I want to start by saying that my low review has nothing to do with the game drive or the accommodations, but instead the management and their inability to provide a solution to a problem that was their own fault. I booked this stay for my girlfriend’s birthday 6 months ago. (Her birthday was never acknowledged during our stay here by the way). In my package, I booked and paid for a 90 minute massage for the 2 of us. When we arrived to Gondwana, we asked about our spa treatments, but we were told by management they did not have us booked. They told us there was change in their booking system during July 2023 when we booked, and they had never transferred our spa reservation over, although they still had confirmation of our purchase. We asked for a resolution because we had been looking forward to these spa treatments. They offered us 60 minute massages during our afternoon game drive, which we obviously didn’t want to miss (plus the package I bought included 90 minute massages, not 60 minutes). The only other solution that was offered was for one of us to receive a massage on the morning of check out—Also not a good solution. We asked if there was any other compensation that we could receive for the inconvenience, but we were only offered a refund for the spa treatments. What makes all of this so frustrating is that they admitted this issue was their own fault when they failed to transfer our reservation in the booking system, but due to a lack of resolution, it felt like it was our fault for being uninformed and unprepared. We chose Gondwana because we heard it was the most prestigious game reserve in all of the Cape, but the lack of care for an inconvenience in our travels that was their fault has left us extremely disappointed. For a place of this caliber, they could do more than just offer a “sorry.” This is a very expensive stay, and you would think that would equate to caring about the guest, but it doesn’t. I want to mention that our game drive guide, Ruan has been nothing short of incredible. We’ve loved every minute of our game drives, along with the service at the restaurant and the luggage and housekeeping crew. But that is their job, to provide excellent service, and management should be held to the same standard. Unfortunately, with the lack of care of our reservation from management, what could have been a once in a lifetime time experience is left feeling flat.

Pas grand-chose ～ Si vous ne vous inquiétez pas de l'argent, il est préférable de réserver un balcon sur la mer Le petit-déjeuner est aussi riche. Nous avons des poulets de curry. L'hôtel est près d'un musée, le premier portugais qui a atterri ici. Il y a une lampe à quelques kilomètres.

Nous avons séjourné pendant 3 nuits. J'ai payé en avance, mais quand nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel, on m'a dit que je devais encore doubler le montant que j'ai payé entier que je refusais de faire. Le petit déjeuner était bon tous les matins, mais le restaurant de la journée/de la soirée n'est pas très bon. La chambre était de bonne taille, propre et a une vue agréable. J'ai demandé à la réception si elles pouvaient mettre des choses en main, mais ils ont dit qu'ils vérifieraient si elles avaient, mais ne sont jamais revenues à moi ou si elles ne pouvaient pas mettre des choses en main ! La machine à vendre à la réception a également eu un problème et nous avons dû conduire pour obtenir des boissons froides pour les enfants et quelque chose pour la chambre. Le bar de la plage en bas joue de très haute musique jusqu'à minuit, et je ne pouvais pas dormir chaque nuit avant que la musique de haut niveau ne se termine.

Ok. Nous avons réservé une voiture à 9h et nous sommes arrivés sur la route sale dans la réserve avec 40 minutes pour économiser. La route a dit fermée! Nous avons donc utilisé les cartes de google et les informations sur leur site web et avons trouvé une autre entrée pour les logements. Nous avons donc fait 40 minutes pour penser que nous le faisions. Mais nous n'avons pas pu accéder au site là! Alors nous sommes allés dans la réception de l'hébergement et ils nous ont appelés et nous ont réservés à 1 h et ont dit qu'ils avaient réservé un table pour nous au restaurant. Et ils nous ont dit de ne pas tenir compte du signe fermé de la route! Alors une autre 40 minutes de route pour retrouver la réservation de table n'était pas pour rien complimentaire! Ils auraient pu nous avoir envoyés un courrier pour nous conseiller de ne pas tenir compte du signe fermé de la route mais n'ont pas fait. Le gestionnaire ne pouvait guère se désoler de ce qu'il appelait un peu d'inconvénient ! Nous avions déjà rempli le formulaire d'indemnité en ligne, mais ils voulaient une copie sur papier malgré leur mot dans le formulaire en ligne « sauver les arbres ». Nous avons alors marqué la voiture, nous avons été coincés dans un boue de mule et nous avons dû attendre un véhicule alternatif, qui était froid et inconfortable par rapport au premier véhicule. Dans l'ensemble, un jour mémorable pour les raisons erronées. Au moins nous avons vu quelques animaux incroyables.

Le point de Pinnacle est super sauve, la sécurité vérifie tout le monde en et en dehors, y compris le vous (l'invité) chaque fois qui peut être un peu annoncé .. il est très calme, plein de beauté et de grands pas.
