However, upon arrival I was assigned a room on the first floor facing a dark, rundown alley—nothing like the images. The bathroom also didn’t match the photos: it was much smaller, with virtually no counter space. When I raised this with the hotel, I was told I hadn’t booked a “Premium room with view.” At the time of booking, my only options were: a cheaper “Deluxe,” a more expensive “Premium,” and a “Suite.” As a guest, I relied on the photos shown for the Premium category, which all featured a view. The mismatch felt misleading. I asked about changing rooms, but was told the hotel was fully booked and that they had already given me a “larger” room of 20 m². The stated size range for the Premium room is 18–23 m², so this didn’t resolve the core issue—the lack of the view shown in the photos. After persistent requests, I was offered a second-floor room in another building without an elevator. That room had a larger bathroom but a smaller bedroom, and the window opened directly onto exhaust vents. It wasn’t a viable alternative. Overall, this was a disappointing experience for a five-star property. While staff were polite in manner, the room assignment and photo discrepancy felt misleading, and there was no practical solution offered despite the hotel being aware of the issue. To add to the frustration, I later noticed my luggage had been dented. In summary: the Premium room I received did not match the advertised images—especially the view and bathroom—and the lack of clear labeling (e.g., “with view” vs. “no view”) led to unmet expectations. I hope the hotel updates its listings to accurately reflect room types and views so future guests can book with confidence.

The building itself may not stand out from the outside, but once you step in, it has a lovely modern design and welcoming feel. I originally booked a twin room, but due to some changes, I ended up travelling solo. The receptionist was very helpful and offered to change my booking to a double room instead, which I really appreciated. The room was comfortable and smelled beautiful the moment I walked in, with that lovely Florence-style diffuser scent. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at c-hotels Club Florence and appreciated the thoughtful service.

Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

Installations : relativement récentes, avec système de contrôle intelligent. La première chambre m'a été donnée au sixième étage. Elle était reliée au toit et ne semblait pas en sécurité, et il y avait beaucoup de bruit venant du dernier étage (je pensais que c'était le bruit d'une tour de refroidissement ou d'un moteur), donc J'ai changé pour une chambre au troisième étage. La protection contre la foudre est au sixième étage. Il n'y a que deux pièces au sixième étage, 601 et 602. Propreté : il y avait des insectes morts sur l'oreiller dans la première chambre. Nous sommes allés à la réception et ils m'ont changé pour une autre chambre, ce qui était plutôt bien. Service : plutôt sympa. Petit déjeuner : très délicieux ! ! ! C'était très riche et m'a fait pardonner ma précédente erreur de vestiaire. Localisation : À environ 800 mètres de la gare, soit une dizaine de minutes à pied, ce qui est un peu gênant. L'avantage c'est que c'est plus sûr que l'hôtel à la gare.

Avec des réductions allant jusqu'à 25% et d'autres avantages divers, répertoriés sur leur site Web. Je suis resté un mois donc je peux donner un avis complet, je pense. J'ai essayé les chambres à 4 et 6 lits, structurées sur des lits superposés de bonne facture, tout en acier. Matelas confortables, la seule chose est que le revêtement est un peu visqueux et fait du bruit même la nuit, mais ce n'est pas beaucoup. J'ai trouvé les chambres à 4 lits meilleures (très spacieuses, celles à droite en sortant des ascenseurs numéros X01 -X10, X est le numéro de l'étage). Les deux types de chambres disposent de salles de bains privées. Les plus grandes disposent de deux salles de bain, l'une avec douche et lavabo, l'autre avec lavabo et WC, mais pas de bidet. Intelligemment très confortable étant 4 sur 6 si celui avec la douche est occupé on peut facilement passer à l'autre pour maximiser le temps. La structure dispose de 7 étages, plus un étage -1, où se trouve la grande salle à manger servie, la cuisine où les invités peuvent cuisiner eux-mêmes, des toilettes et plus encore. Ce n'est pas parfait, il y a quelques petits défauts ici et là, répartis dans divers secteurs plus souvent à cause de clients impolis que de la structure, mais dans l'ensemble je le recommande absolument. J'ai passé un bon moment, aussi parce que le personnel est compétent, poli, toujours disponible pour résoudre les problèmes du client. Je remercie le directeur de l'établissement de m'avoir traité avec des gants blancs dès le début et d'avoir réglé les litiges avec d'autres usagers qui étaient locataires de mes mêmes chambres pour des raisons d'impolitesse. La gare Firenze S.M.N sort par la sortie de droite. Il y a un escalier droit qui descend du premier étage du train. Ensuite, il y a une petite fontaine sur la droite. Vous pouvez la contourner pour éviter de porter de gros bagages et monter. les marches. Traverser un tramway en face, puis marcher sur la gauche. Avancer environ 50 mètres, tourner à gauche, et à environ 20 mètres, l'arrêt de bus se trouve juste en face du C-Hotel Joy, ce qui est très facile. trouver. L'employée de la réception, Alessandra, était très chaleureuse et prévenante. Elle a indiqué en détail les attractions célèbres et les délicieux restaurants autour d'elle sur la carte. Peu de temps après être entrée dans la chambre, elle a appelé pour lui demander si elle était satisfaite de la chambre et si elle avait besoin d'autre chose. C'était tellement attentionné ! La chambre a un style artistique unique et est très confortable. Il pleut à Florence ces jours-ci🌧️ Alors que nous prenions l'ascenseur et nous préparions à sortir, une dame enthousiaste a pris l'initiative de nous saluer, voyant que nous n'avions pas apporté de parapluie, elle a sorti un parapluie de son sac. Nous l'avons utilisée. Il s'est avéré qu'elle était femme de ménage à l'hôtel et nous ne l'avions jamais rencontrée auparavant. C'est vraiment réconfortant de se rencontrer et de proposer de l'aide, merci ~. Nous sommes partis très tôt et la réception nous a aidé à organiser une boîte de petit-déjeuner à emporter sur la route ~^_^ Nous reviendrons ici la prochaine fois~.

