« L'état général est bon ; tout a répondu à mes attentes pour une chambre d'hôtel standard. Il y a cependant une chose qui ne me satisfait pas : j'ai réservé une chambre pour trois adultes, mais les équipements fournis ne sont que pour deux personnes (deux paires de chaussons, deux brosses à dents, deux serviettes, etc.). Il n'y a pas de numéro de téléphone pour appeler la réception, je suis donc descendu personnellement pour les informer de la situation. Le personnel a promis d'envoyer les objets manquants dans notre chambre plus tard, mais personne n'est venu du tout. »

« We headed to R&F link bridge from CIQ-City Square mall right after we were informed check-in is available around 2pm+.  We were quite disappointed with the long walk with breakage of the link bridge due to RTS construction works ongoing. The long climbs of stairs down then up to the continuation link bridge is rather a hassle especially for guest who carries luggage as we have seen along the way. Luckily we only carried light backpack as we only stay for one night. The procedure of checking in to R&F Princess Cove is rather simple by following a step-by-step instruction via WhatsApp. The unit assigned to us is at B1-1 Block on the 33rd floor. It was right after the rain stopped when we reached. There is a broken-handle window along the corridor hence not properly closed.  The heavy rain has actually poured onto the corridor flooring and we almost slipped as we didn’t see the patch of water. The unit assigned to us was according to our request (away from lift, non-smoking & high floor).  The unit we should say, is well maintained, clean and really nice!!! The only flaw is that the seaview is not as expected (only a slant opening seaview perhaps). The only bedroom ceiling light cum fan is great. However, the bedroom entrance downlight electrical point is tied to the ceiling light cum fan which the entrance downlight can’t be switched off when the fan is in operation during sleep….anyway, we turned on the aircon thereafter in order not to be affected by the glaring bedroom entrance downlight. Even there are 2 pillows each, they are rather too soft and we couldn’t sleep well.  Apart from the above, we enjoyed very much at the Living and Kitchen areas where we watched TV drama & having our meals. The next morning while heading out to walk around the premises, a pale stale stink smell from the rubbish chute on our level can be smelt while waiting for the lift to go down…… The exterior environment of R&F Princess Cove (phase 2) is comfortable especially on the 8th floor where gardens, swimming pool, gym, viewing deck, jogging track and link bridge to R&F mall are resided. One thing to praise is that R&F Princess Cove has friendly, nice security guards and staffs who have communicated via WhatsApp, thumbsup!  Overall we think it is good to stay provided the CIQ to R&F Princess Cove link bridge is complete. »

« The  hotel has the best location, it is on top of a mega mall with a supermarket, everything opens from 10am to 10pm. The variety of food made us keep going back. The hotel includes breakfast buffet which it is very decent and has good selection for locals and visitors, and the menu is slightly different everyday for a good surprise. The staff is very friendly, and they greet us every time.  We certainly will stay there again. »

« This hotel is located in the strategic area of JB city centre, so it’s pretty convenient for the business travellers, especially the transportation. Besides that, the hotel’s surroundings are full of food restaurants and shopping malls which are reachable by walking. Definitely, next time it will be the priority as well, when visiting JB. »

« Walking distance to KSL Mall, with many food options nearby. Breakfast choices are simple but sufficient. »

« Service: From the time we checked in to when we checked out, the service we received from different staff members was professional, polite and personable. Our room (942) was spacious, adequately clean, had comfortable beds, a big bathroom and a partial view of the sea, amongst others. It was lovely to have been able to sit by the window with a drink and take in the view while being grateful for the lovely room assigned to us. :) Breakfast: A self-service chicken noodle station was an interesting feature. Although it was self-service, the kind staff at the egg station went out of his way, literally and figuratively, to make me a bowl of yummy noods as soon as he discerned a culinary disaster was in the making courtesy of yours truly! That gesture of kindness, and many others from the rest, made this stay memorable and filled my heart with fondness for this place. BWH will not be a place I'd go to for a time of mall crawls, cafe hopping or even choice eateries. However, it's a place I'd return to for quiet rest, friendly and kind service that uplifts my soul, and maybe to flex my culinary inadequacies. Just changed my mind - I'll leave the culinary portions to the professionals instead. Oh, and do not miss out on the Healing Garden on the 7th floor. It's a lovingly and thoughtfully tendered private garden - one that will put a smile on your face regardless of your age. This is the first time I've been to a pool area that you'd enter after passing caged chickens, rabbits, birds and a garden that grows herbs, fruits, vegetables and flowering plants! ❤️ If you get to meet the brains behind this Eden, Mr Subra, do stop and have a chat with him. You'll be glad you did so. Fun fact - Mr Subra had named most, if not all, of the animals in his garden. Probably even named the arowana on the 5th floor! There you have it - Berjaya Waterfront Hotel - a place of kindness, healing and rest. »

« First time heading to mid valley area, thus decide to try out this hotel. After a challenging egate downtime day, I had finally arrived at hotel O PE RO. Pros: Soothing aroma smelly lobby reminds me to Big box hotel. Room was compact but comfortable to sleep well. Giant sogo view motivates my shopping time. Hotel staffs were generous to provide more water as my child was having a nasty sore throat. Thank you. Breakfast - Chicken rendang is towards the sweeter side but bursting with tasty coconut milk. I adored the proficient roti prata chef who won me over with his crispy prata. Cons: As an avid hotel guest swimmer, this is the first time I had to share a pool with a few intelligent crows who dripped their beak into the minimum chlolrine pool. How bizzare.. Safety come first when making your way to Mid valley shopping mall. Many vehicles which include coach buses making their way to the carpark.. Bring along an umbrella and put spf. »

« The location is good. The communication is good and fast response as well. But the condo life is pretty slow at peak hours. And we only have clean room about 3.45pm. 45 minute late. »

« The competition location is nearby, so I chose a hotel close to it. The competition time was changed, and my child’s event was rescheduled earlier. While I understand that changing the time is not allowed, I accepted that due to possible discounts. However, they also required that I could not stay in the same room for two nights, which is really frustrating. This meant I had to check out the next day, leaving my suitcase at the front desk, and then check into a different room in the afternoon, which is somewhat inconvenient. The location is convenient, and it's fine for a simple night's sleep, but it wasn't very comfortable »

« The room is clean and spacious, all is good is just some of the room amenities are not good which include the toiletries provided. 1) The toothpaste is in a packet form, difficult to use, and reuse. Also, the hand wash pump seems faulty soap is very difficult to squeeze out. 2) They only provide 1 hair wash gel, no conditioner. 3) In the shower area, there is no extra stand to put our own facial foam/toiletries. 4) The air conditioning in the living room is very cold, no matter how much adjustment is made with the remote. All these could be improved, hopefully the hotel takes into consideration all these feedback. »
