IInvitéThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

IInvitéThe hotel exceeded our expectations. It is located away from the hustle and bustle, offering a very serene and peaceful environment. The staff were warm and hospitable, and the food was surprisingly delicious—our favourite was the fun platter. We also enjoyed the BBQ dinner and the complimentary kayaking activity.
One area for improvement would be mosquito control. It may be helpful to increase the frequency of pest control services, as we experienced quite a severe mosquito issue and received more than twenty bites during just one dinner.

JJason2023Absolutely incredible hotel experience! Stunning room with balcony overlooking the Singapore Strait. Several activities you can do, from eco golf to fishing and a movie night projected on to the side of the ship. The tour was excellent and all of the staff were great. I hired a motorbike through reception so I could explore the island - all organised very well, although 3x more expensive than say Thailand, Vietnam etc. The restaurant has a limited menu unless you are happy with local, mainly seafood dishes with a couple of western options and pizza. The drinks are expensive already, then they add 21% service and tax, again, significantly higher than what you would pay in similar SE Asian countries but I heard typical for Bintan. Buy your drinks from the convenience store in the ferry terminal - 4x cheaper than the hotel bar restaurant. They did say however that their profits are given to charity. Overall, I had an incredible stay here, excellent value, excellent location if you want to chill or explore the island (not suitable for walking) or just relaxing by the beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Highly recommended, will 100% return and no need to look at any other hotel on Bintan!

IInvitéToute l’expérience a été vraiment incroyable. Le service était excellent ! Dès l'instant où nous sommes entrés dans le terminal du ferry de Bintan, nous avons été accueillis par le personnel amical et ils nous ont mis à l'aise jusqu'au moment où nous sommes sortis du terminal du ferry de Bintan.
Dès que nous sommes montés à bord du bus, on nous a donné des biscuits et des serviettes froides, sans oublier le wifi gratuit tout au long de notre trajet de 75 minutes jusqu'au complexe. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous avons été accueillis par un personnel sympathique et nous avons immédiatement été conduits à une chambre pour notre verre de bienvenue et notre enregistrement. Le processus d'enregistrement a été rapide mais aucune chambre n'était disponible à 11 heures et plus. On nous a dit que notre chambre ne serait disponible qu'à 14 heures (c'est déjà plus tôt car l'enregistrement est à 15 heures) et le personnel nous avait conseillé de nous promener et d'aller d'abord déjeuner pendant le temps d'attente. À la fin, nous avons réussi à prendre notre déjeuner à 13 heures (plus tôt que ce qu'ils nous ont dit). Ce que j'aime dans le complexe, c'est qu'ils mettent à jour leurs activités et leurs réponses via WhatsApp.
Lorsque nous sommes entrés dans votre chambre, nos bagages y étaient déjà livrés et la climatisation fonctionnait. Il faisait donc déjà frais... le temps à Bintan est CHAUD en décembre Hahhahaa. La chambre était très belle et spacieuse. C'était tellement incroyable et romantique. Cela me donne vraiment envie de ne pas quitter la pièce.
La nourriture y était bonne aussi. Bien qu'il n'y ait que deux restaurants, ils proposent une grande variété de plats. Et chaque soir, ils proposent un thème différent pour le dîner. La nuit où j'étais là-bas, ils ont eu la nuit Pasar Malam. Des stands de nourriture ont été installés à l'air libre avec des tables et des chaises et le personnel a compris que la nuit suivante, ils faisaient un barbecue au bord de la mer. Dommage, je ne suis là que pour une nuit. Ils ont également un énorme petit-déjeuner.
Il y a de la musique live au bar de la piscine. Outre les boissons, des plats y sont également servis. La musique live est SUPER !
C'est vraiment un séjour agréable !

IInvitéNous avons trouvé ce beau lieu sur notre tour de vélo de deux jours par le père et le fils de l'Ouest de Bintan, et nous avons aimé le camp de type ferme, ample, situé entre les collines et les savannes, avec la terre rouge et les palmiers verts éternels de Bintan. La zone de réception est déjà ouverte et amicale, et vous regardez dans un monde très agréable et bienvenu. Le propriétaire a établi que c'est un centre de formation et d'apprentissage durable pour les jeunes, tout en offrant des activités magnifiques et bien intégrées pour les familles, les enfants et les groupes. Nous avons séjourné dans l'une des maisons de relâchement adjacentes à l'un des petits lacs et de relaxation, et mon 5e fils aimait chaque pouce de cela. La cuisine est très délicieusement légèrement épicée, la cafetière est italienne, le petit déjeuner offre un choix de deux menus qui vous permet de ne pas choisir mal. Yanu a été très favorable à l'ingénierie d'un kite et nous a aidé à le faire voler (même en dehors de son tour). En tant que cyclistes naturels, nous avons aimé les routes vides et petites, à travers le camp, donc nous avons même eu un moment merveilleux de faire des vélos jusqu'à la Lagoon bleue (1h). Le Bintan Ferry prend des vélos pour le transport, donc faites 6-seater cabines à Singapour. Je peux fortement recommander cet endroit pour tout plan d'évacuation de la grande ville et pour tous les fans de la nature.

