An overall enjoyable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Amman, but there’s certainly room for improvement. Pros: - Rooms are enormous, and incredibly comfortable, with a good modern TV that allows streaming from your phone and a lovely rain shower. This really is the major highlight. - Legend’s bar is very fun. Cocktails may be a bit lacklustre, but the massive screens, live music, and golf and racing simulators more than make it a great bar. - The Lebanese restaurant was delicious, and definitely a great choice for dinner. - Breakfast when available is very solid but not amazing (see the cons for more info). - Hotel location is far from downtown, but next to all the other major hotels with good access to restaurants. - Staff are courteous and helpful for the most part. Cons: - The breakfast restaurant is far too small for the size of the hotel. I had breakfast paid for, but missed it twice due to the restaurant being full. This really needs to be amended because the hotel itself was not even full. If you cannot attend the capacity of your hotel, this is a deep issue. Breakfast was solid, but still it was small compared to other 5 star establishments. - New Year’s Eve was due to be the highlight of our stay, but we were left massively underwhelmed. We booked a table at Roberto’s, but despite being seated by 22:20, it took until 23:00 to get our appetisers, and we had not even had our main courses by the time the New Year came. This is unacceptable. - A small but necessary point, in general the cleaning was fine, but one day we returned to the hotel at 16:40 to find we still had not had our room made up. We had to request this. I expect far more from a 5 star establishment, and the fact that I’m not sure we would have received a cleaning without our request is concerning. Overall, I’m happy with my stay. I still think the Ritz-Carlton Amman is probably the best hotel choice in Amman, but it leaves a lot to be desired. My review and rating reflects how I feel based on competing hotels in the area.

Nous avons réservé cet hôtel pour un séjour agréable et relaxant pour notre dernière nuit à Amman et cela en valait vraiment la peine. Après la sécurité à la réception, nous avons senti que tout le personnel que nous avons rencontré allait au-delà de nos attentes. Ce qui est bizarre à propos de l'enregistrement, c'est qu'ils nous ont demandé d'écrire nos noms et une chose que nous avons aimée : j'ai écrit du fromage et ma femme a écrit des oreillers confortables et quand nous sommes rentrés dans notre chambre après notre visite à Amman, il y avait un plateau de fromages. et un oreiller très confortable pour ma femme. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps au bord de la piscine sur les grandes banquettes-lits. Nous avons également passé du temps dans l'espace spa où vous pourrez utiliser les jacuzzis et les hammams. Ils ont également de très belles et grandes douches dans les vestiaires du spa. La salle de sport de l'hôtel dispose également de nouveaux équipements intéressants. Les chambres étaient joliment aménagées avec des lits très confortables, une insonorisation, des placards cachés, un mini-réfrigérateur sympa, des connexions technologiques et une télévision sur laquelle vous pouvez diffuser du contenu, entre autres fonctionnalités. Nous avons passé une bonne nuit de sommeil ici. La nourriture à l'hôtel est plutôt bonne et il existe de nombreuses options saines. Nous avons apprécié la soupe aux lentilles qui était servie avec une montagne de choix de pains pour le service en chambre. Nous avons également trouvé de nombreuses bonnes options au petit-déjeuner, notamment des eaux détox, toutes sortes de jus de fruits, une bonne sélection de plats chauds au buffet et tout le reste. Ce fut un excellent séjour et nous le recommandons si vous avez envie de faire des folies !

C'était ma première nuit à Amman. Il était déjà minuit à notre arrivée. J'avais choisi un hôtel abordable, mais je me suis rendu compte que pour un peu plus de 1 200 £, je ne pouvais pas trouver un bon hôtel. Le Hilton est plutôt un hôtel d'affaires haut de gamme. Mais la chambre était petite, 28 mètres carrés, et un peu exiguë. La lunette des toilettes était coincée même porte ouverte. La sécurité était également extrêmement stricte, et pas seulement à l'entrée. Ils ont pris mon adaptateur et mon câble de chargement d'ordinateur et m'ont dit qu'ils devaient les vérifier. Comme il était déjà minuit, je les ai appelés pour leur dire de ne pas me les rendre. Nous étions sur le point d'aller nous coucher. Ils ne m'ont pas rendu mes affaires. Juste au moment où je m'endormais, ils ont frappé à ma porte et m'ont donné un avis pour récupérer mes affaires, me disant de revenir le lendemain matin pour les échanger ! J'étais sans voix. Je ne suis resté qu'une nuit et j'ai décidé de déménager.

