View of the Taal Volcano & the lake is breathtaking. Front desk staff is kind of robotic! 😬 Breakfast service is alright. Bell hops helpful and friendly. Magnificent fireworks on the stroke of midnight on NYD 2025! Overall quite satisfactory experience!

My friend says that the pool and beach were fantastic, and the room was comfortable and relaxing. One of the highlights was the peaceful atmosphere - the hotel provided a good buffer from external noise, making it an ideal spot to unwind. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a serene and enjoyable getaway.

The facilities were okay but not exactly what I would expect from a four star accommodation. The finishings look old but are still serviceable. The breakfast buffet was good. The Bangus ala Pobre was well seasoned and filling. There were also two real fruit juice options which was nice.

The facilities and amenities at the hotel were great. The hotel itself was clean and looked brand new, which was definitely a plus. The staff who assisted us to our room and the team at Kuna Cafe, where we had breakfast, were both friendly and helpful, making those experiences enjoyable. However, the reception staff left much to be desired. Despite being the only guests in the lobby during our check in time, we were left waiting for an extended period, and the hospitality skills seemed lacking. Our frustration grew later in the evening when we called reception to inquire about reheating some food. We wanted to know if there was a microwave available and whether we could use it, but no one followed up with an answer. This delay left us having to go out at 10pm to buy food for our hungry child, which was very disappointing. It’s clear that the reception could greatly improve their customer service and communication skills. Overall, while the hotel itself was pleasant, the reception and customer service experience needs significant improvement to match the quality of the facilities. Le meilleur hôtel de Matabungkay, mains en bas! Nous avons reçu une mise à niveau gratuite de l'hôtel avec une vue fantastique. L'emplacement, qui est à droite sur la plage, est fantastique. Le personnel est excellent et le appartement est bien entretenu, très bien entretenu. Pendant nos trois jours et deux nuits, nous avons remarqué que l'environnement était clair de feuilles et de poussière, que la piscine était maintenue propre et que l'eau était modifiée quotidiennement. La chambre est grande et attrayante, avec un thème moderne, mélangé avec des éléments de maison traditionnelle. Les employés offrent le meilleur service et sont courtois et professionnels! Durant nos vacances, nous nous sommes vraiment amusés et sans soucis. Par ailleurs, leur petit déjeuner est le plus beau!

Service and quality of experience was outstanding for a boutique resort in the Philippines. Food was very good, but I felt the menu could use a few more options. For example, it's fine to offer an extravagant ultra-indulgent double sized burger (which tasted good by the way), but sometimes guests with smaller appetites might like a burger, too.
