C'est la première fois depuis des années que je laisse un avis négatif sur Ctrip, et je déconseille fortement à tous mes amis de **choisir cet hôtel**, même pour quelques centaines de yuans la nuit. Équipements : J'avais réservé une chambre avec vue sur la rivière, mais j'ai eu une chambre avec vue sur la piscine et sur un chantier ; rien à voir avec la description. Cet hôtel, qui a 20 ans, est complètement démodé. La salle de bain était incroyablement vétuste et sale… Propreté : La poussière était partout, de la table de chevet au bureau. Cette chambre était-elle restée inoccupée longtemps ? Les toilettes étaient même couvertes de taches jaunes accumulées au fil des ans… Je me demande depuis combien de temps elles n'avaient pas été nettoyées correctement. Service : J'avais réservé deux chambres, mais la seconde était complète. Malgré notre arrivée dans l'après-midi, ils ont refusé de nous réserver une chambre. C'était aussi l'anniversaire de mon mari ce jour-là, et après plus d'une heure de discussion, ils ont finalement accepté de nous loger dans un hôtel voisin, en se plaignant sans cesse du prix exorbitant de cet hôtel. Finalement, ils voulaient nous loger dans un hôtel situé à 8 kilomètres, dans un parc national isolé. Nous voyagions avec une personne âgée de plus de 70 ans ; c'était épuisant. Comment peuvent-ils gérer une situation pareille ? Je ne sais pas si la plateforme a offensé l'hôtel, mais les clients sont relégués au second plan, ce qui complique tout, et ils n'offrent de compensation qu'en cas de litige [je suis venu en vacances, pas pour me disputer]. C'est exténuant.

We stayed for four nights over the Easter holiday in a panorama sea view room in the new tower. First of all, the location is excellent. The pool area has a sandy beach, and compared to the Hilton next door, the water was much clearer and very pleasant. The view is absolutely beautiful. However, when the tide goes out, it turns into what feels like a “panoramic mudflat view,” so I would recommend carefully considering the timing of your stay. On the other hand, there were several issues with the room. There is no balcony, and the windows cannot be opened. There were mosquitoes in the room, and I was bitten multiple times, which caused itching and swelling. The insect repellent device in the hallway was empty, which made me question the quality of housekeeping management. When I spoke to a female staff member at reception, I was told that only body spray repellent was available, and no further assistance was offered, so I had to purchase and install my own insect repellent. In addition, there was a sewage-like smell coming from the bathroom. The mirror and sink were not properly cleaned and appeared dirty. The room and hallway also had a moldy smell, and due to the humidity, the bed linens felt damp. The duvet was thin and not very comfortable. As I am sensitive to smells, these issues made me feel nauseous and unwell. Later, my husband spoke to a male staff member at reception. Although the hotel was fully booked and we were unable to change rooms, he responded with sincerity, apologized thoroughly, and instructed housekeeping to carry out a deep cleaning. When we returned from going out, the bathroom had been properly cleaned and the sewage smell was gone. The moldy smell in the room did not completely disappear, but it had been masked with deodorizer, and we were able to sleep well that night. However, the same issues returned the following day. As it was the Easter holiday and other hotels were fully booked, we had no choice but to stay until the end of our reservation. Afterward, I checked reviews and found many similar complaints about the moldy smell, which made me regret not researching more thoroughly beforehand. I had assumed that as a five-star hotel, it would be fine. Overall, the reception staff were kind, friendly, and professional. In particular, the male staff member who assisted us was excellent. On the other hand, I felt that the quality of housekeeping needs improvement. In my opinion, these issues are largely due to a design flaw—specifically, the building was designed with aesthetics prioritized over functionality by the construction company and architect, resulting in rooms where windows cannot be opened despite the humid tropical climate. The older tower, which has balconies and windows that can be opened, may not have the same problems. I would not recommend this hotel to those who are sensitive to smells, but for those who are not, it can still be a wonderful place to stay given its location and facilities.

Réservez absolument cette chambre avec baies vitrées ; elle est idéale pour prendre des photos. Se détendre dans le salon en admirant la mer et le coucher de soleil est un véritable moment de bien-être. Équipements : Difficile de les décrire en détail ; il y a deux chambres et deux salles de bains. J’ai trouvé dommage que l’une des chambres avec vue sur mer ait deux grands miroirs sur l’armoire. Service : La réceptionniste était très aimable et parlait chinois. Environnement : Très bien situé ; la plage est juste en bas, très reposante, et de nombreux restaurants sont accessibles à pied.

