The hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish. Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner. However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top. In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

Amazing place to stay if you need to just relax and recharge in the calm. Just idle time sitting in the patio of your sea view villa and enjoy looking at the sea or walking by the beach collecting sea shells and finding baby mud crabs inside of the sea shells. It was not our first time staying at Mayang Sari or one of the other Nirwana properties. Hence, the smiling staff with their impeccable service levels is never a surprise but always a pleasure. Mayang Sari has its own restaurant, the Deli Cafe, where you can get local and western delicacies and drinks. The property has an Indian restaurant, Spice, which is a 5 minute walk from Mayang Sari, and Nirwana also has its own restaurant. They have a pick and drop shuttle from the ferry terminal, which makes it very convenient. Just a call put that this is Lagoi, so please don't expect to have malls around, and the city centre falls in the Tanjung Pinang area.

Tout a été très bien mais s'il vous plaît apprendre à transmettre un message ”non” à votre client plutôt que de rester tactique. Nous avons demandé un check-in précoce lorsque le ferry a débarqué à 12 h. Le concierge nous a dit qu'il était soumis à la disponibilité. Ils essayeront de nettoyer la chambre rapidement. Nous attendions près de 3 heures, 15 minutes avant le check-in officiel en temps utile pour obtenir la chambre. Mais nous avons noté que les unités voisines étaient vides.. et en raison de la faible occupation, le petit déjeuner était ala-carte au lieu du buffet.

Pros: Kids club and kid-friendly pool/water play were great. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and amenities were provided. There’s also a gym and massage service available. Cons: Very poor soundproofing — could hear people talking and laughing from the street. Hotel was under maintenance and felt rundown. Floor felt sticky and not clean, room was stuffy with mosquitoes, and air-conditioning was not cooling even at 18°C. Bathroom was not kid-friendly. Massage was done in a regular hotel room with no music or ambience, making it uncomfortable. Reception staff were generally friendly, except during check-in. I was asked to provide proof for an issue that was not my mistake, which made the experience unpleasant. Overall: Good facilities for kids, but cleanliness, maintenance, air-conditioning, and check-in experience need improvement.

L'hôtel est très bien. L'environnement et les installations sont très bien. L'inconvénient est qu'il y a trop d'huile de silicone sur la plage. J'ai pris quelques photos et j'ai marché sur l'huile. Heureusement, le service de l'hôtel était très bon. Le serveur est allé dans la chambre pour aider à nettoyer. Nous sommes très satisfaits du service de l'hôtel ! Nous avons vécu dans des villas et des maisons de plage. C'est vraiment cosy et reposant ! Ce que je veux suggérer en particulier, c'est si la nourriture chinoise peut être rendue plus délicieuse, comme les restaurants de fondue... il y a trop peu d'ingrédients... J'espère que l'hôtel pourra être de mieux en mieux, car nous vivons à Singapour, nous ira souvent en vacances, et attendons avec impatience la prochaine fois Nouveau sentiment!

It rained at night and the walls are wet in the inside. Beddings sheets time for new ones. White beddings are not looking bright white. Overall still ok with the good price. Bfast menu been the same for many years. 😊 still happy with the stay

Ce qui devrait être un séjour de 1 nuit tourner vers 2 nuits séjour! Parce que ma fille aime le lieu ... Recommandez fréquemment notre conducteur pour toutes les 2 nuits de grands cris à lui parce qu'il est vraiment bon et nous amène à ce que nous voulons pour nos activités .... Il vit trop loin du terminal de ferry, mais il vaut la peine ... Les scènes sont toutes Le personnel est très efficace et respectable. Pour prendre note, il n'y a pas de plats à proximité mais il y a un petit magasin convenable et dis à la réception et ils vont nous obtenir un chauffeur pour aller gratuitement ... Comme nous avons prolongé notre séjour, ils nous aident à contacter le terminal de ferry mais nous devons y aller et payer la redevance de reboque ... Et le petit déjeuner était bon aussi ... Il sera certainement de retour et reste à cet hôtel. Les Ps à la direction, il sera bon que vous puissiez fournir une micro-ondes puisque parfois nous achetons des aliments plus tôt et nous transmettons comme pas de plats à proximité. Kudos à l'équipe là pour un séjour excellent et agréable.

Families first time to this place very nice to relax. So thankful who fetch us Tedi (martedi) very kind , good service and pleasant. To manger Hardi first assist us very clear to explain so helpful, kind, good service and friendly. Nur who smiling face. Good ambience and relaxing. Breakfast good complete. My kids love it especially egg prata but our last day prata over cook,(sad),cannot service . The best snorkelling we recommend this water sport. Everything perfect except to shower so little water come out and cannot control heat . Cleaning of room Okay everyday cleaning but never wash the cups. And never give shower gel and shampoo. Overall relax and wonderful experience. We will come back here hope got changed for shower.

Location is a slightly out of the way as compared to the bintan resorts area, but not an issue if you hire private charter for the day. The resort pods are very new and uses great technology. Love waking up to the amazing view!

Terima kasih banyak kepada kedua staf hotel yang telah menjaga tas saya. Di dalam tas ada paspor, kartu bank, dan banyak uang tunai. Mereka menjaganya selama tiga jam. Jika tas saya hilang, saya bahkan tidak bisa kembali ke Tiongkok. Terima kasih kepada kedua karyawan yang jujur ini. Ini adalah perjalanan paling beruntung yang pernah saya alami.
