By far the best accommodation we have had on our trip so far, it would be almost impossible to beat. Everything was immaculately clean, yet cozy, comfortable and luxurious. The staff are to be commended on being friendly and professional at all times. There was need to evacuate the hotel due to a fellow guest’s misdemeanour but the staff were calm & clear with their instructions at all times. The food was amazing, my only regret was that my appetite couldn’t manage more it was delicious & beautifully presented.

Rae & Paul était chaleureux et amiable. L'hôtel était propre, avec des touches personnelles ajoutées. Ils ont même fourni un toit avec des serviettes de piscine à emprunter! L'emplacement était à quelques pas du cœur de la ville de Hanmer Springs. Rae a suggéré deux restaurants à haute demande. Nous avons réservé No.31 A-mazing!! Nous avons séjourné à plusieurs motels en attendant à Hanmer Springs et nous avons trouvé le meilleur hébergement jusqu'à présent. Nous avons dû recharger nos batteries et réserver un séjour de 5 nuits. L'appartement était grand, qui a fait pour 2 d'entre nous beaucoup de chambre à refroidir. Nous étions dans l'appartement 9 qui était le 2e étage à la fin qui donnait de grandes vues .Les meubles étaient tout très confortables et le lit très relaxant. Il y avait une cuisine complète qui était grande pour vous faire cuisiner ou juste utiliser les installations pour prendre des prises. La chose que nous aimions mieux était laver les toilettes complètes pour que vous puissiez aller aux piscines de Hanmer , revenir et immédiatement sècher votre appareil de natation. Le dernier jour nous pouvions laver et sècher les vêtements utilisés, donc vous n'avez pas à le faire quand vous rentrez chez vous, La salle de bains avait un bain spa élevé et la lave-hande,shampoo etc était très bon. Nous avions lu quand nous avions réservé les robes, mais nous n'avions pas trouvé les robes, alors ils ont été allés à la réception qui nous a dit que nous n'avions pas de problème si nous voulions les avoir, mais vous devriez les demander.Ils étaient luxueux, chauds et lourds. La location des appartements est parfaite pour le golf et les piscines, ainsi que la rue principale et les repas à proximité.

We had a friendly welcome after a long drive and the check in was quick and easy. There was even a complimentary bottle of milk. The accommodation was spotless, with a generous supply of towels, materials for hot drinks etc. The location lives up to its name, with a beautiful view of the snow topped mountains. It's also a short walk into the town for a meal or groceries.

The manager Sourab was very welcoming helpful and generous. He had helpful information about the town and eateries, was very kind to allow us access to a clothes drier as the motel one was having issues and generously went over and above his role to help us.. the motel was comfortable and clean close to town and the local pools and golf course, we have been here twice now and would highly recommend it. The restaurant next door also provides breakfast until 10am and midday and evening meals, the quality is good and fairly priced.

We were absolutely gutted with our stay at village lake this time. We have stayed here lots however this was by far the worst stay we’ve had. We booked 6 weeks before, and arrived at 4.30pm For checkin, to find our room had had the carpet cleaned. The chairs etc had not been put back and we’re just inside the doorway of our unit. Both bedrooms had all the furniture on top of the beds upside down. Once we got that sorted went to settle the kids in to find they didn’t have a bed for our 3rd child (whom we paid for of Course) when asked about the bed that wasn’t provided, got told by the manager that we have to pay an extra $40 for a trundler bed. Even though we had paid extra for each Of our 3 kids to stay with us. All the lights bar one tiny light worked and this was hanging by wires in the second room. No extra toilet paper to use but the roll on the holder. We also booked for 5, and they only provided us with 4 towels every single day they came to clean. We had to keep asking for more. The front door to our room didn’t lock properly. It appears to be locked however with a solid push the door still pops open, so the unit was not secure. We asked to have this looked at and nothing was done about it. We were charged premium 5 star pricing for our stay, and asked to pay up front which we did as we’ve never had a problem before. It absolutely was NOT up to 5 stars.

Le motel était l'un des meilleurs - il était parfait pour ce que vous avez besoin, et avec un budget réaliste et raisonnable à correspondre. Les toilettes sont prêtes pour prendre en emprunt à la piscine et retourner pour laver quand vous rentrez. La piscine est à 5 minutes à pied facile. Fantastique vélo stockage disponible et les hôtes étaient super ami et utile. La chambre était incroyablement propre. Il n'y a pas de lave-linge disponible mais il y a une rack de vêtements si vous avez des toits humides, etc. Lieu calme mais si proche des magasins et des plats de manger.

