IInvitéWe recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests.
1. Room Consistency & Communication
Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved.
2. Villa Room Maintenance
On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression.
We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved.

IInvitéWe booked 4 rainforest sea view villas from Singapore. The rooms are in the traditional Balinese villa resort style. They are spacious, beautiful, clean, and equipped with complete toiletries. There are also two pairs of Japanese slippers for showering or going to the beach, and two pairs of cloth shoes for wearing in the room. The hygiene is good, and they clean twice a day. There are three-hole British sockets on both sides of the long table in the room, and there is no need for Indonesian plugs at all, which is very convenient to use. The balcony also has a large jacuzzi.The room is very quiet, and you can hear birds singing in the early morning. All the staff can speak English, and they are all very kind and polite, and their service attitude are also great. The breakfast is also good, and there are many food choices. Whether you go to eat or go back to the room, you can call the hotel's free buggy. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
We will continue to stay in the same BanyanTree when I come to Bintan Island again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and amenities was Secntia brand which was nice. The check-in snd check out process was seamless, service staff was great throughout as they were always greeted us with a smile, very friendly and helpful (shoutout to willy, ilman,tommy, adel & many more). We loved the hotel's pool area, and the breakfast buffet could have more live stations and variety. The location was near Plaza Lagoi & i would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

SSavvytanIt’s our first time and definitely not the last. Everything was great from the buggy in, to the size of the very clean room, to the baby cot that was already provided in the room and room service.
Only thing I’d suggest for improvement is the massage place is too near the restaurant and live bar. There was loud music when we went for our spa retreat and the music dampened the quietness and chill mood we wanted for the spa and massage. I would suggest to move it further away or install sound proofing walls for the tent.
Other than that, quite a perfect stay. We didn’t have enough time to explore the activities centre as it was for kids aged 3 and above.
One last thing, everything is chargeable for rent which I feel certain things could have been provided for less cost or free. Like bicycles to get around the very large lagoon or kick scooters. Their 2/3 wheelers were fully rented out and not cheap to rent too.

JJason2023Absolutely incredible hotel experience! Stunning room with balcony overlooking the Singapore Strait. Several activities you can do, from eco golf to fishing and a movie night projected on to the side of the ship. The tour was excellent and all of the staff were great. I hired a motorbike through reception so I could explore the island - all organised very well, although 3x more expensive than say Thailand, Vietnam etc. The restaurant has a limited menu unless you are happy with local, mainly seafood dishes with a couple of western options and pizza. The drinks are expensive already, then they add 21% service and tax, again, significantly higher than what you would pay in similar SE Asian countries but I heard typical for Bintan. Buy your drinks from the convenience store in the ferry terminal - 4x cheaper than the hotel bar restaurant. They did say however that their profits are given to charity. Overall, I had an incredible stay here, excellent value, excellent location if you want to chill or explore the island (not suitable for walking) or just relaxing by the beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Highly recommended, will 100% return and no need to look at any other hotel on Bintan!

Une fois que nous avons oublié de leur parler de notre réduction de 15 % sur la nourriture et les boissons, ils nous ont présenté leurs excuses en disant qu'ils avaient oublié de vérifier.🥹 Nous sommes venus ici pour faire une courte escapade pour notre premier anniversaire et l'anniversaire de mon mari et ils décorent le lit. + offrez-nous des gâteaux gratuits pour célébrer nos occasions spéciales.😇
Nourriture : 10/10 Nous adorons le restaurant et la nourriture ici par rapport à l'autre complexe où nous sommes allés. Bien que l'autre complexe soit toujours très bon, la disposition des sièges du restaurant Bintan de la résidence s'adresse aux petits groupes et à l'intimité au lieu de regrouper tout le monde dans la même immense table.😊
Installations : je dois dire que je suis légèrement déçu par leurs installations car je m'ennuie car il n'y avait presque rien à faire ici :( Je comprends que la résidence Bintan est plus calme que les autres complexes hôteliers et que les gens choisissent probablement le complexe pour se détendre. et rester dans leurs chambres. Mais ils ont quand même besoin d'avoir suffisamment d'activités pour les plus jeunes, comme je pense que leur complexe s'oriente davantage vers le concept « d'environnement naturel », de nombreuses activités sont basées sur la météo, la cause naturelle de la mer. l'eau de telle sorte qu'il ne peut y avoir d'activités nautiques qu'à marée haute, tôt le matin, vers 11 heures du matin, toutes les activités nautiques cessent en raison de la marée basse et il n'y a alors plus rien à faire, à part nager et combien de temps pouvons-nous nager dans un bain. jour, n'est-ce pas ?☹️ Oui, nous pouvons voyager pour des activités, mais comme nous sommes déjà dans la partie la plus intérieure du pays, voyager peut prendre jusqu'à une heure, ce qui est également assez fastidieux.
Alors oui, voici une partie de mon expérience ici. Néanmoins, je recommanderai quand même la résidence Bintan aux couples et aux familles qui souhaitent simplement un complexe calme et tranquille pour de courtes vacances. (P. S. ce complexe est vraiment calme car il n'y a pas beaucoup de musique nulle part, pas même dans le hall HAHA).🙊

