We stayed for one night before starting our North Island trip. I liked that we could park right in front of the room, which was convenient. However, the overall facilities were just average. The bathroom fan was quite noisy, and the sound continued for a while even after the light was turned off.

I didn't know what to expect when I booked this establishment. It looked OK though I thought I might find it a bit further from the main Paihia town than I liked, but it turned out that I really enjoyed the walk to and from the town. We've booked ourselves in the cruise to Hole in the Rock the next day and talking to the helpful staff, we booked the spa followed by dinner at The Glass House on that day and we really enjoyed our day. The massage and facial was really relaxing, and the dinner was superb. On top of that, I love the room we had which was just by the pool. We are able to enjoy the hot tub which was really relaxing too. Everything was just fantastic. Overall the hotel was just a joy to stay in and I was glad I booked 3 nights.

We spent 2 nights recently and found everything to be excellent. The room and location was beyond our expectations. We had room service and breakfast in the restaurant. The food was excellent. A truly enjoyable experience.

A good place to break one's journey from Paihia via opinoni and waipoura forests back to Auckland. Dargaville is a small town with several Asian restaurants (recommend Suphan Thai in town) and a Woolworth's. This motel is located in the suburbs - a quiet and peaceful area away from traffic. Was surprised that the unit came with a kitchen (stove, fridge microwave oven) even though the room description only mentioned a LCD TV. WiFi was functional but slower than other places. Bedding was good. We couldn't find a hairdryer in the room.

Le site de la ville est très bien situé, mais il est très bien situé. Le propriétaire de cet endroit était très aimable. était un séjour agréable ici. Il y a la paix et tout ici la nuit, peut-être partie de la spécialité Keri Keri. J'ai accueilli mon séjour ici avec la piscine et le service de lave-vaisselle fourni (coûtable) mais convenable à toujours avoir. La chambre était impressionnante et spacieuse avec de bons équipements et des objets nécessaires. Le lit était vraiment confortable aussi bien .... sera certainement de retour !!!

Situated only a few minutes walk to the centre made this a very good choice to stay in. The room was of a good size and had a small kitchen area with all the essentials needed.

Excellent Stay at Bay of Islands Lodge! We had a fantastic two-night stay at the Bay of Islands Lodge in Paihia. The location is perfect, close to the waterfront and attractions. The service was outstanding, with the owner providing excellent tips on restaurants, food shops, and places to visit. The lodge was spotlessly clean, and the amenities were great, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paihia!

A return trip to the Copthorne - I do like this place. The bathroom again needs an upgrade and the fridge is too small. All else was good which is why I keep returning. Have never eaten in the Hotel so cannot comment. Bar staff are scarce and usually distracted. But I keep coming back……..a beautiful location, close enough to the township but far enough away. I will be back - in fact have already booked for late April 😎👍🏻 Enjoy….

Le paysage est bon, il y a plus d'insectes dans la chambre. Les installations sont également presque proches des limites de renouvellement. Mais il est très bon d'avoir des installations de ce type dans le grand paysage. Le service de la dame et de la sœur de la réception est également très bon. En outre, si vous voulez utiliser une piscine chaude à l'extérieur, il est préférable de ne pas vivre seule. La zone de la piscine est trop loin pour se déplacer dehors.

We booked a 1 bedroom apartment. It was clean and the service of the staff is good. The locatipn of the property was quite near the city centre, a short drive to the supermarkets. The cooking utensils were rather basic, with some missing items. We asked the lady and she replaced them for us. There was only one AC in the apartment, so we need to keep the bedroom door open at night.