I took my daughter to Hanmer for a birthday treat. We decided to stay at the Hamner Springs hotel because it looks lovely from the outside. I’m afraid to say it was nothing like that on the inside! The first room they put us in on the top floor was dark and musty. We tried to open one of the doors in the room and the handle completely broke off. They then put us in room 108 on the bottom floor - it was sold to us as a king deluxe room. It was anything, but that besides, the room being tired the TV didn’t work, the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work. The shower pipe fell off the wall while I was showering and all the light switches were connected, so you could not turn off particular lights when you wanted. We ordered room service from the in-house restaurant. We had a seafood pasta, which was totally average. The Greek salad had no fetta or olives- when we complained, they return the salad with some sprinkled feta on the top. The whole thing was a total disappointment, the hotel is shabby and tired!. I gave it a two star rating because the staff were helpful and very friendly. Besides, that I would give this place a total miss so sad because I have stayed there in the past, and it was super.🥲

Popped up to Hanmer Springs for Easter. Been years since we visited ad golly the town has grown. Stayed up at Alpine Holiday Park (Use to be the old AA Motor Camp in the day). Couples trip with two camper buses and we took ot two dogs. We had a ball!! The hosts were very friendly, even to suggesting the best way for Evan to park his 11m bus and the two adjoining sites were both of a good size and were sunny. The toilets and showers were spotless, an there's no charge for the showers with ample hot water, and while we didn't use the the kitchens and family games room looked to be excellent. For those not camping or in campers there is a lodge accommodating up to 40 plus motel rooms/cabins. Children on site were well catered for with pedal carts and a decent sized play ground area. The camp is a wee distance out of town; no issue with an e-bike, but it makes up for that by being lovely and peaceful. Ideal for a long weekend break.

We were absolutely gutted with our stay at village lake this time. We have stayed here lots however this was by far the worst stay we’ve had. We booked 6 weeks before, and arrived at 4.30pm For checkin, to find our room had had the carpet cleaned. The chairs etc had not been put back and we’re just inside the doorway of our unit. Both bedrooms had all the furniture on top of the beds upside down. Once we got that sorted went to settle the kids in to find they didn’t have a bed for our 3rd child (whom we paid for of Course) when asked about the bed that wasn’t provided, got told by the manager that we have to pay an extra $40 for a trundler bed. Even though we had paid extra for each Of our 3 kids to stay with us. All the lights bar one tiny light worked and this was hanging by wires in the second room. No extra toilet paper to use but the roll on the holder. We also booked for 5, and they only provided us with 4 towels every single day they came to clean. We had to keep asking for more. The front door to our room didn’t lock properly. It appears to be locked however with a solid push the door still pops open, so the unit was not secure. We asked to have this looked at and nothing was done about it. We were charged premium 5 star pricing for our stay, and asked to pay up front which we did as we’ve never had a problem before. It absolutely was NOT up to 5 stars.

Popped up to Hanmer Springs for Easter. Been years since we visited ad golly the town has grown. Stayed up at Alpine Holiday Park (Use to be the old AA Motor Camp in the day). Couples trip with two camper buses and we took ot two dogs. We had a ball!! The hosts were very friendly, even to suggesting the best way for Evan to park his 11m bus and the two adjoining sites were both of a good size and were sunny. The toilets and showers were spotless, an there's no charge for the showers with ample hot water, and while we didn't use the the kitchens and family games room looked to be excellent. For those not camping or in campers there is a lodge accommodating up to 40 plus motel rooms/cabins. Children on site were well catered for with pedal carts and a decent sized play ground area. The camp is a wee distance out of town; no issue with an e-bike, but it makes up for that by being lovely and peaceful. Ideal for a long weekend break.

We had a friendly welcome after a long drive and the check in was quick and easy. There was even a complimentary bottle of milk. The accommodation was spotless, with a generous supply of towels, materials for hot drinks etc. The location lives up to its name, with a beautiful view of the snow topped mountains. It's also a short walk into the town for a meal or groceries.

By far the best accommodation we have had on our trip so far, it would be almost impossible to beat. Everything was immaculately clean, yet cozy, comfortable and luxurious. The staff are to be commended on being friendly and professional at all times. There was need to evacuate the hotel due to a fellow guest’s misdemeanour but the staff were calm & clear with their instructions at all times. The food was amazing, my only regret was that my appetite couldn’t manage more it was delicious & beautifully presented.

The manager Sourab was very welcoming helpful and generous. He had helpful information about the town and eateries, was very kind to allow us access to a clothes drier as the motel one was having issues and generously went over and above his role to help us.. the motel was comfortable and clean close to town and the local pools and golf course, we have been here twice now and would highly recommend it. The restaurant next door also provides breakfast until 10am and midday and evening meals, the quality is good and fairly priced.

Le motel était l'un des meilleurs - il était parfait pour ce que vous avez besoin, et avec un budget réaliste et raisonnable à correspondre. Les toilettes sont prêtes pour prendre en emprunt à la piscine et retourner pour laver quand vous rentrez. La piscine est à 5 minutes à pied facile. Fantastique vélo stockage disponible et les hôtes étaient super ami et utile. La chambre était incroyablement propre. Il n'y a pas de lave-linge disponible mais il y a une rack de vêtements si vous avez des toits humides, etc. Lieu calme mais si proche des magasins et des plats de manger.
