La nourriture et le service étaient excellents et la chambre est parfaitement propre, le seul c'est quand je suis arrivé, le hall de l'hôtel était super chaud, pas une seule climatisation n'était allumée, je dirais, j'ai passé 10 à 15 bonnes minutes à attendre dans le lobby car j'ai également dû remplir des formulaires pour mon séjour. Mais à part ça tout était parfait

The only word i can describe is that it is spectacular. The buffet breakfast was one of the best i have ever seen. So much variety. The room is clean and big. However, the carpet along the corridor kinda smells moist/ musty smell. Other than that, i really have nothing to pick on. Everyone is so helpful and kind. I had a fall and wanted somthing to help me clean my wound. The front desk sent up a nurse to make sure i am alright. There is always someone greeting you at every point of the hotel, so welcoming. Definitely will come back here again.

This visit to Marco Polo truly saddened me. If you read some of my past reviews of this hotel I noted it was my favorite place to stay anywhere in the world. This was my first post Covid visit and I was shocked and disappointed. - Basic maintenance has not been completed. For example, there is a glass elevator that goes to Blu their rooftop restaurant. This elevator was out of order and when I asked why I was told “Covid.” Covid travel restrictions were lifted a long time ago and that’s no excuse. In a second example, we returned to our room after a long night and the key did not work. It turned out the battery in the electronic device on the door needed to be replaced and the front desk understand the issue immediately, so this must happen often. Good hotels replace these batteries on a schedule so the guests never suffer from dead batteries. - Service, which used to be outstanding?@, is now unacceptable. First, the English language skills of most employees we encountered were sub par. Second, the person who checked me in was being trained, so the check in process was very slow. Third, service at the poolside bar during lunch was slow, the waitstaff inattentive and they failed to include my banana shake on the bill so as we are leaving the grab us and give us a second bill to pay. Fourth, service at breakfast was terrible. I had to ask for black tea three times before I got it, seeking some out 3 times as no one ever came to check on us. When we arrived around 9 AM there was no bacon (later replenished with bacon that looked so bad I did not even try it, fatty and not crisp), there was 1 banana, which was never replenished, there were no juice glasses (later replenished). The food quality was adequate but not nearly up to pre-Covid standards. Overall the service was lacking. - I was also disappointed that the lobby lounge, which used to have live music every night now has piano music only and only 1 night per week I am told. - There was a cart of dirty linens in our hallway both days Some of these things are not expensive or hard to fix. It doesn’t cost a lot to have live music in the lounge nightly as there are lots of singers groups looking for opportunities. It doesn’t cost a lot to make sure you change door card batteries regularly Others are basic requirements if doing business. For example you don’t leave a glass elevator to one of the most expensive restaurants in Cebu out of order for month/years. I am purchasing a condo unit in Marco Polo residences and expected to regularly visit the hotel for meals/drinks, but if this is the quality and service we can expect, then I will not be utilizing their services.

Grande vue de la ville. La taille des chambres est supérieure à la moyenne, ce qui signifie plus grande que les autres chambres de luxe de la soie que nous avons été. Mixto resto est avec une vue magnifique mais il peut être facile à obtenir plein et recharge prend du temps, surtout le bacon. Il y a un accès direct au centre-ville, mais il n'y a pas beaucoup encore dans le centre-ville, mais les bases sont là. Ils ont interrompu notre sommeil pour une erreur. Nous étions endormis quand ils ont appelé à demander si nous sommes faits avec le fer et le tableau que nous avons demandé précédemment mais refusé parce qu'il n'y avait pas disponible. Nous reviendrons quand en ville.

