Hotel is nearby birla school, mint o park. Park street and Arselan biryani ( park circus) is walkable distance. Theater road join birla platarium. Rate is quite high on the basis of service. Breakfast is not good. Charging for drinking water. Restaurant was full of hukka lover in the evening. Smoke is everywhere in restaurant.

Room no 113 excellent large room clean bathroom. food quality is good with a price range nominal. stap quality good

A great experience with this hotel sonar bangla guest house, its location just behind the new market. Hotel manager and staff's behaviour are very well. Hotel maintenance and cleaning is very very good

This was not my first stay at this hostel. Have stayed several times before. And am sad to see a gradual degradation in bathroom maintainance and lack of decency & discipline by the young guests from Tier3/4 towns of neighbouring states/districts, its hosting these days. Else the owner is very progessive minded and open to suggestions on improvements. All staff members are cordial and friendly. Location is prime with great connectivity with metro (MG Rd stn) & main railway hub (Sealdah) within walkable distance. Famous academic institutions, eateries, lagacy restaurants all around. Rooms are clean. ACs work perfectly. Bathroom cleanliness cud ne better. Breakfast cud be made optional at extra cost and taken on to the terrace as Terrace Cafe. Cooking foods by the guests shud be stopped completely. Guests entering other rooms freely at their will, shud be stopped. ALCHOHOL & SMOKING WEEDS MUST BE STOPPED (not by signing an undertakung from guests but by supervising strictly, specially at night). ELSE YOU WUD LOOSE DISCERNING FOREIGN SOLO TRAVELLERS PLUS A POLICE RAID WUD DAMAGE YOUR REPUTATION. A curtain around the beds cud be an added privacy feature.

We had a delightful family stay at Pahari Soul Homestay. The breathtaking hill views, including a stunning glimpse of Kanchenjunga from the balcony, made our experience truly memorable. The food was fantastic, with the aloo paratha at breakfast being a highlight—not to be missed! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. Thoughtful amenities like a bed warmer and an electric kettle with tea, coffee, and sugar sachets added to the convenience. On the bright side, Dali Monastery is just a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. That said, the property is located ***** the main road, so there can be some noise. Additionally, there is no lift, so guests need to climb steep stairs. Despite these minor drawbacks, we would happily return for another visit!

Overall, everything was okay, and as per expectations. I stayed for just a single night, and checked in quite late, the staff was quite helpful in accommodating the last minute request. I even checked out quite early, 5am next morning. Services/facilities were okay I would say given the price paid, as the aircon was not working, I found a roach in the bathroom and a few insects on the bed, and the room was a bit smelly (with windows closed), so those attributes could be improved. Else all good.

Bon pour une personne d'affaires. L'hôtel est à la première position de Kolkata et facilement accessible. Le personnel est très coopératif. Je vous recommanderai cela à tout le monde.

Good location. Sim card, money changer everything is nearby walking distance. Very friendly people. The room could be better, easy to carry.

The room was smaller than expected. Not cleaned. Spot on bedsheet. No towel, handwash. Mirror is also expired it's useful life. Geyser is not working. In the wardrobe, lots of untidy pillows are dumped.
