AAmarFromUKLocation Walk 7 minutes in one direction and you are at Checkpoint Charlie. Walk 10 mins in the other direction and you are at the Mall of Berlin. Walk 20 mins in another direction and you are in the Museum area of Berlin. Loads of restaurants, supermarkets and stores right next door to the apartment. Wonderful location. Can walk everywhere, plus the subway station is right outside. Room Large. Clean. It's a studio apartment, so in one room you will have your bed, sofa, coffee table, desk, wardrobe and TV. Then in another room you will have your kitchen and another room is your bathroom. Bedroom Bed is comfortable, but for some reason, despite having a 1 double bed, the duvets supplied were for 2 single beds, rather than one big bed. Plug sockets near the beds are useful, but they are not VERY near, but close enough. The room is large and clean. The TV is small and because of the size of the room, it's almost hard to see. Yes it's on a wheeled table so you can bring it closer to the bed, but the power cord limits the range of movement. It is a Smart TV though so you can cast your android phone to it. Not iOS There is a balcony area with tables and chairs which is nice. The AC is wall mounted as if it was a TV. It did cool the room which is surprising as the room is big. Bathroom Super clean. Towels and such changed daily. It's a bathtub with a shower combined. And now I am going to be SUPER picky when I say this......do NOT let this impact your decision to stay here or not, but the water pressure is good but not great. But that may be because I like to feel like the water is really shooting at my skin. Also, the shower head holder kept sliding down. Annoying, ever so slightly, but not a deal breaker Kitchen So useful. It's a large kitchen with a fridge plus freezer. Induction hob with 2 rings. Sink, dishwasher. Plates, bowls, cups, tea saucers and cups, cutlery, cooking pots, frying pans, utensils for them, cutlery for eating, kitchen knives, tea towels, sieves... all great and all provided. There was one review that said it only offered 1 plate set.... we had several and it was very very useful. Laundry The apartment has a laundry room. 3 washing machines, 3 drying units, an ironing board and good steam iron. Even the powder is provided and having a laundry room was super useful. It's on -1 floor of the West side of the building. Breakfast The breakfast room, on the 8th floor does have an amazing view, and the room is lovely - everything is white with stone-coloured chairs, super clean... as if designed by Apple It's a half-buffet style, cereal, pastry, cheese, and cured meats are all help yourself. Eggs, tea and coffee are on request. I didn't like this. The staff are wonderful and very polite and well trained, but, for me, I prefer less interaction and would have preferred a full buffet-style where I can help myself to whatever I wanted without having to ask. Gym and Sauna Also on the 8th floor. The gym has wonderful views, there is a seated bike, treadmill, rowing machine, weight bench and some dumbbells. Max weight was 10kg for the dumbbells so really its more of a cardio room. Service. We arrived around 11pm, but reception is not open. You have to scan a QR code, fill in all your details, upload a photo of your passport.... then wait after it successfully registers you you can open the doors. Or you can pop into the security office where the guy will hand you a key. Much easier, but you are not explicitly told. But, the service is good here. Everyone is very polite, very helpful, all speak English. Cannot fault them at all. Just wish the reception was 24 hours The location is great, the room is large and clean, the laundry room is useful and the gym and breakfast room have great views. It is expensive which is the only hesitant thing about returning here, but it is comparable in price to other similar hotels but here you get a much larger room with a kitchen. Great stay!

IInvitéIt's rare to find hotels that just got out right. The Circus Hotel is one of them! From a ”red carpet” rolled out in the hallways in line with their theme, to a handwritten welcome card with Bulow candy (Yum!), pictograms next to the light buttons, and lights that go on automatically when entering the room and give you 30 seconds to find the key card holder. Well done team Circus! Chapeau!

UUtilisateur anonymePerfectly located — within easy walking distance to most major sights in Mitte like the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Philharmonic, and Checkpoint Charlie. For places a bit further out, there’s a train station right in front of the hotel, which makes getting around effortless. There’s even a dm grocery store just a minute’s walk away, which was super convenient. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with a full set of amenities provided from the start — something surprisingly rare in Europe. Overall, a very comfortable and well-thought-out stay. Highly recommend!

IInvitéHotel magnifique avec excellentes chambres, très élégant et de bonnes installations. Le petit déjeuner est méga classé, le soir, il met un DJ dans le centre-ville et le service et l'attention du personnel est très bon. La salle est tout à fait recommandée et nous serons ravis de revenir à la prochaine résidence de Berlin.

