This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream:
✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance
✔️ Hot springs inside the compound
✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development
Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴
Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course.
The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building.
In winter.
On ice.
With wind that slaps.
Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up.
To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾
Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc.
The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸
Then there’s the hot spring schedule.

what exactly is an old dog meant to do?
Stare into the snow?
Question life decisions?

Ah yes — write this review. ✔️
⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly.
Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus.
At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for.
It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs.
Trip.com, if you’re listening:
no guest should ever be pressured to review.
The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative.
This old dog is an independent reviewer.
I don’t bark on command.
I don’t roll over for stars.
And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle.
Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers.
Just come prepared with:
• good boots
• strong knees
• emotional resilience
• and the confidence to say, “I will rate when I’m ready.”

HHannahMErdaobaihe est une charmante petite ville, très agréable. Bien qu'elle ne soit pas située en plein centre-ville, elle se trouve juste en face d'une magnifique pinède, ce qui confère aux environs une grande tranquillité.
Des bus gratuits permettent de se déplacer en ville, ce qui est très pratique. Cependant, ne lisant pas le chinois, nous avons principalement utilisé Didi.
Trouver un Didi peut s'avérer un peu difficile en raison du nombre limité de chauffeurs, mais avec 5 à 15 minutes d'attente, vous devriez y arriver. Les habitants sont très chaleureux et accueillants.
Notre séjour à Enduli a été absolument merveilleux et restera gravé dans nos mémoires. La vue depuis notre chambre au réveil était magique. La chambre était spacieuse et la salle de bain était équipée de toilettes intelligentes avec siège chauffant, une attention très appréciable.
Nous avons rencontré un petit problème : nous avons trouvé un cheveu sur le lit en soulevant le drap. Nous n'y avons pas prêté attention car j'avais prévu mon propre drap jetable. Malgré ce léger incident, notre séjour a été globalement merveilleux.
Ce qui a vraiment rendu cet endroit si spécial, c'était Tante Wu. Elle était toujours là pour nous et se levait même à 6 h du matin juste pour nous dire au revoir. Quand nous cherchions une laverie, elle a gentiment proposé de laver notre linge sur place. Étant un peu maniaque, j'ai été particulièrement touchée qu'elle ait même chauffé mon sac à linge – une attention si délicate.
Je reviendrai sans hésiter.

MMind KatechooLa chambre est si belle. C'était un séjour très agréable et confortable. La chambre a tout ce qu'il faut et est pratique et fonctionnelle. Les lits sont propres et confortables. Le design est bien pensé. Je me plais à passer du temps là-bas. Le Tianchi n'a pas été ouvert tout le temps que j'étais là, donc j'ai passé un peu plus de temps dans la chambre et c'est très agréable ! Ils sont très attentifs à leurs clients. J'étais un peu en bas pour Tianchi mais ils ont fait un bon moment, non plus! J'ai acheté le petit déjeuner séparément pour les jours que je veux manger et ils ont de belles kits de petit déjeuner. Il y a une machine à laver et un sèche-linge et ils sont très occupés. Pourtant, il est très confortable. L'emplacement est à pied au parc Reindeer, parc duck, et centre de distribution aussi. Alors c'est un plus. Il est à environ 1-1.5 km de la rue et de la nourriture. Si vous ne pouvez pas vous rendre à pied, il est toujours possible de marcher (même si c'est très froid). C'était un bon séjour et j'aimais le lieu!

TTan CK 9320L'hôtel est très abordable, il est une excellente option pour les voyageurs sans compromettre le confort. Dès notre arrivée, le propriétaire s'est éloigné de leur façon de rendre notre séjour facile et agréable. Ils ont fourni un transport de la gare de Changbaishan à l'hôtel et même offert de nous emmener aux attractions locales sans frais supplémentaires, ce qui a permis d'explorer la zone beaucoup plus facilement. Les photos ci-dessous montrent que le propriétaire nous a emmenés aux attractions, ce qui était si considérable!
L'hôtel est situé juste dans la ville, c'est très confortable. Les chambres étaient propres, confortables et bien entretenues, et l'environnement général de l'hôtel était bienvenu et confortable.
Le propriétaire est vraiment gentil et réfléchi, toujours prêt à aider et à garantir un séjour agréable et confortable.
Si vous cherchez un hôtel bon marché avec un excellent service, une position confortable et un contact personnel, je recommande vivement Changbaishan Hailinyuan Fashion Hotel. La combinaison de la convenance, de l'hospitalité et de la convenance fait de cette option un choix remarquable pour tout visiteur de la région.

The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to Zhongyang Street, near a famous ice cream shop and a tasty mala sausage stall. The area at the end of Zhongyang Street is beautiful and less crowded. I would stay here again.

IInvitéHotel service was excellent, as they went above and beyond to help us during our stay. They helped arrange transport and sight seeing activities - the couple who manage the place in particular were super friendly. Its well located near the entry of Changbaishan Scenic Park gate. They are quite close to Tiger Mountain ski resort, which is can cater for skiers from beginners to more advanced. There is a hot spring in the hotel and our package included breakfast and dinner,which was good. It has been renovated in last year or so.

JJennilinStayed in a 4 bedrooms & 3 bathroom suite. The electricity went out twice 😱 😨 but they managed to fix it within 10 mins of reporting. Able to wash clothes and the heater is good. The manager allowed us to shower in next room as the waiting time between each person to shower is 30 mins. Seems to be the case for most apartment. They gave us ginseng soup as souvenirs too. Overall happy with the stay as we did hot spring too & breakfast was quite good. Managed to go to Changbaishan mountain which is very convenient

IInvitéThe staff were very kind and we were impressed by their sincere attitude toward the guests. We booked the Gyegok trekking through Trip.com, but as foreigners, we had trouble communicating with the trekking company. The manager helped us, and we had a wonderful time that will remain a pleasant memory.
If we have the chance to come to Changbai Mountain again, we would definitely choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We are truly grateful for the warm hearts of all the staff.
Also, grilling skewers and enjoying a glass of soju in the hotel parking lot was an unforgettable delight.
