IInvitéThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

Very helpful and generous staff who even thoughtfully offered 2 extra towels when they saw us taking a swim in the pool(: also has free kayaking at high tide and cockle picking activity at low tide -even though we were not very successful, had fun looking at the little fishes and crabs in the small rock pools and sparkling clear water. Breakfast was generous to say the least and the rest of the menu had local offerings with an authentic spicy kick to it. Overall a great value stay with a welcoming ambience, an inviting getaway.

IInvitéNous avons trouvé ce beau lieu sur notre tour de vélo de deux jours par le père et le fils de l'Ouest de Bintan, et nous avons aimé le camp de type ferme, ample, situé entre les collines et les savannes, avec la terre rouge et les palmiers verts éternels de Bintan. La zone de réception est déjà ouverte et amicale, et vous regardez dans un monde très agréable et bienvenu. Le propriétaire a établi que c'est un centre de formation et d'apprentissage durable pour les jeunes, tout en offrant des activités magnifiques et bien intégrées pour les familles, les enfants et les groupes. Nous avons séjourné dans l'une des maisons de relâchement adjacentes à l'un des petits lacs et de relaxation, et mon 5e fils aimait chaque pouce de cela. La cuisine est très délicieusement légèrement épicée, la cafetière est italienne, le petit déjeuner offre un choix de deux menus qui vous permet de ne pas choisir mal. Yanu a été très favorable à l'ingénierie d'un kite et nous a aidé à le faire voler (même en dehors de son tour). En tant que cyclistes naturels, nous avons aimé les routes vides et petites, à travers le camp, donc nous avons même eu un moment merveilleux de faire des vélos jusqu'à la Lagoon bleue (1h). Le Bintan Ferry prend des vélos pour le transport, donc faites 6-seater cabines à Singapour. Je peux fortement recommander cet endroit pour tout plan d'évacuation de la grande ville et pour tous les fans de la nature.

IInvitéAfter reading some reviews about Agro Hotel Bintan, I decided to stay there since it was close to the dive center where I planned on diving, the sea view room was very large, newly remodeled, and very clean. Hotel staff are very helpful, specifically Yuni, she is always greeting guests with a smile and answered all my questions. The included breakfast was good, different varieties of food to suit all visitors, my only small dislike was the food at the two restaurants there, food always came out semi cold and not very tasty. I will definitely stay there again.

SShiju JohnAmazing place to stay if you need to just relax and recharge in the calm. Just idle time sitting in the patio of your sea view villa and enjoy looking at the sea or walking by the beach collecting sea shells and finding baby mud crabs inside of the sea shells. It was not our first time staying at Mayang Sari or one of the other Nirwana properties. Hence, the smiling staff with their impeccable service levels is never a surprise but always a pleasure. Mayang Sari has its own restaurant, the Deli Cafe, where you can get local and western delicacies and drinks. The property has an Indian restaurant, Spice, which is a 5 minute walk from Mayang Sari, and Nirwana also has its own restaurant. They have a pick and drop shuttle from the ferry terminal, which makes it very convenient. Just a call put that this is Lagoi, so please don't expect to have malls around, and the city centre falls in the Tanjung Pinang area.

IInvitéI was glad to have chosen Nite & Day Laguna Hotel. Firstly, due to its location from the ferry terminal and mere walking distance, being arrived late afternoon. Secondly, its located nicely near the Taman Gurindam 12, a nice park for sunrise and sunset! The mosque is near as well. It's worth mentioning the helpful services by the hotel staff (especially Mas Tito!), the Aroma Laut Resto food is enjoyable. Keep it up and I would for sure stay here again in the near future. Bintan has become my favorite place to go now. By the way, I love the elevator design!

HHenry ZawGlobalement, le Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan offre un séjour correct, surtout si vous voyagez en famille et recherchez un bon rapport qualité-prix.
Le point fort de l'hôtel a été la chambre elle-même. Nous l'avons trouvée spacieuse, bien entretenue et confortable, offrant un espace généreux pour tous. La salle de bain était également très bien : propre et fonctionnelle. Compte tenu du prix, la qualité de l'hébergement nous a semblé très raisonnable.
Cependant, quelques points pourraient être améliorés. Bien que l'hôtel dispose d'un bar et d'un restaurant sur le toit, nous l'avons trouvé nettement cher. Il est conseillé de prévoir un budget en conséquence si vous prévoyez d'y dîner ou d'y boire un verre fréquemment. Le petit-déjeuner inclus dans le séjour n'était malheureusement pas très impressionnant, manquant de variété et de qualité par rapport à ce que nous aurions pu espérer.
Quant à l'emplacement, c'est un peu mitigé. L'hôtel est proche de la baie de Lagoi, mais nous avons trouvé que l'eau de la plage voisine n'était pas particulièrement propre lors de notre visite. Il est également important de noter que l'hôtel est assez éloigné des principaux centres-villes comme Tanjung Pinang. L'accès aux restaurants et commerces locaux nécessite donc un transport et une planification.
Le personnel était globalement correct : il a répondu aux demandes avec efficacité, mais ne s'est pas distingué par un service exceptionnel.
En résumé : le Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan est un choix judicieux si vous recherchez une chambre spacieuse et confortable à un prix raisonnable, idéale pour les familles. Cependant, préparez-vous à des prix potentiellement élevés au restaurant sur le toit, à un petit-déjeuner basique, à une plage peu propice à la baignade et à un emplacement relativement isolé. Si vous maîtrisez vos attentes en matière de restauration et d'emplacement, l'hôtel peut constituer un pied-à-terre agréable pour votre séjour à Bintan.

J'avais la fenêtre ouverte 24/7 et parce que j'ai séjourné 11 nuits j'ai acheté une chambre de déodorise pour essayer et réduire la mousse. J'avais aussi besoin de nettoyer la moule et le moulin de la boue des ailes et du verre de douche. Mon chambre a besoin de rénovation. Le tapis doit être remplacé par un sol dur. Les urnishings sont datés. Le restaurant est grand, mais le menu est insuffisant. Très peu d'options végétariennes.

Mmarie louise oi lengExcellent location away from the usual water parks and tourists. The resort is only an hr from the ferry terminal, for an additional fee, they can arrange pickup/drop off. The room is way better than the photos advertised. Every amenity you can think of is available including insect repellent cream. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to nature. There are a few species of kingfishers, sandpipers and swifts, raptors, etc just to name a few. The main highlight of this place is when the tide is low, you can walk out and go fish hunting, spot different species of crabs, and mudskippers, etc. Since it is a mangrove beach, inevitably there are sandflies so it's important to cover up when heading to the beach. The staff are friendly and food is amazing. I will be back again hopefully in the near future.

Wwondrous lifeThis resort offers a truly unique and serene experience, tucked away in a secluded part of Bintan. It's perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. As it’s located in a rather remote area, there isn’t much in the immediate surroundings, and activities are quite limited unless you're willing to travel out to the main city, which is about an hour’s drive away. However, the villa itself more than makes up for it — beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully maintained. What really stands out is the level of service from the staff. They are prompt, attentive, and very responsive, especially when it comes to communication through messaging apps. If you’re in need of a peaceful short getaway to unwind and recharge, this place is definitely worth considering.