Le concierge était extrêmement pauvre, il a pris ma voiture avec 7 sièges, et le personnel a simplement ignoré ma présence - ne se moquait même pas de nous saluer, ni d'offrir une aide avec le bagage, Même après avoir dit que j'aurais besoin d'aide - conscience zéro et service zéro. Le trolley de bagages est simplement un ornement. Désolé, c'est Marriott! Dans ma vie, je n'ai jamais eu d'expérience si inconvenante. Le récepteur (portant le spéc) était le seul à avoir accueilli chaleureusement ma famille, ainsi que le personnel du buffet. 👍

We booked The Langham on the Gold Coast for our honeymoon. It is a nice hotel but I can honestly say it is not worth the over $550 per night we paid. I’ve listed positives and negatives below: Positives: - there was a nice note and small chocolate slice in the room wishing us a lovely honeymoon - Staff are very friendly/welcoming - Ocean view was amazing from the hotel room - facilities - gymnasium was fully equipped with a view of the ocean/beach - Bathtub was lovely - Easy access to the beach Negatives: - There were stains on the sheets. When we arrived I noticed two stains in separate places on the sheets (note: they were dry stains). I went down to reception and they said they’d send housekeeping up to change the sheets. As advised, a woman arrived to change the sheets. Unfortunately, I didn’t check the new sheets and there were stains on those as well. I went back down to reception and they said they’d send a supervisor up again to look at the sheets. Two staff came to the room, apologised and changed the sheets again (this time I checked). The hotel gave us a bottle of wine, some lip balm and pillow spray which was a nice gesture as an apology, however, multiple stained sheets for what is meant to be a 5 star hotel is very disappointing. - The pre-authorisation amount (hold) when checking in is $200 a day, so $1,000 for a 5 night stay. This is ridiculously high. I don’t know why they hold that much considering most hotels, even 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in, hold $100-200 for a stay. On a positive note it did come back into my account straight away at check-out

Un hôtel très récent, joliment décoré et nettoyé tous les jours. Mon mari et moi avons été les plus satisfaits de l'hôtel pendant tout notre voyage en Australie. Tournez à gauche en sortant et marchez 1 minute jusqu'au marché nocturne. Il y a de nombreux endroits pour manger aux alentours. Après quelques minutes de marche et en traversant la route, vous trouverez le supermarché Woolworths. Tournez à droite après l'hôtel et vous verrez la grande roue, la plage et la piscine. Il y a un barbecue sur la plage. C'est bien d'aller au supermarché pour acheter de la viande pour le barbecue. je ne l'ai découvert que le dernier jour. Il faut 15 minutes pour prendre un taxi depuis l'aéroport, environ 24 à 27 couteaux. Pour vous rendre à l'aéroport, vous pouvez appeler un taxi à la réception de l'hôtel. Le petit-déjeuner de l'hôtel est acceptable. Vous pouvez vous rendre directement à la réception et réserver une réservation pour 20 dollars par personne. Bien que le petit-déjeuner buffet ne soit pas très varié, il est copieux et le prix est à peu près le même que celui d'un repas seul.

La chambre était assez grande et très propre. Le petit déjeuner était correct mais en tant que voyageur régulier ayant mangé de nombreux petits déjeuners à l'hôtel, rien de génial. L'hôtel manquait de service à mon avis. Il n'y avait pas de portier qui pouvait nous aider avec nos bagages car nous devions les monter quelques marches pour atteindre le hall. Il n'y avait pas de salutations amicales comme je m'y attendais en Australie. Ce qui est étrange, c'est qu'ils ne fournissent même pas d'eau en bouteille dans la chambre. Dans l'ensemble, ce n'était pas un séjour très agréable. Le seul point positif était la chambre et le lit très confortable.

Let me start by saying — this place looks like a five-star resort, and honestly, it’s almost pulling it off. From the front desk to the landscaping, the vibes are immaculate. Reception staff? Absolute pros. Warm, efficient, and welcoming. The hotel itself? Gorgeous. The grounds? Pristine. It cannot go unsaid that the place is surely lovely! But then… housekeeping entered the chat. I don’t know if they were short-staffed or just spiritually opposed to consistency, but cleaning was less “meticulous upkeep” and more “vague suggestion.” Every day was a fresh new episode of What Will They Forget This Time? Towels? Maybe. Trash bins? Who knows. Soap? That’s a Tuesday-only luxury, apparently. One day the bed was made, but the sinks and mirrors clearly hadn’t been touched. Another day, they left their cleaning supplies in the bathroom—so at least some effort was made, I guess? The shower floor remained perpetually sandy, a charming little ecosystem of ants set up camp in our kitchenette, and the grand finale: we returned from a day exploring the stunning Daintree to find our room door left wide open. Thanks, housekeeping. Truly unforgettable. By day five I wasn’t even mad, I was invested. Was this performance art? Were we part of a social experiment? Is this how minimalism starts? So yeah, stunning hotel, flawless front desk, but housekeeping? Shithouse! Blinds are filthy in the rooms and no sheer curtains for day time privacy. Would I return? Maybe. But I’m bringing my own towels. And a mop.
