us the correct room for five people, with breakfast included. Although the mix-up and changing rooms were inconvenient, the issue was resolved. Our room had a beautiful view of the esplanade and the sea, which we greatly appreciated. The breakfast was also enjoyable, and the rest of our stay was pleasant.

This feels like good quality accommodation, despite being an Attic room the ceiling is quite high . However the room layout is naturally restricted so one twin bed is snuggled against the wall with restricted headroom. The payoff is a good sized ensuite with natural light . The upside in the summer is the aircon, the downside in the winter is the radiator adjacent to the twin bed. This is a small twin room next to a pub with lots of history,

La chambre est propre, sauf le tapis qui est un peu froid. Très bon et rapide, mais il est seulement occupé à l'heure et au soir. Nous sommes revenus à 11 h une nuit alors que le parc était plein. Nous avons eu un peu de céphalée.

Comfy bed, lovely hot powerful shower, good friendly staff, great location and can’t complain at the price so have stayed before and will again

The room is clean; the only issue is a little bit of a weird smell. And it would be great if a shower and shampoo could be provided.

La chambre est très nouvelle, comparativement. Santé, proche du centre-ville, adapté aux loisirs touristiques

Overall satisfied, friendly hosts and clean room, thank you.

Was a short visit unfortunately. Room was comfortable.