Hotel overall is okay for a 3 star. Employees were always friendly. Free parking and if full, hotel as a old garage underneath which it was where we parked. Breakfast was okay also for a 3 star hotel. Amenities nothing to be honest, on our room we had some stuff broken also… could get some refurbishment. And also, it is not a queen bed, it was two single beds close to each other… with no top mattress anything…

Excellent location, excellente location, traitement et service pour tout le personnel, en particulier pour le récepteur qui est le matin et qui sait parler espagnol. Son amabilité et son attention : exceptionnellement, celui qui a une piscine, même si elle est petite, pour se faire un chapeau surtout en été, avec la chaleur qu'il fait, est un point important à prendre en considération. Et même si je l'ai lu que vous ne vous aviez pas dit qu'il n'y avait pas d'ascenseur et que de nombreux cas, comme nous, vous envoient au deuxième étage avec de nombreuses escaliers, c'est vrai, mais ils vous montent aussi et vous descendent vos valises. Je répéterai certainement dans cet hôtel lors de mon prochain voyage à Florence .

Les espaces communs, comme le hall et le salon, sont accueillants et offrent un espace confortable pour se détendre après une journée de visites. Le personnel de l'Anglo American Hotel mérite des éloges. Dès mon arrivée, ils se sont montrés sympathiques, professionnels et attentionnés. Ils étaient toujours prêts à répondre à toutes mes questions et demandes, et leurs connaissances locales et leurs recommandations ont été précieuses pour m'aider à explorer la ville et à découvrir des trésors cachés. Ma chambre était spacieuse et bien aménagée. Le lit était confortable et les équipements, dont une télévision à écran plat et un minibar, répondaient à mes attentes. La propreté et l'ordre de la chambre ont été maintenus tout au long de mon séjour grâce à la diligence du personnel d'entretien. Bien que l'hôtel ne dispose pas de restaurant, il propose un délicieux petit-déjeuner buffet chaque matin. Le choix était varié et adapté à tous les goûts et préférences alimentaires. J'ai particulièrement apprécié les viennoiseries fraîchement sorties du four et la sélection de fromages et de charcuteries locaux. L'absence de salle de sport ou de spa au sein de l'hôtel a été un léger bémol. Le personnel a toutefois été très serviable et a fourni des informations sur les salles de sport et les options de bien-être à proximité, s'assurant que les clients puissent y accéder s'ils le souhaitaient. En résumé, mon séjour à l'Anglo American Hotel Florence a été une expérience agréable. L'emplacement privilégié, le personnel attentionné et le confort des chambres ont contribué à un séjour mémorable dans cette belle ville. Si l'absence de certains équipements a été un léger inconvénient, elle n'a pas eu d'impact significatif sur ma satisfaction globale. Je recommanderais l'hôtel Anglo American aux voyageurs à la recherche d'un hôtel bien situé au centre de Florence, bien aménagé et doté d'une ambiance charmante.

I was there with my wife for 7 days-6 nights. The location is great, we used it as a base for our daily trips by car. The Apartment was ok, the water in the bathroom sink couldnt go throught fast, which was not that nice. The reception in the night shaft was very kind and friendly. The reception in the day shaft was very uncomfortable, he discussed every single word you said and never try to solve your problems in an easy way. As we checked in, the night shaft told us after we have asked that we could get 1 time free cleaning cause we are staying for 7 days. I told the day reception one day before, and the day after we called and asked when they are comming? The answers were like you are asking a politician why he lost in his elections. Welllll we dont knoww, maybe 10, maybe 3pm, we said sir we want to go out, we dont want to do that before we close our door and be sure that no body is comming. Again he started to philosophize every single explanation. Alot of other examples. In general, the employee can be a problem solver, or making it more complicated. Te kind thing was that i asked him to print me two papers, he did (after telling me to go to the website and search for their email during he has a business card in his hands). The breakfast for extra 12 euro per person was not good, unhealthy, and very very simple and cheap. Not even a fresh juice (juice machine full with sugar instead). First day not any kind of egg, we asked why, they said it is sunday we didnt get egg! Only mini croissants, mini butter, jam, toast, bread, little of salad leaves, if you dont catch the first dish of fresh tomato, you will not see it again. I would not pay more than 5 euro for this breakfast. The place itself was very calm, green, big, and beautiful. It is on the top of the mountain, you have a wonderful restaurant nearby, nice area to walk throught. Good connected to the highway (8-10 minutes to the highway). The gym was very old and neglected. The pool was closed as we we were there.
