UUtilisateur anonymeI stayed here for 3 nights and honestly, I’m very disappointed.
Let’s start with the positives: the location is excellent. Right opposite the train and metro station, Lidl & Rewe supermarkets nearby, and just a straight 15‑minute walk into the old town. Super convenient.
But unfortunately, that’s about it. Service was really flat — communication with reception was very standard, nothing warm or welcoming. The room itself was on the small side (clean, yes, but definitely not spacious).
The real disappointment: water policy. The hotel only provides ONE small bottle of water per day per room. That’s for two people. On my first day, I asked reception for an extra bottle — they told me to go to the bar. Fine, I got one there. On the second day, since we skipped housekeeping, there was no water refill, so at night I went to the bar again to ask for another bottle. This time the staff told me I had to pay.
I was completely shocked. A 4‑star hotel charging €200 per night… and they won’t even provide guests with a simple bottle of still water? I’ve stayed in so many hotels across Europe and this is the first time I’ve encountered something like this. Even more absurd, the hotel leaves free apples at reception and offers unlimited water at breakfast — but refuses to give guests a bottle of water to take to the room? Ridiculous.
This policy really ruined what could have been a good stay. For a “collection” hotel brand, I expected much more in terms of service and hospitality. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel.

CCSICOverall experience ok. Hotel is accessible by underground walkway from Rosenheimer station and we appreciated that as weather was cold. As per most hotels in Europe, basic amenities such as hair conditioner + body moisturiser were not provided and have to be requested. Other than that, all was good.

IInvitéWe received excellent service at this hotel during our check in provided by Aaryan. Aaryan helped guide us into the parking garage, was super friendly and got us a room in the main tower where there was an elevator to use (despite our booking in the less expensive annex room). He even offered to provide us suggestions for the sunny weather during our stay in Munich and made sure to say hello and check in on us each time we saw it. It was natural and friendly customer service.
The hotel is a little older and has some interesting decor. The room had a futon couch, a good bed, desk area, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge (with some pop and water you could pay for), an iPod dock, a good sized TV, and plenty of counter space to put our things. They provided gummy bears and a couple of cookies in our room too which was nice. The bed was comfy for me and the hotel can provide more bedding or pillows on request. We felt the cleanliness could have been better as our tea cups were a bit dirty.
The bathroom was interesting with two stools but really a place to put them. The shower was not our favourite with no door or shower curtain and the glass was not enough to keep the water in. There is an all in one shampoo/body wash that was ok. The towels were a little thin and could use replacement.
The cost of the hotel was good and we felt it was a decent location. It is a bit far from the main attractions of Munich but it has good public transport access including the nearby central station which is less than 10 minutes away from the hotel. There are a few restaurants and convenience stores by the hotel that are open quite late and there are some Bavarian/Oktoberfest souvenir stores nearby. I felt safe walking around alone at night to get a late night doner.
The breakfast at the hotel is pretty good with a good variety of food including deli meats, cheeses, bread, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee and tea. There was lots of seating available including some artsy chairs.
There is limited parking at this hotel and it is very tight so we are glad we rented a compact. If you choose to park here you have to go in to see reception so they can open the door and guide you to your spot. It may also be recommended to contact the hotel in advance to reserve a spot. The front desk initially said it was 20 euros for parking but charged us 22. There are other parkades nearby but due to the construction in the area we felt there was convenient having the car parked at the hotel.

AAKADAJ'y ai séjourné le soir du réveillon du Nouvel An.
J'avais entendu dire que le feu d'artifice du Nouvel An à Munich ne s'arrêtait jamais, alors j'avais peur de ne pas pouvoir dormir, mais la pièce était hermétique et incroyablement calme, j'ai donc pu dormir paisiblement.
C'était un hôtel très unique et intéressant, mais malheureusement le lit était cher et difficile à utiliser, et il n'y avait pas de pantoufles ni de peignoirs fournis. À part ça, je pense que c'était bien.

Das einzige, was wirklich stört, waren zur Weihnachtszeit alte hässlich und ungepflegte Skigondeln, in welchen Gäste bewirtet wurden. Dadurch wurde der Zugang zum Hotel massiv erschwert.
Es ist nicht nachvollziehbar, wie das Management eines so renommierten Hauses auf eine solche Idee kommen kann.

IInvitéMon collègue et moi avons eu le plaisir de séjourner dans cette auberge et ce fut une expérience formidable ! L'emplacement est imbattable et juste à côté de la gare principale de Munich. Ce qui distingue vraiment cette auberge, c'est le personnel, en particulier Adrian. Son hospitalité, sa serviabilité et sa gentillesse ont rendu notre séjour inoubliable.
Les chambres étaient confortables. Je recommande vivement cette auberge à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour inoubliable dans cette ville merveilleuse ! Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour cette belle expérience !

\\O_O/Given the comments I read from other travellers, the hotel actually has far exceeded my expectation. First of all, there is a U-bahn station right next to the hotel, which takes you only 2 minutes to the central station. The room is spacious, clean and air-conditioned, which is rather rare among other hotels in Germany. It also comes with a large window, which makes the entire room bright and cosy. The front-desk service is 24 hours. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