IInvitéNous avons trouvé ce beau lieu sur notre tour de vélo de deux jours par le père et le fils de l'Ouest de Bintan, et nous avons aimé le camp de type ferme, ample, situé entre les collines et les savannes, avec la terre rouge et les palmiers verts éternels de Bintan. La zone de réception est déjà ouverte et amicale, et vous regardez dans un monde très agréable et bienvenu. Le propriétaire a établi que c'est un centre de formation et d'apprentissage durable pour les jeunes, tout en offrant des activités magnifiques et bien intégrées pour les familles, les enfants et les groupes. Nous avons séjourné dans l'une des maisons de relâchement adjacentes à l'un des petits lacs et de relaxation, et mon 5e fils aimait chaque pouce de cela. La cuisine est très délicieusement légèrement épicée, la cafetière est italienne, le petit déjeuner offre un choix de deux menus qui vous permet de ne pas choisir mal. Yanu a été très favorable à l'ingénierie d'un kite et nous a aidé à le faire voler (même en dehors de son tour). En tant que cyclistes naturels, nous avons aimé les routes vides et petites, à travers le camp, donc nous avons même eu un moment merveilleux de faire des vélos jusqu'à la Lagoon bleue (1h). Le Bintan Ferry prend des vélos pour le transport, donc faites 6-seater cabines à Singapour. Je peux fortement recommander cet endroit pour tout plan d'évacuation de la grande ville et pour tous les fans de la nature.

IInvitéIt was a great stay for us. Sea view chalet is nice and comfortable for me and my husband. Unobstructed view for the sea is my favourite. Room service was good and staffs were friendly and always greet us with smiling face. We stayed for 3 nights and we ate our meals at the resort’s restaurants. Breakfast was included in our booking and food served at the breakfast was good but nothing special to mention. We had our lunch and dinner at the Spice and the Kelong seafood restaurant. I will say the food varieties is limited and pricey. I will say it is more expensive than Singapore (one of the most expensive city in asia). For two person we spent about 70$-170$ per meal… appitizer, one main dish and one cheapest drink. When we had seafood dish, it cost more, of course, about $170. Overalls, it was a good experience. Nice stay except the pricey food. Taste of the food are just fine. We stayed 3 nights, so it made us more difficult to choose what to eat when you have not much to choose and it is not exciting and you are at the resort… so you can’t go out and buy more affordable food outside. If the resort can have more Chinese cuisine will be good. So, if you are staying for relaxation then it is good. If you are foodie,,, this place is not for you.

PPratibha AshwinWe stayed with our family at the Kawaland glamping resort for 3D,2N. We had a very nice experience. The staff were sincere, hard working, friendly and courteous with all our needs. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and explained to us about the Indonesian cuisine. All the food that we tried at the restaurant was good! The glamping rooms were comfortable with spacious bedroom and bathrooms. The beach was only a walking distance from the resort & it was clean and beautiful. They also had swimming pools. We also had a good experience using the BBQ pit with the help of staff. We were also able to try the movie night with the projector at the beach bar. One area that could be improved is: During warm weather, the roof panels and the room interior gets quite hot. The AC alone was not sufficient. So it may need some other solution as well to keep the room comfortable. Otherwise, we had a chill, happy vacation at the resort! Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Wwondrous lifeThis resort offers a truly unique and serene experience, tucked away in a secluded part of Bintan. It's perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. As it’s located in a rather remote area, there isn’t much in the immediate surroundings, and activities are quite limited unless you're willing to travel out to the main city, which is about an hour’s drive away. However, the villa itself more than makes up for it — beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully maintained. What really stands out is the level of service from the staff. They are prompt, attentive, and very responsive, especially when it comes to communication through messaging apps. If you’re in need of a peaceful short getaway to unwind and recharge, this place is definitely worth considering.
