« Ses atouts sont son emplacement idéal, à proximité de nombreux bons restaurants et d'une gare TGV facilement accessible. C'est l'hôtel parfait pour une étape. Le personnel d'entretien est très agréable et un service de blanchisserie est également disponible.
Ses inconvénients sont la petite taille des chambres, ce qui le rend peu adapté aux familles. L'ascenseur est exigu et l'attente aux heures de pointe est pénible.
Peut-être parce que nous sommes arrivés à minuit, la réception a semblé un peu désorientée au moment de l'attribution des chambres : une grande suite familiale a été attribuée à une personne seule et une toute petite chambre à une famille. Le personnel de la réception était également assez impatient. »

IInvitéIt had been 20 years since I last visited Kunming — I was just 7 years old back then. This time, I came back for something truly special: to propose to my girlfriend on Qixi Festival, China’s Valentine’s Day. Given how much this moment meant to me, I wanted everything to be perfect. That’s why I chose the Grand Hyatt Kunming, a brand I’ve always trusted, and booked a Deluxe King Room with Club Access for August 28–30.
The first night started well. We stayed on the 26th floor — even though the room was near the elevator, it was surprisingly quiet, and the layout and lighting made it feel warm and comfortable. Everything was off to a good start.
But things took a turn the next day — the actual day of the proposal, August 29 — a day I had been planning for a long time.
We were given a room on the 24th floor, and from the moment we walked in, I could tell something was off. The layout felt awkward, and the room was noticeably warmer than the night before. I turned on the air conditioning, but it didn’t seem strong enough. I even checked with the hotel staff that afternoon and was told the room was “standard size.”
After the proposal (which thankfully went beautifully!), my fiancée and I left the room around 9:00 PM for dinner. Before leaving, we set the AC to 16°C, hoping we’d come back to a cool and comfortable space.
But when we returned around 11:30 PM, the room temperature hadn’t improved at all. It was still stuffy, and the bathroom was even worse — no proper ventilation, just heat and humidity. We called the front desk, and two technicians came up. After checking everything, they told us the room was “normal.” I asked if we could switch rooms, but the request was brushed off. They just told us to wait — that it would eventually cool down.
By then it was already 2:00 AM. Both of us were completely exhausted and had no energy left to argue. We tried to sleep. But at 8:30 AM, I woke up drenched in sweat — the room still hadn’t cooled down.
Honestly, I’m heartbroken by this experience. This day was supposed to be one of the most memorable and romantic nights of our lives. And now, while we will remember it, it’s for the wrong reasons. I never imagined that a stay at a Grand Hyatt, in a room I paid extra for (with Club Access and “Deluxe” in the name), would turn out to be so disappointing.
I didn’t come here expecting perfection. But I did expect basic comfort, and at the very least, a response from staff that showed they understood how important this stay was for us. Sadly, that didn’t happen.

IInvitéHello everyone. We stayed at this hotel at the end of November 2024. Initially, we booked the hotel for 5 days, then we extended, extended and in the end, we stayed there for 11 nights. The hotel is new, clean. The rooms have good quality robes, toiletries. We were quite satisfied with the breakfasts. We were pleased with the availability of freshly squeezed juices. The main staff does not speak English, but this is not a problem, since the on-line translator saves us, and the staff tries very hard to understand what you want from them. The only person who speaks excellent English was the manager Sam. A man passionate about his work. He told us a lot about the hotel and what is nearby. And there is a lot there: a park with playgrounds, a bungee jump, and a birdhouse with parrots. Sam showed us a place next to the hotel, which is a set for films. Boat station, where you can take a boat and take a walk on the lake and go straight to the hotel grounds. The hotel itself is in a great location, in a lowland, on the shore of the lake. If you plan a trip to Kunming, then it is far from the city. But we needed a quiet and beautiful place. And we got it. With the window open in the evenings and mornings you can hear the fish splashing in the lake and the ducks quacking. It was great to sleep, as the mattress and pillows are of excellent quality. We will definitely come back here and will recommend it to our friends.
P.S. Once again, we say a huge thank you to Sam, he not only told and showed us a lot about the hotel and the surrounding area, he also helped us solve some issues with our luggage at the airport. A wonderful, responsive person. The hotel management is very lucky to have such a person on their team.

11390306****L'expérience de l'hôtel Kunming Antigua Heat Mountain Hotel est complètement au-delà de mes attentes, il faut faire un grand plaisir! 👍
L'environnement du jardin de l'hôtel est vraiment super, marche sur la route de la pierre, les arbres verts sont entourés de tiges, les plantes tropicales sont toutes sortes de pertes, il y a lieu de se déplacer partout. Je suis en séjour avec un simple établissement chaud de la pierre arctique, la confidentialité est très bonne, la plus surprenante est de ne pas se porter un piscine de tige! Le matin et le soir, ils ont écouté les oiseaux, ont parfumé les fleurs, l'eau reflète les ombres des arbres, ce sentiment proche de la nature est trop guéri.
Les services du personnel sont également particulièrement intimes, qui vont de l'hébergement à la salutation quotidienne, qui est une source d'intimité et d'enthousiasme pour chaque fonctionnaire de l'hôtel.
Le petit déjeuner est très raffiné, en particulier le lin de riz de la métallisation, avec des aliments spéciaux, a l'air extraordinaire de manger sur le plat bleu, et l'ouverture d'un jour plein de rêves.
Dans l'ensemble, il est parfait d'intégrer le paysage naturel et l'expérience de vacances, c'est le choix idéal pour relaxer et développer la personne et la personne.

