Hôtels 2 étoiles à Utah, États-Unis

This was our first stay here and will keep it in mind as a more affordable option in the SLC Downtown space. In general, this is an older property that has the basics of a good place to stay. The rooms were clean and had a the larger ”dorm fridge” and a microwave. The beds/bedding were VERY comfortable. Parking is free and they do allow pets for a $25 fee. (NOTE: The Trip.com site says that pets are not allowed.) The location is very good, with walking-distance access to alot of restaurants, bars, entertainment, shopping, etc. We took a $7+ Uber to/from The State Room, which is only 1/2 mile away because I just had my hip replaced. Would normally have walked. What they could do better: While they have some beautiful plants on the property, they could spruce it up a bit with some paint and deep cleaning of the concrete walkways. The lobby/front desk reminds me of a motel in a seedy location. The front desk person is behind an enclosed Plexi-Glass structure and the lobby is not somewhere to gather, as it is not kept very clean. They do not serve food at all, due to COVID-era decisions (see picture), and the presence of junk food vending machines shows that they are not concerned with that decision and will continue that non-service going forward. (TIP: Go next door to The Red Beryl restaurant in the Doubletree. Excellent food, service, and prices!) Maybe if the front desk person offered a list of nearby eating establishments to guests when they check-in, this would be a non-issue. The only room challenge was that the blackout shade roller was non-operational, requiring a more manual approach with it to cover the window. As with a lot of hotels, they charge a $100 deposit that is given back when you check out. If you use a card, that's 3-5 business days. If you use cash, it's returned immediately after they perform a cursory room look-see. The staff that served us was not pleasant or unpleasant; pretty much a business attitude.

Nous avons conduisi de la mer Tahoe à Salt Lake, donc c'était un long jour... merci le bureau frontal était très agréable et dit qu'ils garderaient notre réservation jusqu'à 4h00, nous sommes arrivés un peu après 1h00. La chambre était adéquate, mais elle sentait un peu bizarre (tha A/C?). Et nous allions nous pendre à la piscine et au tube chaud jusqu'au checkout mais la piscine était fermée pour nettoyage ou quelque chose... tout à fait un peu décevant, mais difficile à discuter avec le prix de 109 $ pour une famille de 4...

Overall, the hotel makes a very nice and clean impression. However, there are clear weaknesses in the commercial processing. I booked and paid for the room via your platform. After completing the booking, I received an email asking me to check in online. As part of the check-in process, I provided my credit card details. Immediately after the online check-in, my credit card was charged with an amount of approx. 180.00 €. This procedure initially seemed unusual to me, as the room had already been paid for and the hotel already knew my card details. After checking in at the hotel, a further booking of €162.27 was charged to my card. I informed the hotel reception about this and they assured me that these two reserved amounts would be released after check-out. The first reserved amount was released a few days after check-out, but the second was not. On August 26, 2024, my card was debited with €80.93 and on the same day €80.43 was credited again. The result is that my card is still charged today, eleven days after check out, with a reservation of approximately $180.00. I am surprised about such a behavior and have asked the hotel to explain the reasons for the charges on my card. I have already complained to Wyndham and asked the hotel to ensure that the amount -still reserved on my card- is now quickly released.

Parking gratuit plus petit-déjeuner gratuit, McDonald's et DQ à la porte, à côté de la station-service, chambre avec réfrigérateur et micro-ondes. Le lit est assez grand pour bien dormir. Les environs sont calmes.

Je suis revenu à Vegas de Sion. J'aime beaucoup cet endroit. Les habitants de l'Utah sont très enthousiastes. Il y a un stand de tir à proximité, ce qui est très recommandé. Il s'appelle Rowdys. Si vous voulez venir aux États-Unis pour tirer avec une arme à feu, vous pouvez certainement l'organiser. Il y a plus de choix que la Californie, et moins cher que Vegas. Il y a peu de monde. Après tout, ce n'est pas un endroit avec beaucoup de touristes. Il y a un lave-auto en libre-service en bas et un restaurant japonais teppanyaki est très délicieux.

L'hôtel est bien équipé, et le personnel est très bon ! Le petit déjeuner de l'hôtel était super, et ils ont donné des sacs de snack et des fruits aux invités pour leurs voyages routiers !

L'hôtel n'était pas un bon endroit, car le sol était complètement sale et des sticks de sales sur les pieds. Trip.com service n'est pas automatiquement traité avec le système de l'hôtel.

Was a wonderful place, clean and the staff was very friendly and nice. Are two kids had a blast in the in door pool. Thank you was great

Everything was ok, but felt dated, a bit cheap, and time for a renovation. It felt safe and was fine, but I would likely stay at a higher end hotel next time if, as like the time of booking, the price differential was minimal.
