AAzy AbdullahSaw this and it's amenities and felt it was the best for me and my 3 kids. Decided to try this out didn't realize it was further than I'm usually used to.
We arrived in the evening but was greeted by a cheerful receptionist.
Please note there is a 1 mil rupiah deposit. I wasn't prepared for this so I thought to give this a heads up for future booking awareness.
The place was alittle hard to spot from the main road ( there was no signage) but it's landmarks are Cubezone and Ria.
Note, there is a laundry service across the road please expect 1-2 days. Express service is 1 day
The entrance is a dainty little walkway like a secret hideout into a cactus garden that somehow transports you to what looks like Bali crossed with New Mexico feels.
A small but clean pool, well maintained. They have dining table and benches outside for a chill out vibe. There's also a BBQ space where you can engage in their BBQ rental (provides charcoal n pit) with a ceiling fan n sink for your convenience and comfort.
Area is nice and spacious. Once again I just emphasize, they keep it very clean.
The place it seems is 6 container villas surrounding the garden n pool. Which is perfect if you plan to have a big group in.
Inside there's a basic kitchenette with a fridge, pot, kettle.
There were 2 rooms. Both equipped with bathrooms and tvs. Ac was perfection.you don't have to worry about the heat. It's so nice and cold. Makes you wanna just not get out of bed.
The wifi was laggy alittle, didn't bother us as we had local data but it wasn't so nice to be watching a movie and gettin disrupted.
TV is equipped with YOUTUBE and Netflix. Pretty awesome to keep the kids occupied.
Be warned they have live bands that play music till 1-2 am in the morning. Definately didn't expect that but it didn't bother us so much. Once again, another heads up.
Pool is open from 7am to 9pm.
Its also a 15-20mins drive to Nagoya. We normally do Grab roughly about 60-70k.
The host has their number in the welcome print and responds pretty fast if you need to enquire on anything.
Overall, the place is pretty charming and despite it being alittle far from massages n karaoke, I think I found a new go to place. Certainly looking forward to be back.

MMike MCYSI recently stayed at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Batam for a short getaway, and it felt like a refreshing upgrade from the usual Batam hotel experience. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the space felt modern and polished, with a calm, upscale vibe that set the tone for the rest of the stay. Check-in was smooth, and the staff (Maya) were warm and welcoming, which made settling in easy.
The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with everything laid out in a practical way. While it wasn’t overly spacious, it didn’t feel cramped, and the bed was especially comfortable after a full day out. One of the biggest highlights was definitely the location—the hotel is directly connected to Grand Batam Mall, making it incredibly convenient to access food, shopping, and even nearby massage spots without needing to travel far.
Overall, it was a fuss-free and enjoyable stay. The facilities, including the pool and breakfast, were decent and met expectations, though not particularly outstanding. What really stood out was the convenience and comfort, making it a great choice for a relaxing, easy getaway. I would certainly consider staying here again, especially for a short trip where convenience and comfort are key.

SSamie 陈思绵Room is new and clean. Location is near the batam ferry terminal but further away from the city where restaurants and spas are located. If you want a quiet night to sleep, don't stay here! Blaring music from the tapas bar on Level 3 that goes till midnight! Or make sure you get a room that is far away from the tapas bar. The windows are not insulated and the loud music just went on and on. We were only there for 1 night so i didnt bother to ask to change our room. There's nothing much around the hotel area.

Convenient location in Kampung Pelita area, opposite Aston Hotel and Residences and 9 minutes walk to Nagoya Hill Mall, 20 minutes walk maximum to GoGo Supermarket in Bengkong. Amazing place nearby, Kobie Coffee and Ruma Pelita - easily a 5/5 café and cultural / creative experience.
Staff are lovely, gracious, efficient, with excellent language skills. Professional but friendly and welcoming.
Public areas are modern, fresh, tranquil and very well maintained. Lots of thoughtful little touches throughout.
Standard rooms are compact but well appointed, very clean, comfortable. Nice linens. Good sleep. But don't expect any views from the windows.
Like the pool area. Breakfast buffet is highly recommended.

SShelineBeautiful resort with private beach and multiple swimming pools. My child had so much fun there. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Buggy service can bring you everywhere within the resort and going to nearby Barelang seafood restaurant. The seafood there is very fresh, dishes are delicious. The poolside rock salt cafe is nice, offering good cocktails and drinks, also food options like pizza, small bites. Wonderful stay for our family trip!

Les chambres étaient belles et propres, et spacieuses.
Nous avons fait beaucoup de choses autour du parc même pour les adultes, nous avons fait l'archery et les instructeurs étaient très encourageants et très qualifiés dans le guider les premiers tempseurs!

UUtilisateur anonymeI had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the hotel is generally clean and the front desk staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. The room itself was tidy and the bathroom was in good condition.
However, we stayed in Room 426 and had a very difficult time sleeping. The bed makes a lot of loud noise every time you turn over, which made it almost impossible to get a good night's rest. If you are looking for quality sleep, I would recommend requesting a different room.
The worst part is I forgot to ask for changing another room😇😇😇

DDr. ErikI loved Batam View so much! I'll be honest, I wanted to stay at Turi Resort, where I normally stay, but they were fully booked. So I tried Batam View, and I was flabbergasted. I had a room in the main building with sea view, and it was stunning. The rooms have been renovated and are clean, modern, comfortable. The hotel's beach and pool are both amazing, and I was so happy to find a really deep pool (rare in Asia), plus a very clean beach. I had an unforgettable dinner at the beach, too. The staff are universally lovely, attentive and professional! I saw the villas and definitely want to stay there next time! I spent a lovely 6 nights there and cannot wait to return!

IInvitéNous avons séjourné dans la chambre Renee avec vue sur la mer. Lors de l'enregistrement, j'ai dit à la réception que je voulais la chambre avec la meilleure vue sur la mer et elle m'a donné la chambre 138. C'était l'après-midi, l'heure de la marée haute et la mer. l'eau n'était pas loin de notre chambre à 20 mètres ! C’est vraiment l’hébergement le plus proche de la mer ! Regarder la mer depuis le porche avec la brise marine qui souffle est vraiment magnifique ! Nous nous sommes promenés le long de la plage et avons profité du magnifique paysage. Le soir, un buffet barbecue a eu lieu au bord de la piscine et un groupe a chanté pour nous. La chambre était propre et bien rangée, comme une petite villa. séjour expérience!
