This attention to detail extended to my room, which was impeccably clean. The sheets were crisp, the bathroom sparkled, and there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere. It's always a relief to know you're staying in a place that prioritizes hygiene, and this hotel clearly does. Beyond just cleanliness, the overall quality of the hotel was excellent. Perfectly located hotel in the central of Solo attractions with very affordable price. Very close to Batik museum, Sriwedari Park, Radya Pustaka museum dan Tumurun museum. The hotel is very old, provide minimum amenities., but room and hotel is very clea. However there was very strong bad odour on the corridor along the way to our room. Upon notify the staff about this, they took action straight away and tried to get rid of the smell. Well done to very responsive and cooperative team. I also like the breakfast spread provided. Lots of local food like soto ayam, bubur ayam, kari ayam dsn bubur ketan hitam. What a delight to start the day with delicious breakfast. Definitely will stay here again if I visit Solo.

Nice Stay with Great Location and Local Vibes I stayed at Surya Boutique Hotel Semarang and overall had a pretty good experience. The location is great — super close to both Poncol and Tawang train stations, so it's really convenient if you're catching a train. There's also an Indomaret and Alfamart nearby, plus tons of street food at night. The nasi goreng and bakmi Jawa around the area were seriously good! Not far from the hotel, there's an old mosque built in 1802 is really beautiful and full of history. It’s a reminder that Semarang used to be an important port city, visited by Arab and Chinese traders. Worth a quick visit if you're into cultural spots. The only downside was the receptionist during check-in , she didn’t smile and wasn’t very welcoming, which was a bit disappointing. But later in the day and the next morning, a different receptionist was on duty and she was really lovely and friendly, which made up for it. Breakfast was okay for a 2-star hotel , simple but enough. Just a heads-up: there’s no hot water kettle in the room, so if you need hot water, you might need to ask the front desk. All in all, it’s a good place if you’re looking for a convenient and affordable stay in Semarang with some nice local flavor. Hope they keep improving!

L'hôtel était à une bonne position et le personnel était ami et poli, mais malheureusement la ou les chambres qui ont été montrées n'étaient pas très belles. La première chambre que nous avons vu avait des peintures sur les lits et était pleine de poussière, puis nous sommes allés à une autre chambre qui avait des lits plus beaux (non peinés), mais les coussins étaient jaunes et odeuraient un peu drôle. L'hôtel a également eu un problème avec les ancêtres dans la chambre et une grande quantité de moustiques qui se sont rassemblées autour des distributeurs d'eau dans les couloirs et ont fait la foudre dans la chambre quand vous avez ouvert la porte. La salle de bains était ensuite ouverte, et le terrain était en plein air, et il y avait beaucoup de poussière, de cobs dans la salle de bains et de poussière générale autour des coins de la salle. Il y avait aussi de la musique centralisée dans le corridor qui a commencé à 6h et les portes ont fait un son sans cesse de bruit quand il a été ouvert, qui semble souvent comme nous l'avons entendu beaucoup, ce qui signifie que nous nous sommes réveillés tôt. Le séjour était passable à l'hôtel et le prix était bon mais malheureusement, nous n'avons jamais été confortables dans la chambre, étant donné qu'il aurait pu être nettoyé de manière approfondie.

Booked this IXO Hotel as I like new hotels. A short easy walk from Semarang Poncol Train Station. I like their colorful decorations a lot. Good hot water to shower. The small face basin is not a concern, but they have a small shelf above it, under the mirror, to place the 2 toothpaste sets, and it is hard to brush my teeth. Hard to aim my mouth above the shelf and not to splash water onto the shelf. Great staff. Modern decoration. They have snacks and instant foods to sell at Lobby. Guests can get boiling water and cold water from the machine there. Very clean floor in room 105 but the shower room needs a brush with cleaning liquid. Old towels. Good bed linen. My room is a few steps from Reception so I didn’t use the elevator. Room has 2 bottles of water, 2 toothbrush sets and wall mounted shower gel bottle. Can borrow cups from Reception to make our own tea. They don’t give tea nor coffee in room. Only 2 outlets to charge the phones: bed head shelf and under the clothes hanging hook. They manage to have a tv and mirror in room in a very well appointed place. Good design to make use of every corner in a tiny room. Windows can be opened.

A morning stroll, a bit of activity before the day truly begins. Functional. And the accessibility to Adisucipto Airport, a mere twenty minutes away, speaks to a certain convenience for travelers. Logistically sound, I'll concede. However, where is the character? The distinctiveness? It offers shelter, a place to rest. But does it leave an impression? Does it offer an experience beyond the purely functional? It appears to be a solution, a practical base. It ticks the boxes of affordability and location. But does it ignite any sense of… memorable hospitality? It seems to be… adequate. Nothing extravagant, nothing particularly inspiring. It serves its purpose.

The hotel is not too far from Semarang’s Landmark such as: Kota Lama Semarang & Simpang Lima. There are minimarkets near Votel Krakatau, the ambiance in this hotel is good.

Le personnel de l'hôtel était très utile, amiable et soignant. Nous voyagerions en Indonésie avec mes grands-parents, mais mon grand-père n'était pas sûrement touché par une moto. Son état était très grave. Le personnel de l'hôtel s'est rendu spontanément à l'hôpital pour nous aider et nous a fourni beaucoup d'informations utiles. Nous sommes très reconnaissants de les avoir avec nous pendant ces périodes difficiles, car nous ne parlons pas indonésien et nous étions évidemment sous grand stress. Ils ont même essayé de trouver quelqu'un qui peut parler chinois pour voir si ils peuvent nous offrir de l'aide. Leur hôtel est un hôtel de plus de 5 étoiles, mais il est très chaud et très hospitalier.
