Our stay at Chalet Ivy Jozankei was truly memorable and one of the best luxury hotel experiences we have had in Japan. The hotel is beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and the hospitality from most of the staff was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady at reception (whose name I unfortunately did not catch), who shared that she personally grows the beautiful flowers displayed in the hotel's sitting area. That personal touch immediately made us feel at home. Mr. Tai, who checked us in, was friendly, patient, courteous and professional. He took the time to explain the room features and hotel facilities in detail, making us feel genuinely welcomed. The cleanliness deserves special recognition. I am particularly sensitive to cleanliness and usually notice dust very easily, yet I could not find a single speck of dirt anywhere in the room. It is honestly one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The lounge was another highlight. Each guest received a ¥1,000 alcoholic drink credit, and the complimentary snacks featured premium Hokkaido brands such as LeTAO, Yoshimi and Ryugetsu, making the experience feel truly luxurious. Dinner was outstanding. Every course was beautifully presented and delicious, while the restaurant staff provided attentive and polished service. The hotel's tasteful interior perfectly complemented the stunning views of the lush greenery and Toyohira River. We were also delighted to find beautifully cut and chilled melon and strawberries waiting in our room upon arrival. It was a thoughtful welcome that reflected the hotel's exceptional attention to detail. Breakfast was equally impressive, with beautifully prepared dishes that made each morning enjoyable. The private onsen in our room was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay, allowing us to relax while enjoying the peaceful natural surroundings. While our overall experience was excellent, I have a few suggestions for improvement. One Japanese male staff member who was on duty during check-in and later that evening came across as rather cold. On several occasions, I smiled and greeted him, but he did not acknowledge me and simply walked away. The contrast with the warmth shown by the rest of the team was quite noticeable. As such a premium property, it would also be wonderful if the hotel could offer more cultural or wellness activities, such as tea appreciation sessions, guided evening walks or seasonal experiences. During a previous stay at Capella Singapore, these activities became some of the most memorable parts of our visit, and I believe Chalet Ivy Jozankei has the perfect setting to offer something similar. I would also like to suggest a different restaurant seating arrangement for tables of four. Currently, only two guests can enjoy the beautiful river and greenery views while the other two face the interior of the restaurant. Arranging the tables perpendicular to the windows would allow all four guests to enjoy the spectacular scenery during their meal. Lastly, although we appreciated receiving tickets to the Summer Night Illumination Festival, accessing the main street requires walking up a very steep slope that is shared with vehicles, which could be challenging and potentially unsafe for elderly guests. In the future, perhaps a pedestrian bridge connecting Level 5 directly to the street level could improve accessibility and safety. Overall, Chalet Ivy Jozankei delivered an exceptional luxury experience with outstanding cleanliness, thoughtful hospitality, remarkable cuisine and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so memorable.

L'hôtel où j'ai séjourné à Sapporo, première étape de mon voyage du Nouvel An, était globalement très bien, notamment le petit-déjeuner, qui était exceptionnel. Il proposait des plats japonais et occidentaux. Le service était également très attentionné. C'était sans doute dû à la haute saison et au prix un peu élevé de l'hôtel. J'ai dépensé plus de 5 000 RMB pour deux nuits, mais l'expérience en valait vraiment la peine !

Booked this hotel because of its location. The underground shopping connected to the hotel made shopping an ease. The hotel is stylish w a nice lobby and scene. They offered white wine as welcome drink which was a nice suprise. Staffs spoke good English and helpful. Their recommendation of a nearby izakaya restaurant was excellent. Will definitely come back to stay!

Stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Sapporo as a couple and had a very comfortable experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious by Japanese standards, which made our stay especially relaxing. The location is also very convenient—about a 10-minute walk to key attractions, restaurants, and transport options, so getting around was easy without feeling too crowded or noisy. Overall, a great choice for couples looking for comfort and accessibility in Sapporo.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et offrent une vue magnifique. Un comptoir dédié au poulet est également à disposition. Au 16e étage, un salon gratuit propose boissons, café, vins rouge et blanc, saké, bière, noix et en-cas. Les plats japonais et français, servis avec des baguettes, étaient excellents, et le service impeccable.

Réservez une navette🚌 : l'hôtel ne propose pas de navette depuis l'aéroport, mais il existe une navette Sapporo. Prenez le JR de l'aéroport à la gare de Sapporo, prenez le métro de la ligne Nord-Sud🚇, descendez à la gare d'Odori et. Montez jusqu'à la sortie n°1 du métro. Attendez le bus au bâtiment Showa. Il y a deux bus par jour, nous avons pris le bus à 14h30. Nous tenons à remercier la gouvernante de l'hôtel Ctrip qui nous a aidé. J'ai réservé la navette aller-retour et j'ai pris la peine de nous aider à le confirmer. Je tiens à leur donner un coup de pouce 👍. Environnement hôtelier : L'environnement est de première classe👍 Le 2ème étage mène à la source chaude♨️Il y a une aire de repos, et des snacks et des boissons sont disponibles à partir de 9h. Le soir, vous pouvez boire du vin japonais, des gâteaux au matcha et des choux sont tous super délicieux😋. L'hôtel propose un petit-déjeuner buffet et un menu pour le dîner, tous deux plutôt bons ! La source chaude dans la source chaude privée dans la chambre♨️ : C'est différent de l'approvisionnement en eau domestique. Le serveur nous a dit que la source chaude avait été installée pour nous le jour de notre entrée et qu'elle était pleine toute la journée. toute la nuit, l'eau était encore chaude😜 Dans l’ensemble, détendez-vous et profitez de la première classe !

Even though there was an earthquake, the hotel staff handled it well. There were no damage to any facilities, building was well engineered, and the announcements were made promptly with smooth transitions. The hotel was very clean and tidy, and clean amenities were replenished daily for multiple days when we stayed. The hotel also has a very nice touch of decor and a small abbey inside. The location of the hotel was very convenient to most places. The hotel staff were also patient and helpful especially when we came as a group of guests. They have made sure to return misplaced belongings with politeness and care.

Nicely renovated hotel. Unfortunately staff are new and surprising not many front desk staff can converse in English.  Breakfast was good with many choices. However, we couldnt eat most of the time as my family has to go for activities early like skiing and local tours. The cafe  staff allows us to start breakfast before the opening time but an English speaking lady with a coat turned up one morning and stopped us from starting breakfast early before the opening time. She was so rude and told us wait till 630 before we can touch the food! I dont see why we cannot start with cereals that was already on display.  I will return to stay as the hotel is new, rooms are large and the onsen is clean and comfortable. There was a gym and laundry facilities too

L'hôtel est situé tout près de la gare, ce qui facilite les déplacements. La chambre, bien que petite, est entièrement équipée, propre et bien rangée, offrant un excellent rapport qualité-prix. De nombreux restaurants et commerces se trouvent également à proximité.

L'hôtel est flambant neuf, et les variateurs d'intensité pour l'éclairage des chambres et des salles de bain sont des attentions appréciables. Il est situé à quelques pas de la gare de Sapporo, mais tout est souterrain, donc en hiver ou en cas de pluie, ce n'est pas un problème. Prenez l'ascenseur à gauche après Miredo. Vous passerez devant une boutique Montbell sur votre droite. Des travaux de rénovation étant en cours, la sortie 7 était inaccessible. Si vous prenez le bus Chuo pour Niseko, l'arrêt du Sapporo Grand Hotel est le plus proche et à deux pas. Les chambres sont de style japonais « petite ». La gare d'Odori est également à seulement 15 minutes à pied.