We tried ordering room service but we didn’t have a way to do it and when we called reception they basically told us to just look in the room for the menu. We only had a breakfast one. IInvitéJ'ai passé un séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel et je le recommanderais volontiers aux voyageurs d'agrément comme d'affaires. Dès mon arrivée, l'ambiance générale m'a semblé accueillante et bien organisée. Le processus d'enregistrement a été fluide et efficace, avec un personnel professionnel, amical et désireux de répondre à toutes mes questions. La chambre elle-même était propre, spacieuse et conçue avec soin. Le lit était extrêmement confortable, ce qui m'a permis de passer une bonne nuit de sommeil après une longue journée. J'ai apprécié l'attention portée aux détails, des draps frais et des articles de toilette de qualité à l'espace de rangement généreux et à l'espace de travail bien éclairé. Le service de ménage a fait un excellent travail pour maintenir la propreté tout au long du séjour. Les équipements de l'hôtel ont ajouté beaucoup de valeur à l'expérience. Les parties communes étaient bien entretenues et les installations étaient facilement accessibles. Le petit-déjeuner a été un point fort, offrant une bonne variété d'options fraîches et savoureuses qui répondaient à différentes préférences. Tout était réapprovisionné rapidement, et la salle à manger est restée propre et confortable même pendant les heures de pointe. En termes d'emplacement, l'hôtel est très pratique. Il est proche des principales attractions, des restaurants et des options de transport, ce qui facilite les déplacements sans tracas. Malgré son emplacement central, l'hôtel était calme et silencieux, ce qui a été une agréable surprise. Dans l'ensemble, cet hôtel offre un excellent équilibre entre confort, service et rapport qualité-prix. GGeiorgiestravelsThis is a very big hostel with hundreds of beds, though it did not feel cramped or loud. I had a quiet stay.   I stayed for 2 nights in a mixed dorm with three bunk beds and en-suite. The toilet and shower are separate which makes use easier. Hanson’s and shower gel is included, as is a hairdryer.   The room is spacious with tables and seating areas, this is also of use to those who on the top bunk who cannot sit on their bed as easily.  There is a mirror though a lack of hooks being only a hook and couple of hangers. The bed is of a metal frame and thus I was able to apply my travel straps and hooks to create places to hand my coat and bag. There is a locker big enough to take hand luggage sized bag (own lock needed).  The bed has a usb port for charging and a slot into which a phone will fit, though no individual light. The room has two lights and it is possible to turn on only one; the other people in my room came in and out at unsociable hours though we’re all respectful being quiet and also putting in the main light.   The mattress and pillow are comfy enough, you need to collect linen and make the bed yourself.  Everything was clean.  Reception is 24 hours though checking us via one of the 4 automated screens. It is through the machines that you do check in and pay tourist tax and the machine prints paper with your allocated room and bed number. You even activate the room card yourself. There is a sign in the desk with a map of blocks with room numbers in each one. That is all the welcome that you get; there is no explanation related to hostel layout or facilities. I had to ask in which direction to go to get to my block, the receptionist gave my directions and once I got to the room and found no bedding on the bed so went back to reception. The check in computer screen states that bed linen is provided free of charge and towels can be paid for at reception. The receptionist did not give me any bedding nor point to where to where to pick it up some thus I assumed the linen would be laid on the bed as in other hostels. The next day a person arriving in the room asked where he gets bed linen, he also did not get given any bedding even when talking with the receptionist. I do find it odd that you are expected to ask for the bedding: as this is the case I recommend updating the wording on the computer screen as it is ambiguous and gives the impression you only need to ask at reception if needing a towel.  There is a guest kitchen which has basic equipment: fridge, sink, microwave, 2 hot plates, 2 frying pans, 1 saucepan, some plates, bowls and some cutlery. There was one mug in which I made a cup of tea by heating water in the microwave. I recommend a kettle to boil water. The kitchen is sufficient for simple meals, making breakfast and sandwiches. I did not try the hostel breakfast.  There is one common area near reception with a bar and possibility to purchase food. Vending machines there. WiFi reliable. The common room can feel cramped when groups are there. There is good security as all entrance doors and lifts use card access. To access the guest kitchen ask at reception and they update your card.  The location is very good being 5 min walk from Ostkreuz train station. It is a direct line to Messe Nord where the bus station and FlixBus stop is. Easy to get public transportation into the cities. There are many shops, supermarkets and eating places nearby. Vegan kebab shop directly opposite.  Good value for money. I had a comfortable stay with no difficulties and I would stay again.

SSze YinIl était plutôt inquiétant de rester ici, compte tenu des mauvaises évaluations, mais l'expérience n'était pas mauvaise et ne prévaut pas pour l'argent. La chambre que j'ai séjourné était propre, mais certaines toilettes ont eu un puissant odeur de pee, mais cela était toujours bien, puisque je pouvais aller un peu plus loin pour utiliser des toilettes plus propres. Je pourrais aussi voir les nettoyeurs travailler très régulièrement chaque matin pour nettoyer le lieu, donc la propreté globale est acceptable mais très dépend de vos camarades d'auberge. La location était assez loin du centre-ville, mais il était encore v accessible aux transports publics, donc c'était bon. J'ai lu quelques commentaires sur le bruit de la nuit à l'auberge qui vient de l'extérieur. Ils exploseraient occasionnellement la musique à la nuit, mais ça ne m'ennuie pas trop comme je suis un sommeil lourd. La chambre privée est très confortable et très confortable. Cependant, j'ai trouvé de grands groupes d'hommes âgés qui se penchaient autour des corridors et fumaient près des portes tard la nuit. Ils se déplaceraient occasionnellement de la toilette et dans les couloirs partagés dans leur sous-vêtement, il était donc très inconfortable, surtout quand je devais passer par eux.
