AAhmad MostafaAfter spending six days in MGallery Hotel Sapporo, I can safely say this is not an ordinary hotel. Reception at 5 pm was professional, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait. Well done. Takako and Cindy provided a warm, informative and professional service.
The concierge was helpful and welcoming. Very useful in a freezing outdoor climate - thank you Alex.
My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely. The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.
The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic!
WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.
House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.
I had access to the executive lounge. It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.
The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.
The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.
Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.
Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.
To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.
A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day!
Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.

IInvitéA very comfortable stay. I was in a Single Rm on d 13th flr. Super quiet at the end of the hallway. Window facing another building wall, no view. Comfortable bed and PJ set. No daily housekeeping provided but they'd leave a bag of towel, new PJ set and stuffs hanging on your door in the morning. Early check-in would cost 1000¥ per hour till the official 3【pm check-in time. I opt to leave my luggage in their storage rm, after I checked in around 4:30p, my bags already in my rm. Professional and polite staffs in general. I took the airport bus, but on my day of arrival, bus companies not dropping off passengers infront of the hotel due to severe snowstorm 2 days prior. And they also not picking up infront of d hotel on the wkend and final day of d Sapporo Winter Festival. Nearest airport bus stop would be Odori Park or Grand Sapporo Hotel. It's about less than 10mins walk. If it's during winter with snow on d ground, the Grand Sapporo Hotel bus stop would actually be a better route. I took the Odori Park route and was a bit tedious. Hotel is attentive to amenities details eg: charging cables of different ports ( type-C, Apple, usb-A etc...) available in the rm; utensils available at each floor's elevator lobby, free tea/coffee and extra toiletries at Lobby. Coin laundry(cash only) is 300¥ for each load of washing ( laundry detergent will automatically add in) and 100¥ for 30mins dry. Coin exchange avail at Check-in desk. Great location to Odori Park just across the street and plenty of choices for food + shopping. Rm facing the park during Winter Festival might be noisy due to stage performances and safety announcements or whatnot from the megaphone. Loves the onsen; Female and male has each of their own sections. Closed for cleaning 10a-2p daily, but daily operation is 2p-2a. Delicious mini fruit popsicles/ ice cream available to onsen users. No mini-fridge nor microwave in the rm. Breakfast buffet cost 2300¥/pax with mostly cold dishes, hot food only a handful of choices - wished could be more though; but they do serve wine (red+ white). Will stay again.

VVINCENT FREDERICTrès bon séjour à l'hôtel en famille avec un accueil dès la sortie de la station de bus (possibilité d'avoir un parking gratuit avec une voiture). L'hôtel, ses installations et ses équipements ont été présentés en détail au moment du check-in. La chambre était spacieuse et bien équipé avec un bain privatif avec vue. Les lits et les futons sont confortables et un Yukata, ainsi qu'un pyjama sont fournis pour se baigner dans la tradition japonaise. Les sources chaudes de l'hôtel étaient très grandes avec plusieurs bassins donc un bassin extérieur. L'hôtel propose également des snacks et des boissons gratuitement dans le lounge à la sortie des sources chaudes.
Cependant, le repas était un peu décevant car je suis resté sur ma faim et j'ai connu d'autres hôtels avec des meilleurs repas.

IInvitéI recently stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Sapporo and had a wonderful experience. The hotel feels brand new, with a modern and elegant design throughout. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out, with very comfortable bedding and great amenities.
The location is convenient, close to Susukino and within easy reach of key attractions, yet the area feels calm and relaxed. The staff were attentive, professional, and always ready to help. Breakfast offered a good variety of both Japanese and Western options, and everything was fresh and well presented.
Overall, it’s a stylish and comfortable choice in Sapporo, perfect for both leisure and business stays. I would definitely return on my next visit.

KKathy WPNThe location of this hotel is just next to the Shin Sapporo JR and Subway station, about 3-4 minutes walk from the station. It is considered a very good and convenient place for us. You can almost different shops in the station building including supermarkets. The hotel room is spacious, comfortable and clean, providing all necessary amenities and services. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

VviiiiiikiL'hôtel est situé tout près de la gare, ce qui facilite les déplacements. La chambre, bien que petite, est entièrement équipée, propre et bien rangée, offrant un excellent rapport qualité-prix. De nombreux restaurants et commerces se trouvent également à proximité.

UUtilisateur anonymeThe hotel’s location is the reason that I booked for my stay in Sapporo. It is opposite the JR Sapporo Station and airport limousine bus stop is right in front of the hotel.
Hotel reception is on the 7th floor and breakfast is on the 1st floor. When taking the elevator to your room, you will need to scan your room card before proceeding. By the way, hotel does provide free coffee and drinks for hotel guests in the lobby.
FYI, there is a Lawson, the convenient store which is near to the hotel building.

IInvitéI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view from the room was absolutely beautiful, and the large window allowed us to enjoy the full scenery outside, which made the stay even more relaxing. The room also comes with a bathtub, which was a great bonus — perfect for soaking and unwinding after a long day. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. Nearby there are lawson, 7-11, family mart and big supermarket near our hotel. Opposite our hotel, there is a ramen shop that have very nice ramen and chicken karage.
But the only thing the train station is a bit far from the hotel.

IInvitéPretty much happy staying in this hotel. Buffet food for dinner and breakfast already worth the price. Plus they have onsen whether indoor and open air in the ground oor. And the top floor onsen. The view is amazing, I got to see a river and forest cover by snow while having breakfast. 100/10
