1. Sélectionné parmi les 100 meilleurs hôtels thermaux du Japon 2. Je suis allé au Japon plus de dix fois et j'ai séjourné dans des hôtels avec des prix allant de 1K à 3K. Cet hôtel est de loin le plus satisfaisant. Le personnel du service de l'hôtel sourit toujours et s'incline chaleureusement lorsqu'il marche devant vous. Service professionnel et chaleureux, super. 3. Je recommande vivement la chambre de plus de 50 mètres carrés pour un lit et deux repas. La chambre était propre, la vue était superbe et le dîner était très attentionné. J'ai baigné quatre fois dans des sources chaudes, presque toutes réservées. Beau paysage 4. J'aime le château de Matsumoto. Les vendeurs des magasins de la ville sont très enthousiastes. Il y avait très peu de monde. Il y avait encore beaucoup de monde à Osaka, Tokyo et Kyoto lorsque j'y suis allé auparavant, j'avais l'impression que notre famille et quelques étrangers étaient les seuls dans la rue. Très proche de la gare d'Ogisawa, terminus de la ligne Kamikorobe Tateyama. Bien que le quartier paraisse désert, on trouve plusieurs supérettes et de grands supermarchés à moins de 15 minutes en train, ainsi que de nombreux restaurants familiaux. Le personnel de la réception, bien que ne parlant pas couramment anglais, s'est montré très attentif pour expliquer les modalités d'arrivée et nous aider en cas de problème. L'hôtel était spacieux, insonorisé et propre, et les équipements étaient excellents.

The hotel is nice, from the station about 10 minutes walk almost in a straight line, wake up. You will receive a warm welcome from polite and gentle-mannered staff, get taken up to your beautiful room, and once you’ve changed into your traditional yukata, it’s time to let the relaxation begin. The multi-course dinner will probably be one of the best meals you’ve had in your life, with many unusual textures and flavors to try. The futons are comfortable, and your room is kept toasty warm. There are even skincare products to keep you pampered and moisturized between soaks in the onsen. Honestly, you won’t even need to open your suitcase while you’re there. The staff will take you through all the logistics when you arrive, but there are some things that might be useful to know in advance. - The ryokan sends a shuttle to Yudanaka station at about 15:00 to collect new arrivals, so time your journey to take advantage of this benefit. - The ryokan also offers guests the opportunity to catch a shuttle to the Snow Monkey Park immediately after breakfast the next morning. - After you leave the ryokan, they will take your luggage down to the coffee shop opposite the station, so you don’t need to worry about those logistics. - Trains from Yudanaka back to Nagano leave at 12:30 and 15:30. - The ryokan itself has several private onsens that you can reserve for a 45-minute slot. Because the onsens are on the property, you can go in with your partner or travel companions regardless of gender. It’s a boutique hotel, so you don’t have to worry about not getting access to all the onsens you want. - The ryokan is on the main road of the Shibu Onsen town. The hotel will give you a key so you can wonder down the main road, visiting any of the public onsens you wish - however, with so many gorgeous and more private onsens in the hotel itself, you probably won’t have time or the desire for this. - Also, there is a coffee machine in the room! (I was worried about having to survive without coffee, and this turned out to be an unfounded concern). We had an incredible and totally indulgent time at Kokuya. Experiencing a traditional ryokan is a privilege that you should try at least once if you can. And adding the Snow Monkeys in give the trip a double purpose, making it that much more memorable. The only thing that would have made the trip better is if we had been allowed to linger longer over every course of our dinner.

L'emplacement et le personnel sympathique sont excellents. La propreté est également appréciable. Cependant, la chambre était trop petite et la climatisation aurait besoin d'être améliorée, d'autant plus qu'elle soufflait directement sur le lit. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, mais le menu n'a pas changé du tout pendant mon séjour de trois nuits et quatre jours ; je n'en ai donc presque pas mangé après le troisième jour.

Cozy environment, our room with river view balcony. Nice and relax! Very yummy dinner with house wine pairing. Just 5-9 min drive to outlet. It’s my second time to stay with Hotel Indigo! Seems like my second home in Karuizawa!

La chambre était un peu vieillotte mais impeccable. Dommage qu'il n'y ait eu que des chambres fumeurs pendant mon séjour, car l'odeur de cigarette était présente, mais le personnel a eu la gentillesse de me fournir un désodorisant. I stayed at this hotel with my wife and two children during a two-night trip to Karuizawa in early February. The hotel is around 100 years old and its claim to fame is that John Lennon has stayed there. The piano that he played on is still in the bar. Location: The hotel is near Old Ginza Street and around a 15-minutes drive from Karuizawa station. It was not difficult to find, but you must navigate a narrow approach to the hotel which is icy at this time of the year, so you must drive carefully. Cleaniness: The staff told me that the hotel was only recently and everything was very clean and in good condition. Service: The receptionist that conducted the check-in was probably the Japanese that spoke the best English that I had encountered on this trip. He spent a lot of time explaining the hotel to our family. The porter was also very helpful and polite. When we asked for extra toothbrushes and slippers for the children, housekeeping was very prompt in delivering them and even brought some children's robes for my sons. Facilities: The hotel did not have many facilities. There is a small shop, a bar and a french restaurant but not much else. Some rooms had private hot springs in them and they gave us the opportunity to upgrade. Our room, had a small balcony even though we were on the ground floor. It looked onto a wooded area so there was not much to see, especially at night. However, when it snowed the next morning, my kids loved going out and playing in the snow. I was particularly impressed by the breakfast. It was a simple American breakfast very well presented. It was very pleasurable to look out into the inner courtyard with it was snowing. Overall: I like this hotel as it has a lot of character. It is architecturally attractive and has kept a lot of its charm despite renovation. The staff are very professional and polite. I would stay in this hotel again.

I had a large tatami room with side sitting area and sink as well as an ante-room. I had three delicious Japanese meals at the ryokan that were served with polite elegance. The two in-house onsen baths were a joy to use after a day of skiing. The staff was knowledgeable about how to get around by the buses and suggested the best restaurants for days that I did not eat at the ryokan. Senshinkan Matsuya was situated in the center of.Shibu Onsen town next to three of the public onsen. I could not ask for a better stay!

Chambre : Propre et confortable. Cependant, le produit pour le bain a une odeur similaire à celle du détergent pour toilettes. Commodités : Un Family Mart est ouvert jusqu'à 23h00 dans l'hôtel ouest. Service : La réceptionniste ne parle pas bien anglais et la communication est difficile. Le personnel du vestiaire est peu aimable. Service de navette : Un service de navette est assuré dans la zone commerciale, entre les hôtels est et ouest. Cependant, les instructions étaient peu claires. Lorsque nous faisions la queue pour la navette vers la gare, le personnel de l'hôtel ne nous a pas informés de son arrivée ni de la manière de nous positionner, mais a simplement modifié l'horaire du prochain bus. Résultat : toute la file d'attente a raté la navette. Nous avons dû marcher jusqu'à la gare avec nos bagages volumineux. Parc à neige : Aucune indication claire ni signalisation pour se rendre au parc à neige depuis l'hôtel est. Le parc à neige est assez petit et convient aux jeunes enfants (moins de 7 ans). C'est ennuyeux pour un enfant de plus de 7 ans.
