The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and centrally located. The external cafe bar was a lovely way to end a long day’s sightseeing. It would have been perfect if it stayed open later than 7.30. Staff were friendly and helpful in particular, Maria Angelina. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The wine was delicious and typically a high standard one would expect in the Chianti area. All in all a very pleasant introduction to Tuscany and the Chianti route.

I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

Bien que très proche de la polyclinique, l'hôtel dispose d'un petit espace vert, et est calme et pas directement sur la route principale. En hiver il fait très humide et brumeux car il est situé dans les collines .. comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos ! Je le recommande aussi pour un tour de ville

This hotel is located within walking distance to the little town. The breakfast was good. Now let's discuss the meat of the review, the bad stuff. Our 3 day stay left us wondering if the floor was ever cleaned. I say that because there was the same dead bug next to the bed the entire stay. I requested an iron to use. At first the woman working the front desk said it was illegal in Italy to allow irons in the room. I found this odd because the 2 previous hotels I stayed at just days before gave us irons to use in the room. Very interestingly the front desk staff told us on 2 separate occasions that to use the jacuzzi it would cost 45 euros per person for 90 minutes with a 2 person minimum, so 90 euros minimum. We were certain that our room included this feature as part of our room cost. NOPE! However at checkout a 3rd employee told us that our room indeed include FREE use of the jacuzzi, but failed to offer any compensation. The room itself was old and not all high end. The room lock had actual metal keys and a large brass key fob that seriously weighed a pound. I'm not joking! Parking is horrible at this hotel. You have to park in an area that is lower than the rest of the hotel property in a dirt/gravel lot. They do have 3 parking spots only to be used for check in and check out. These are located across the street from the front office, where most of the rooms are located. However at checkout time, 2 out of the 3 spots were occupied not by guests loading their luggage, but by people working for the hotel. This caused guests to block the narrow street or to haul their luggage down steps across the dirt lot. The workers should NOT be allowed to park there causing the guests to be disrupted. I would not recommend this place to family or fiends. Seriously disappointed!

Le cadre magnifique au coeur du Chianti avec vue superbe sur la campagne toscane, l'accueil sympathique et professionnel de toute l'équipe, le confort et le calme de chambres meublées avec soin et goût, tout est fait pour que votre séjour dans cette villa, qui est plus qu'un hôtel par le charme et la chaleur cosy des recoins qu'on y découvre, soit un moment privilégié. Mais s'ajoute à cela la qualité de contact des propriétaires qui vous accueillent comme le feraient des amis, qui vous conseillent (formidables propositions pré-imprimées et détaillées de circuits pédestres ou automobiles de quelques heures ou de la journée permettant une découverte privilégiée de la région). Trois nuits et trois jours en octobre ne furent pas suffisants pour profiter pleinement de la douceur des lieux, des jardins, de la piscine ... Après ces louanges, deux petites remarques néanmoins: le service du restaurant, fort bon, est un peu austère, guindé, ce qui est dommage, et le buffet du petit déjeuner manque un peu de variété dans les choix par rapport à ceux des autres haltes de notre voyage en Toscane. CONSEIL : pour accéder à la Villa Baronne privilégiez à partir du village la Via XX Luglio, qui passe à côté du cimetière, plutôt que l'accès plus difficile par la SR222 indiqué par les GPS.
