A Hidden Gem in Tuscany – Truly Special We absolutely loved our stay at I Parigi Corbinelli Residenze. This place is truly something special. The residence itself is a charming historic property that has been passed down through generations since the 1500s, and you can feel that beautiful sense of heritage the moment you arrive. The entire compound is incredibly gorgeous, peaceful, and full of character — it feels like a private Tuscan retreat. We arrived later than the official check-in time, but the owner was extremely kind and welcoming. He even called his son to come and help check us in despite the late hour. That level of hospitality really touched us. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The hot water was excellent, the heating system worked perfectly, and we had a beautiful terrace to enjoy the surroundings. Everything felt cozy yet elegant. One of the highlights is the garden and breakfast area. Breakfast is simple but perfect — everything you need for a wonderful start to the day, and enjoying it while looking out over the peaceful garden made the morning feel magical. Another big plus is the very safe parking inside the property, which gave us great peace of mind while traveling. Honestly, the value for money here is incredible. The price they charge is almost underrated for such a beautiful place — it truly deserves more recognition. We also loved that there is a resident dog who played with our dog, which made the stay even more special for us. If our itinerary hadn’t been so packed, we would absolutely have stayed another night. This place is the perfect Tuscan getaway, and we will definitely return next time we are in the area. Il est un peu loin du centre-ville mais très belles chambres avec cuisine. Il y a une belle piscine extérieure et le système de chauffage sera bientôt installé. Bon transport public à Florence. Très gentils personnes. Veuillez vous assurer de réserver la table pour le dîner pour éviter de décevoir, car il n'y a pas d'autre restaurant à proximité à pied.

Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

Notre séjour à l'hôtel Grifone s'est très bien passé. La chambre était spacieuse, confortable et propre, avec même un balcon. L'accès à notre chambre était un peu compliqué (deux ascenseurs/escaliers différents séparés par un couloir), mais lors de notre première visite, un membre du personnel nous a gentiment indiqué le chemin. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié les eaux aromatisées, les thés, les en-cas et les mimosas offerts dans le hall : une agréable surprise. L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier résidentiel, donc très calme la nuit. Il faut compter environ 25 minutes en bus pour s'y rendre depuis la vieille ville, mais les bus sont relativement réguliers (les indications aux arrêts étaient parfois erronées ; les bus avaient souvent du retard). Signora Helena, de l'équipe du petit-déjeuner, était vraiment la personne la plus adorable que nous ayons rencontrée pendant nos deux semaines de voyage en Italie. Elle nous accueillait toujours avec un sourire et son service était impeccable (elle se souvenait que nous prenions du yaourt tous les matins et nous en apportait spontanément dès le troisième jour, elle s'est renseignée sur le café que nous souhaitions, et bien plus encore !). Nous l'avons vraiment adorée, et sa présence égayait nos matins ! Le personnel de la réception était également excellent : très professionnel, il a répondu avec aisance à toutes nos questions sur Florence et l'hôtel.

Installations : relativement récentes, avec système de contrôle intelligent. La première chambre m'a été donnée au sixième étage. Elle était reliée au toit et ne semblait pas en sécurité, et il y avait beaucoup de bruit venant du dernier étage (je pensais que c'était le bruit d'une tour de refroidissement ou d'un moteur), donc J'ai changé pour une chambre au troisième étage. La protection contre la foudre est au sixième étage. Il n'y a que deux pièces au sixième étage, 601 et 602. Propreté : il y avait des insectes morts sur l'oreiller dans la première chambre. Nous sommes allés à la réception et ils m'ont changé pour une autre chambre, ce qui était plutôt bien. Service : plutôt sympa. Petit déjeuner : très délicieux ! ! ! C'était très riche et m'a fait pardonner ma précédente erreur de vestiaire. Localisation : À environ 800 mètres de la gare, soit une dizaine de minutes à pied, ce qui est un peu gênant. L'avantage c'est que c'est plus sûr que l'hôtel à la gare.

Hotel indigo is located within 6-8mins walk from the Firenze Centrale Station which makes travelling to other cities and town easily accessible. About 15-20mins walk to places of interest like Duomo and Ponte Vecchio with many restaurants and shops along the way. Modern and Comfortable beds with quiet backyard views,away from road noise although it is located along a small stretch of road especially for trams. We are able to catch a distance view of the duomo from our hotel room. Overall we had a pleasant stay and a great vacation in Florence.

Les enfants adorent, il y a des piscines et des espaces pour enfants, c'est très adapté aux familles avec enfants en vacances. Il y a un supermarché dans le camp où vous pouvez acheter de la nourriture et la cuisiner vous-même. Il y a également une buanderie, une location de vélos et une riche vie de divertissement. Bien qu'il soit loin de la ville, il y a des bus à la porte qui vont directement au centre-ville. C'est aussi très pratique.

L'environnement de l'hôtel est correct, il y a pas mal de monde et c'est un peu loin du centre-ville. L'attitude du service est plutôt bonne. La plupart des hôtels européens n'ont pas de pantoufles ni de brosses à dents, vous devez donc apporter les vôtres.

Excellent location, excellente location, traitement et service pour tout le personnel, en particulier pour le récepteur qui est le matin et qui sait parler espagnol. Son amabilité et son attention : exceptionnellement, celui qui a une piscine, même si elle est petite, pour se faire un chapeau surtout en été, avec la chaleur qu'il fait, est un point important à prendre en considération. Et même si je l'ai lu que vous ne vous aviez pas dit qu'il n'y avait pas d'ascenseur et que de nombreux cas, comme nous, vous envoient au deuxième étage avec de nombreuses escaliers, c'est vrai, mais ils vous montent aussi et vous descendent vos valises. Je répéterai certainement dans cet hôtel lors de mon prochain voyage à Florence .

I was there with my wife for 7 days-6 nights. The location is great, we used it as a base for our daily trips by car. The Apartment was ok, the water in the bathroom sink couldnt go throught fast, which was not that nice. The reception in the night shaft was very kind and friendly. The reception in the day shaft was very uncomfortable, he discussed every single word you said and never try to solve your problems in an easy way. As we checked in, the night shaft told us after we have asked that we could get 1 time free cleaning cause we are staying for 7 days. I told the day reception one day before, and the day after we called and asked when they are comming? The answers were like you are asking a politician why he lost in his elections. Welllll we dont knoww, maybe 10, maybe 3pm, we said sir we want to go out, we dont want to do that before we close our door and be sure that no body is comming. Again he started to philosophize every single explanation. Alot of other examples. In general, the employee can be a problem solver, or making it more complicated. Te kind thing was that i asked him to print me two papers, he did (after telling me to go to the website and search for their email during he has a business card in his hands). The breakfast for extra 12 euro per person was not good, unhealthy, and very very simple and cheap. Not even a fresh juice (juice machine full with sugar instead). First day not any kind of egg, we asked why, they said it is sunday we didnt get egg! Only mini croissants, mini butter, jam, toast, bread, little of salad leaves, if you dont catch the first dish of fresh tomato, you will not see it again. I would not pay more than 5 euro for this breakfast. The place itself was very calm, green, big, and beautiful. It is on the top of the mountain, you have a wonderful restaurant nearby, nice area to walk throught. Good connected to the highway (8-10 minutes to the highway). The gym was very old and neglected. The pool was closed as we we were there.
