AAhmad MostafaAfter spending six days in MGallery Hotel Sapporo, I can safely say this is not an ordinary hotel. Reception at 5 pm was professional, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait. Well done. Takako and Cindy provided a warm, informative and professional service.
The concierge was helpful and welcoming. Very useful in a freezing outdoor climate - thank you Alex.
My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely. The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.
The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic!
WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.
House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.
I had access to the executive lounge. It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.
The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.
The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.
Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.
Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.
To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.
A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day!
Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.

Every detail is meticulously made to ensure Hotel Guests are pampered for the best hospitality experience! The room is spacious and the amenities provided are so mindful of guests' comfort and enjoyment! Convenient location & easy access to Sapporo JR Station and Great underpass to link all key attractions and shopping malls! Rain or Shine, and not even Snowstorm could stop us from going places to places!

EEmmazhaoL'hôtel est situé dans une zone de chaleur et de printemps dans la région.
1. Le gardien de la maison suggère de porter les vêtements et les pantalons fournis par l'hôtel. C'est dommage que toutes les tailles soient les mêmes. Il n'y a pas beaucoup d'importance pour les vêtements, mais les pantalons sont trop grands. Ils rendent extrêmement difficile de marcher et il est très facile de tomber et de tomber.
2. Il y a beaucoup de pas dans la chambre. Une personne âgée de ma famille s'est déplacée et est tombée au bain au milieu de la nuit.
3. La plupart des clients sont japonais. En ce qui concerne le paiement, ils ne peuvent payer en espèces ou utiliser les cartes Visa ou Master.
4. La dernière chose à faire est de la porte de la chambre. Si vous ne fermez pas tous les verrous de l'intérieur quand vous entrez, les gens de l'extérieur pourront ouvrir la porte. Veuillez garder cela à l'esprit.

Nnatsu_yasumiStayed here for 3 nights and overall had a really positive experience.
The location is super convenient, about a 5-minute walk to both the train station and MTR, which made getting around effortless. There are plenty of convenience stores right nearby.
The hotel has a nice quiet vibe, which was perfect after busy days out exploring. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The room itself was a standout, surprisingly big and spacious by Japanese standards. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, and there was still plenty of floor space even after we opened two large suitcases (something that’s almost impossible in most other compact hotels in Japan).
The only downside was the bedding. The duvet (?) was way too thick and heavy for my liking. It made the bed feel quite hot at night, and I ended up sweating a lot despite the AC.
Otherwise, this place was near perfect. Would definitely recommend it to others, especially if you’re okay with cranking the AC lower. Solid choice!

AAomammI was very impressed with this hotel. The staff were excellent, spoke fluent English, and were very helpful. The hotel is new, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is varied and delicious. There's a 24-hour fitness center and a clean onsen.

VVINCENT FREDERICTrès bon séjour à l'hôtel en famille avec un accueil dès la sortie de la station de bus (possibilité d'avoir un parking gratuit avec une voiture). L'hôtel, ses installations et ses équipements ont été présentés en détail au moment du check-in. La chambre était spacieuse et bien équipé avec un bain privatif avec vue. Les lits et les futons sont confortables et un Yukata, ainsi qu'un pyjama sont fournis pour se baigner dans la tradition japonaise. Les sources chaudes de l'hôtel étaient très grandes avec plusieurs bassins donc un bassin extérieur. L'hôtel propose également des snacks et des boissons gratuitement dans le lounge à la sortie des sources chaudes.
Cependant, le repas était un peu décevant car je suis resté sur ma faim et j'ai connu d'autres hôtels avec des meilleurs repas.

CCindy1274I stayed at Sapporo Hotel by Grandbell for four nights and had a lovely overall experience. The hotel is quite new, and the view from the room was beautiful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
One of my favorite parts was the onsen — they have several different baths to choose from, and it was a great way to relax after a long day out in the cold.
The convenience is also a plus, with both FamilyMart and Lawson located just downstairs.
The only downside is that the hotel is not very close to the JR station. It’s still walkable, but can feel a bit far, especially in winter. One night, I had trouble finding the correct exit at the station and ended up walking quite a long distance to get back to the hotel.
Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its comfort, facilities, and relaxing atmosphere — just be prepared for a bit of walking.

DDishuiwaL'emplacement de l'hôtel est excellent, le parc Odori et la rue commerçante Tanukikoji sont accessibles à pied. Les bains thermaux sont agréables, même si la piscine est un peu petite. La plateforme d'observation est très calme et sert de petit bar. J'ai beaucoup aimé le petit-déjeuner, chaleureux et délicieux, il correspondait parfaitement à mes goûts.

UUtilisateur anonymeEverything about this hotel was fantastic! The location is very convenient, with a tram stop and a convenience store just nearby. Getting around is easy, and they even provide a free shuttle to Sapporo Station, which was a lifesaver, dragging suitcases in the snow is no fun at all. It’s also super easy to get to the airport, as the airport limousine stop is right in front of the hotel. Overall, a superb choice for anyone visiting Sapporo!

IInvitéLocation is extremely good - we took a bus from Chitose airport and alighted at Monterey Hotel, which is 3-5 mins walk to New Otani Inn; it is also a short walk to TV tower, Clock Tower, Odori Park (all of these within 5-10 mins). Cleanliness is good anywhere in Japan I guess haha.
Their staff can speak a little english and they used translation just to make sure they understand us correctly, effort is 100% here.
Room size is small and cozy but overall stay is comfortable~