LliathanongA relatively new hotel. Perfect for a overnight stay for people rushing to the high speed the next morning. Room was big and comfortable.
We booked for the non smoking level but there is an ashtray on the living room table and u can smell cigarette smoke along corridor. Really wished this country makes more effort in advocating for non smoking despite signs beinf put up.
We managed to search for a little night market, Shilin night market about 10 mins taxi ride away from the hotel. Maybe hotel can provide more information about places around for tourists.
It is also a short walking distance to the metro which is linked to high speed as well.
Managed to book the free pick up from high speed to hotel however the next day's hotel to high speed is already fully booked. We also didn't managed to have breakfast due to timing of our high speed.

AAliya0302It is definitely more wedding venue, more local oriented, very nice territory around, good for photoshoot and stuff , nice and friendly staff helped me a lot, but it was a bit confusing in general, like i booked it cause of hotsprings and outdoor pool, turns out you cannot use the outdoor pool and from all hot things was working only one stone bath. So basically we ended up in a very strange situation when 3 groups of people have or to wait in line to that bath or seat on each other. However Indoor pool was nice, big and clean, but bring your towel. The room itself is ...let's say not cosy and a lot reminded a changing room, probably cause of sink right next to the bed. So sum up, good place to have fun, massage, spa say, nice photos and so on, but maybe not a best place to stay for tourist.

WweirL'environnement est très bon. La chambre fait 44 mètres carrés. Une famille de trois personnes est venue à Kunming, dans le Yunnan, pour faire du tourisme. J'ai vu cet hôtel sur Internet et il est assez beau et économique. Quand j'ai pris un taxi ici la nuit, cela ressemblait à un palais de l'extérieur. Mon bébé était très heureux et voulait jouer un moment même s'il était très tard. L'aire de jeux pour enfants et les sources chaudes ici sont très bonnes. Cette source chaude semble plus confortable que celles que nous avons connues à Shanghai. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. C'est le repas le plus riche que j'ai mangé au cours des 5 jours de voyage dans le Yunnan. C'est très naturel et la verdure est très belle. Je le recommanderai à mes amis et j'y retournerai la prochaine fois que je viendrai à Kunming.

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed.
First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature.
However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs.
The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options.
A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests.
A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level.
Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

La vaisselle, la machine à café, la bouilloire, les articles de toilette, l'eau potable et les boissons sont tous complets à l'intérieur !
Lit : les oreillers et le matelas sont très moelleux
Restaurant : Au 49ème étage (petit-déjeuner 6h30-11h). Les horaires sont effectivement très conviviaux et les horaires d'ouverture sont assez longs ! En tant que paresseux, je n'ai pas pu me lever le matin pendant 3 jours.
Vue de la chambre :
La vue nocturne dégagée au 40ème étage où j'ai séjourné est vraiment magnifique. Il ne s'agit pas de regarder les montagnes ou l'eau, il s'agit de regarder la circulation intense aux niveaux hauts et bas, et la vue nocturne de la lumière et de l'obscurité correspondantes !
Transport sur place :
Quant à l'emplacement, il n'est pas loin de plusieurs magasins et restaurants représentatifs !
Je ne suis pas allé à South Asia Style Street, 1903, Aegean Shopping Plaza et dans une vieille rue (on dit que c'est un lieu d'enregistrement pour les célébrités d'Internet)
Si vous avez trop faim après votre enregistrement et souhaitez emporter, composez le 0 à votre arrivée et le personnel de service vous l'apportera rapidement !

Le service est plutôt bon. Le personnel peut répondre à l'appel instantanément, peu importe où je me trouve ! J'ai eu un petit incident, le climatiseur ne refroidissait pas et j'ai immédiatement demandé à l'équipe d'ingénierie de le résoudre et si je devais fournir un ventilateur. d'abord pour éviter la surchauffe !

UUtilisateur anonymeL'emplacement est fantastique, juste à côté du Lac Vert, où l'on peut nourrir les mouettes le matin – une expérience merveilleuse ! C'est également très pratique pour visiter le temple Yuantong, l'université du Yunnan et l'Académie militaire du Yunnan. Le personnel de l'hôtel était incroyablement aimable et poli, nous accueillant toujours chaleureusement. Sachant que nous fêtions notre anniversaire de mariage, ils ont décoré notre chambre avec soin et nous ont apporté des fleurs et une carte de vœux, ce qui nous a beaucoup touchés. Merci, Zhang Zekui et Yang Rongjie ! Au moment de notre départ, l'hôtel nous a même offert d'adorables plantes grasses, ainsi que des yaourts et des biscuits – vraiment charmant ! Je recommande vivement cet hôtel !

She stayed in touch with us throughout our trip, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed and offering thoughtful recommendations that really enhanced our experience.
The hotel itself was beautifully maintained, with spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and a calm atmosphere that made it easy to relax after exploring the city. The service across the board was attentive and professional, but Jeanee’s personal touch really made our stay feel extra special.
The hot springs are an incredible feature! There were several to choose from with ranging temperatures!
We would highly recommend HUALUXE Kunming to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning on our next trip
