L'établissement est très bien situé. Il est certes un peu excentré du centre ville mais il reste proche de tout. Il se trouve dans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Le bus M49 passe devant et vous amène en 20min près du zoo et des magasins. Sinon en 5min à pied vous êtes au S9 qui va jusqu'à l'aéroport SXF en traversant tout Berlin. Vous êtes en centre-ville en 20min. Vous pouvez aussi vous rendre au stade olympique à pied en à peine 10min. Accueil chaleureux, le personnel parle anglais et est à l'écoute pour vous aider au mieux et vous expliquer les détails pour votre séjour. La chambre est immense : un coin cuisine avec tout ce qu'il faut pour faire à manger, frigo, micro-ondes, plaques, un coin salon avec canapé, deux lits simples côte à côte, TV et une grande salle de bain avec double vasque et douche. La chambre est confortable avec tout ce qu'il faut en serviettes et produits pour douche et vaisselle. Le seul défaut de la chambre c'est la porte qu'elle a côté salon et qui permet de communiquer avec la chambre voisine. Même si les voisins n'étaient pas bruyants on entend un peu trop ce qu'il se passe dans la chambre à côté : discussion, bruit de la télé, etc. Cela peut vite être dérangeant pour ceux qui ont le sommeil léger. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent. La variété de produits sucrés, salés, fruits est énorme. Le personnel est disponible pour vous servir en boisson chaude ou s'il vous manque quelque chose. L'établissement dispose au sous sol d'un espace avec vestiaire, sauna et salle de sport. La salle de sport possède pas mal d'appareils, un peu vieillissant surtout les appareils électroniques mais tout est fonctionnel. En résumé nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans une immense chambre avec un très bon petit déjeuner. Cet établissement est très bien desservi par les transports. Son seul défaut est la porte communicante entre les chambres qui pose un problème niveau insonorisation. La rapport qualité / prix est excellent. Une bonne adresse.

By the time this incident happened, I have already completed a 4 days stay in the hotel and was willing to increase my stay. For that purpose, I went to Mrs. Hausweld and asked to please consult the availability and the price of the rooms for extra nights. In response, I was told that the final price, including the city tax for 3 additional nights would be 350 euros with breakfast included. Consequently, I was willing to go along with that reservation and requested to pay by card. Afterward, then Mrs. Hausweld offered me the POS terminal to go along with the payment, and the amount ascended to 419 euros. Due to that unexpected difference, I kindly asked for an explanation and was told that 419 euros were the final price, and if I was not happy with it I would need to leave the hotel immediately. As a result, I kindly refused to pay that amount and asked her to please consult the price for two nights instead of three. In response to that, the front desk manager told me that no more rooms were available for me and that I needed to check out now and leave the hotel. Following that conversation, I went on Booking.com and reserved a room for the same days, without breakfast, and surprisingly rooms were still available. Next, I went to the front desk and asked to please pay for my booking Mrs. Hausweld looked at me in an unfriendly manner and told me she could not find any reservation. After 5 minutes of searching, she could finally open my booking. Then, although I already provided a credit card in my booking, she asked me to show it to her because she was not believing that it was not mine. I answered that the card was in effect mine and offered her to have a look, but it did not have any numbers on it. So she got ahead to request me to write down my credit card details, including the CVV code, on a piece of paper as ”a security”. Afterward, I was asked again by her if I would like breakfast or not, despite I selected the no breakfast option on booking.com. A moment later I was offered the POS terminal to pay by card, which stated an amount 30 euros higher that the price I booked the room for on this site. Due to the reoccurrence of the same, previous situation again, I refused to pay and respectfully asked her why the price was higher again. Mrs. Hauweld answered in a very disrespectful manner that I asked her to have breakfast included and that I was confusing her again. After that situation, I kindly asked them to speak with her supervisor. She answered, that she had no supervisor and was the only person working in the hotel for the whole weekend. That experience left me in complete disbelief of her professionality and her being in that important role in the hotel. However, despite that bad experience with that particular staff member, I would like to note that the other front desk managers were very friendly and helpful at all times.

Le service était bon et les employés étaient tout à fait amicals et préventifs. Cependant, une force de service dans le restaurant ne parlait pas allemand, ce devrait être dans un hôtel en Allemagne. Nous pensons que le petit déjeuner était trop cher pour 19,50 euros. Un peu de poisson (saison) aurait été inclus. Dans un hôtel de Berlin Je m'attends à ce petit déjeuner aussi le célèbre ”Berlins schribbe” et pas de pâtes de papa. Sinon, tout était bien. Beaucoup le prix réduit pour le parking le week-end.

I chose this hotel as I was touring Berlin with a friend for a few days, but he was arriving a couple of days later than me. This proved to be a great option in terms of budget, distance from the city centre and proximity to public transport. Once you come up the steps from the U-Bahn at Siemenssdamm, it’s immediately to your right. The member of staff in the reception was warm and friendly and spoke very good English as my German is not very good after studying it a little at school 25 years ago. The room was large, very clean, and well-equipped. It was too warm for me, and turning the air con down didn’t help, but the window opens very wide. The bathroom also had a bath which was a bonus. The bed is firm which I really enjoyed, but I appreciate that won’t be to everyone’s liking. I’m sure I requested the room not to be serviced but the maid had been in every day. I didn’t use the TV but the Wi-Fi was a little patchy and slow at times. There is plenty of plug sockets including one near the bed. There was a soft light on the floor lamp and a desk lamp which was great. I had the buffet breakfast one morning, which had a great and varied selection of hot and cold food, this included cereals, bread, cold meats, cheeses, eggs, sausages, fresh juice, tea, and coffee. There is a supermarket across the road open till 10 pm, which was handy to get food for dinner. Yeah, it is quiet, and felt safe. I couldn’t hear any noise from any adjacent rooms. If I’m visiting Berlin in the future on my own, I will probably stay here again.

Cet hôtel est étonnant de la très confortable chambre spacieuse qui a regardé une belle forêt à la belle piscine à laquelle nous avons eu à nous-mêmes, le petit-déjeuner était second à non et le personnel ne pouvait plus faire si ils essayaient de s'assurer que nous avions eu Le petit Oasis, qui traite chaque matin, est un touche spécial. Si votre conduite est facile à aller partout, et il y a beaucoup de parking qui est soit gratuit, soit aussi bon marché, peut-être aussi. Les mentions spéciales pour Nadine et Stephanie ont toujours dit bon matin et il a fallu du temps de nous parler - merci de faire de notre séjour une telle spéciale.

L'hôtel est agréable et très bien. Il est particulièrement adapté pour voyager avec des enfants. C'est aussi un bon choix pour les voyages d'affaires car les étages sont très hauts et le paysage est particulièrement beau. Il est également très proche des attractions, vous pouvez vous y rendre à pied. Continuera à rester la prochaine fois.