I had a wonderful Christmas Hotel 2022 Staycation experience courtesy of the Main Hotel and Suites located in Barangay Banilad in the City of Cebu. This is my 21st Hotel-Resort-Farm-Campground Staycation in total here in Cebu since Christmas 2020. I instantly noticed most of their guests are foreign tourists. I easily feel the warmth the moment they welcomed me and I could feel at home away from home with their kind and accommodating staff like the  Housekeeping personnel, Irene Tolentino who carry my traveling bag to my standard queen room while having my vlogging, and Stanlee Montecalvo for the maintenance for something that needs to be fixed with Security Guard Jonathan Mendoza who act as my cameraman and delivered all my needs in the room. All these things are made possible by Front Office Associate Joyce Villanueva from the booking reservations up until our constant communication as she instantly answered all my queries and requests weeks before my stay. I got the biggest surprise when I was given that amazing Christmas gift hotel room upgrade on that Christmas morning when Front Office Associate Sheila Matuguina handed me the key for the Main Suite Room with a king-size bed, a sofa, a spacious shower & toilet, a personal refrigerator, a kettle, safety deposit box and has a small balcony overlooking the city view. I could still remember this beautiful serene Christmas night when I powered off all the lights while I was seating on top of my big king-size mattress with large soft pillows at my back and on my head while leaning on the wall. I was deeply mesmerized by the beauty of the city by night from the main suite room window. I couldn't imagine that I can have this kind of wonderful celebration on Christmas night blessed with good weather and a good climate. Two years ago, we were in quarantine and social distancing with strict protocol to follow brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, and a year ago, we are to deal with the devastating aftermath of super typhoon Odette without power, no water supply, limited supply of food, most houses were destroyed and several families were homeless. No wonder they have been awarded Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Award winning for consecutive years for the kind of service they have given me. With this track record, now I know the reason why travelers both local and foreign nationals choose to stay here because I, myself personally experience it.

During our last day in Cebu, my niece and I decided to look for a hotel with pool so we can swim and relax. We found Mandarin through Agoda. It costs is 2,800. We were so excited ... Checking in was seamless. The guy @ the reception didn't mention about the pool and we also forgot to ask. The room is spacious and clean. After resting for a few minutes we decided to go and check the pool. Outside our room we saw and asked the ”room service ” ladies where we could find the pool. They told us it's on the 3rd floor then added ”but it's closed ma'am. It was damaged by the typhoon Odette...” We were so disappointed! Location is great. It's near/ across Ayala Mall.

J'ai réservé une chambre pour 2 nuits pour mon gf et sa fille. Je sais que cela au-delà du contrôle des hôtels qu'ils n'ont pas d'équipements en raison du typhon Odette, mais j'ai réservé la chambre en comprenant qu'il y avait un gym et une piscine, dont aucun ne pouvait être fourni, C'était très décevant, Ma fille de la phase aime nager et mon GF voudrait qu'elle le fasse pour avoir un peu de temps pour elle-même. La fermeture de l'équipe était également une autre étape décevante, parce que mon gf voulait être en mesure de travailler et je réservais la chambre parce que ces installations ont été annoncées TP à la disposition. Le GF avait dit que la chambre était assez belle mais n'était pas nettoyée à aucun moment malgré la contactation de la réception à de nombreuses occasions et qu'elle était assurée que cela serait. La chambre était très confortable, mais elle n'a pas été réservée à la chambre. La location était bonne, mais, franchement, la plupart des autres étaient en dessous d'un bon niveau.

It was my first time sleeping at one of the condo rooms in Quest Hotel, and I've got to say: the room is really spacious and it even has complete kitchen equipment (such as a toaster, an oven, and a microwave). Not to mention, the room is comfortable to move around in. Wi-Fi works fast and the buffet was amazing. It was a wonderful experience for my cousins and I. Will come again next time. :)

Je lui donnerais un 3/5 pour mon séjour de 3 nuits! Les chambres étaient propres et tranquilles. Il est loin de la musique ou du bruit de quelque part. Les chambres sont nouvelles aussi. Il est bon marché pour vous obtenir ce que vous avez payé. Les membres du personnel du Front Desk peuvent être un peu plus accueillis pour être honnêtes. Ils vous regarderont quand vous passerez par la réception, surtout pendant le temps de la journée de l'après-midi, la fille et le gars et les deux gars du matin sont la personne la plus froide jamais. Ils ont besoin de l'expérience avec un sourire sincère et accueillant. Ils ont été très bien placés pour vous offrir un minibar ou une chaudière d'eau pour un café ou quelque chose.

The location of MJ Hotel & Suites was very convenient. It was only a short walking distance from a major mall (Ayala Mall) where food stores are abundant and ATM machines are easy to find. The hotel staff are helpful and quick to respond to room service requests. Particularly appreciated that when I first enter my room it smelled fresh and clean. I like it very much that there are sachets of service coffee available in the room along with a water heater. Cold drinking water is also free 24/7 because there is a service water dispenser on every floor. The room is spacious. For someone like me who travels for work, the best thing is a good wifi connection, and this hotel has it. A little bit of a downside is the lack of a working table lamp for some guests like myself who works at night on my laptop and needs sufficient lighting. But overall, this hotel is a good value for the money spent. Looking forward to staying again in MJ Hotel next time I will be in Cebu.