그동안 여행에서는 주로 힐튼 계열 호텔을 이용해 왔고, 이번 암만 일정에서도 처음부터 인터컨티넨탈 호텔을 염두에 두고 있던 것은 아니었습니다. 아시안 마트에서 장을 본 뒤 아카바로 이동해야 하는 동선상 위치가 가장 편리하다는 이유로 암만 인터컨티넨탈 호텔을 선택했고, 솔직히 말해 특별한 기대 없이 방문한 숙소였습니다. 그러나 호텔에 도착한 순간부터 그 선택은 완전히 다른 의미로 다가왔습니다. 27시간이 넘는 장거리 비행과 시차로 지친 상태였음에도 불구하고, IHG 멤버가 아님에도 오전 11시 조기 체크인을 세심하게 배려해 주었고, 덕분에 긴 여정의 피로를 객실에서 편안히 풀 수 있었습니다. 객실 업그레이드 또한 깊은 인상을 남겼습니다. 이러한 업그레이드는 언제나 제공되는 서비스가 아닌, 객실 상황과 호텔의 재량에 따라 이루어지는 배려임을 알고 있기에 그 감동은 더욱 컸습니다. 멤버십 여부와 관계없이 슈페리어 룸으로 안내받았고, 매일 정성스럽게 준비된 웰컴 과일과 다과는 이 호텔이 투숙객 한 사람 한 사람을 얼마나 세심하게 바라보고 있는지를 보여주었습니다. 조식 역시 기억에 남습니다. 조식당에서는 직접 파티쉐가 제과를 담당하고 있는 듯, 갓 구운 빵의 풍미와 완성도가 인상적이었고 아침 식사의 즐거움을 한층 더해주었습니다. 일부 신선 채소류는 현지의 식문화나 유통 환경의 특성 때문인지 자연스러운 상태로 제공되는 모습이 보였는데, 이는 불편함보다는 요르단이라는 지역적 특성을 이해하게 되는 소소한 관찰로 남았습니다. 이틀간의 조식 이용 시에도 할인 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 친절히 안내해 주었고, 이러한 일련의 경험은 오랜 기간 힐튼 아너스 멤버로만 머물러 있던 제가 IHG 멤버로 가입하게 만든 결정적인 계기가 되었습니다. 머무는 동안 Aga, Mahguacl, Wavcl 매니저를 비롯한 여러 직원분들께서 보여주신 진심 어린 응대 덕분에, 이 호텔에서의 기억은 암만이라는 도시 그 자체보다도 더 깊고 선명하게 남았습니다. 숙박을 넘어 ‘환대의 본질’을 경험한 시간이었습니다. 진심으로 투숙객을 맞이하는 암만 인터컨티넨탈 호텔의 모든 직원분들께 감사의 마음을 전합니다. 조용하고 안락한 휴식, 그리고 기대를 뛰어넘는 배려를 원한다면 이 호텔은 충분히 그 답이 되어줄 것입니다.

Hotel is good value with immaculate common area and a great gym. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Style of the room was a bit dated, especially the bathroom - although very clean.

Right from check-in, the staff made me feel welcome with their signature warm chocolate chip cookie 🍪 — such a simple touch, but it set the tone for a great stay. 🛏️ The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially cozy after a long day, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and restful. 🍽️ I had the chance to try the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of local and international choices. Fresh, flavorful, and plenty of options to start the day right. 📍 The location is convenient — close to restaurants, shops, and a good base to explore Amman. Most importantly, the hospitality of the staff stood out. The issue this hotel has many locations buildings at the same area and its not clear in which building you will stay and you have to run from one to another to find your building

Great stay with excellent service I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Amman and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The reception team were efficient at both check-in and check-out, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free. The room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable, offering a great blend of modern amenities and a relaxing ambience. I particularly appreciated the quality of the bedding, which ensured a restful night's sleep. The housekeeping team did an exceptional job of maintaining the room throughout my stay. Dining at the hotel was also a pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of international and local dishes, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The restaurant staff were courteous and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The hotel's location is another strong point - convenient for both business and leisure travellers. In addition, the facilities, including the fitness centre and swimming pool, were well maintained and added to the overall positive experience. Overall, the Mövenpick Hotel Amman is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the city. With its exceptional service, comfortable accommodation and convenient location, it certainly lives up to the Mövenpick standard. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.
