Hôtels 2 étoiles à Glasgow

We checked into this hotel expecting the room to look like the photos advertised on their website. In reality, it did not. We were booked into Room 12 which is in the basement of the hotel. The room had a damp and musty smell. The bathroom door hit the edge of one of the beds when you opened and closed it. One of the teacups had tea stains in it. The window in the bathroom did not have a curtain and although there it was frosted, you could see the hotel workers sitting across the way when they were having their break. If you were taking a shower, they could probably see into the bathroom. There was mold in the bathroom shower stall. The worst thing in this room was the large emergency LED trouble light which was about 24 inches long and so bright it lit the room up like a neon sign when you were trying to sleep. To the hotel's credit, I talked to the owner and the maintenance person about how dissatisfied we were with the accommodation and the next morning we were switched to Room 103 on the main floor. They apologized for the inconvenience and the condition of Room 12. The room was much more spacious and the bathroom double the size. There was a large window in the room that opened on one side and the other side could be opened too but the handle to crank the window had broken and fallen onto the ground outside. The room looked out towards a lane and a row of garbage cans. There was still some mold in this shower stall but it was nowhere as bad as Room 12 in the basement. This hotel was booked fully the whole time we were there. I think the biggest draw for this hotel is the proximity to the Byres Road which is near the Botanic Gardens. It is located in the West End, which is lined with boutique shops, bakeries, pubs, and eateries. For the price we paid, it was definitely not worth it. I am shocked that it has had rave reviews but I guess the location trumps everything else. If you book this hotel, call them and try to avoid any rooms in the basement if you can. Also, this hotel does not have an elevator and if you have mobility issues, the stairs are quite steep.

Il est très bon de se rendre à l'hôtel, mais il est très bon de se rendre à l'hôtel. Le personnel était très agréable, mais plus de connaissances sur les routes de bus auraient été utiles compte tenu du nombre de villageois qui restent ici. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon. Le lit double a pris l'ensemble du bar de la chambre, mais ce n'était absolument pas un problème parce que je n'avais pas besoin d'espace. Il y avait une salle de bains et une salle de douche humide, une télévision, un miroir, une zone de penderie (pas un garde-robe plein mais il était absolument certain de ce que j'avais besoin). J'ai apprécié les touches supplémentaires intéressantes qui avaient été clairement considérées pour un espace compact comme le stockage sous le lit pour bagages, Wi-Fi gratuit, points de raccordement et interrupteurs de lumière par le lit et n'ayant que nettoyage et lit modifié sur demande Et pour un supplément, plutôt que d'être inclus dans trois coûts de la chambre quand il n'était pas vraiment nécessaire ou écologiquement consciente que j'avais seulement deux nuits de séjour. J'ai payé 25 £ par nuit à travers booking.com qui pour un centre-ville est excellent.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est un quartier calme, non loin du centre-ville, et il est pratique d'aller dans la rue piétonne. Le personnel de service est plus enthousiaste, le petit déjeuner est plus abondant et la variété est plus complète. Le robinet d'eau chaude et froide du lavabo de la salle de bain est séparé et peu utilisé. L'expérience globale est meilleure.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait, proche de n'importe où et très pratique. Gare routière, centre-ville, restaurant, bars, place St George, quartier commerçant tous accessibles à pied. Gare et centre commercial. La réception et le personnel sont sympathiques et très serviables

Perfectly located from Central Station with loads of pubs, cafés & restaurants within a 5 minute radius. Nearby shops to suit every taste& budget too. My only complaint was not realising there is no hairdryer in the room after I'd taken a fabulous shower & washed my hair. Luckily it was a nice warm day so my hair dried naturally reasonably quickly. We visited Bier Halle close by and loved it. We're already planning our next booking for this Travel lodge soon.

J'avais une chambre accessible très confortable lit superbe. La chambre humide est très belle et très grande et très bien pensée. Pas de bière de tap, mais les prix étaient une bonne sélection de cocktails et de boissons en ligne avec d'autres hôtels pubs ont trouvé des prix sur couple ou moins cher. Nous n'avons pas fait de petit déjeuner mais il est continental il y a beaucoup de places dans 2 minutes à pied si vous voulez un petit déjeuner cuit écossais. Nous avons été si impressionnés par la réservation avec la famille.