DDaniVinWe really enjoyed our stay at Natra Resort. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming—we were always greeted with warm smiles, which made a big difference. The complimentary buffet breakfast was a great bonus.
Food and spa services are on the pricier side, but the resort is fully self-contained, so you don’t really need to go elsewhere. Complimentary buggy services around the resort were very convenient, and they also offer activities, spa packages, and taxi services.
Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay and would definitely return.

TTravellingmamaI like that the location is 15 minutes away from the BBT ferry terminal and they provide free transfer to and fro. The hotel looks relatively new but it has a chalet feel rather than a resort. The beach is shared among 3 resorts and it is beautiful and clean. We ate the Indonesian buffet on Friday night which cost INR550,000 per pax. Loved the sate and kueh the most. During breakfast, we were directed to Angsana as cassia was full. Breakfast is average. The one room apartment is small but comfortable as they divided the space into bedroom, living room and kitchenette. Staff were attentive throughout the checkin, checkout, dining and transfer. All were smooth and quick. We happen to witness the release of sea turtles. Kudos to Bintan sea conservation team!

SShiju JohnAmazing place to stay if you need to just relax and recharge in the calm. Just idle time sitting in the patio of your sea view villa and enjoy looking at the sea or walking by the beach collecting sea shells and finding baby mud crabs inside of the sea shells. It was not our first time staying at Mayang Sari or one of the other Nirwana properties. Hence, the smiling staff with their impeccable service levels is never a surprise but always a pleasure. Mayang Sari has its own restaurant, the Deli Cafe, where you can get local and western delicacies and drinks. The property has an Indian restaurant, Spice, which is a 5 minute walk from Mayang Sari, and Nirwana also has its own restaurant. They have a pick and drop shuttle from the ferry terminal, which makes it very convenient. Just a call put that this is Lagoi, so please don't expect to have malls around, and the city centre falls in the Tanjung Pinang area.

IInvitéL'hôtel se trouve à environ 15 minutes de la jetée et une voiture spéciale viendra vous chercher. Le service de l'hôtel est très bon. Après l'enregistrement, la réception vous donnera les coordonnées WhatsApp et sera disponible 24h/24. Inconvénients : L'hôtel est relativement ancien, il y a beaucoup de moustiques, l'hygiène est moyenne et les patients mysophobes sont très déprimés. Le lit est très dur et la literie n'est pas bonne. Ce n'est pas à la hauteur des standards hôteliers, mais c'est probablement la qualité hôtelière. Le pire c'est la restauration de l'hôtel qui est vraiment très désagréable. J'ai payé un cappuccino pour le petit-déjeuner, mais j'avais l'impression que personne ne savait préparer du café. Si vous voulez manger, vous amuser et bien vous reposer, je ne vous le recommande pas. Je suis venu parce que la chambre avait une piscine. En fait, la piscine était si petite que même un enfant ne pouvait pas y jouer. Il y a beaucoup de choix à Bintan, donc je n'y retournerai probablement pas.

MMayer ChanCheck in was quick and easy. Rooms were already blasting cold temperature at 16C with a card inserted into the system. Much appreciated due to the super hot weather.
Pool was small. More for soaking chilling than swimming.
Gym was small. Enclosed with glass with the top open-air so it can be very hot and humid. Treadmill was pitiful. It is more of a home-based type treadmill than one that is usually found in hotels.
My group of 14 adults decided to have dinner at the cafe/ restaurant. The menu is limited but sufficient for us to try the local food. Unfortunately, the food was very slow and came in bits and pieces ie 1 dish came out after 10-15min of waiting. Imagine 14 adults ordering multiple dishes + drinks? We must have ordered 30+ dishes, not including drinks. It was only at the last 20min of our dinner that many dishes came out of the kitchen at the same time. The staff was definitely not prepared to handle such orders in the evenings. Some of the dishes like satay was cold. Some dishes were also missed out. Truly disappointing.
The wait staff were nice and patient.
Breakfast was much better. Many dishes and choices.
This hotel seems to be a popular choice with Chinese nationals. The whole hotel was swarmed with them during breakfast.
