Standout was the unique rooms which are extremely private, spacious and beautifully designed along the lagoon. Personally I didn’t quite understand the ‘Butler’ concept and found some of the comms style a bit frustrating. The other standout was the ‘Day of the dead’ celebrations. The property was decorated beautifully and very well organised. The opportunity to also participate was great as we felt emerged in the festivities. It would have been nice if the dinner package also included the face painting. More broadly the property is set within mayakoba so you can explore the grounds including the other hotels and it was fun to explore on the bikes. The only other thing to be aware off is also this is the more premium / exclusive hotel in mayakoba it’s still geared towards families or at least there where quite a few kids around. Finally don’t have high expectations of the beach it’s tiny and there isn’t much space. If you want high end luxury visit Maroma.

C'est mon troisième voyage avec mon gf à cet hôtel et nous l'aimons tous les temps. La seule suggestion que je puisse faire pour faire l'expérience encore mieux serait une belle expérience de machine à café / espresso. Il est trop bon pour le lait utilisé, mais c'est ma préférence personnelle ! :) Je recommanderais cet hôtel à tout le monde qui veut profiter d'un temps calme/romant avec son partenaire.

The food, experiences, and views were incredible, though the service was just okay. Be sure to book experiences well in advance—we missed out on the cenotes dinner despite reserving a month ahead. This dinner was our main reason for choosing the hotel, yet staff informed us it wasn't available. To make matters worse, another experience was canceled without notification, causing us to wake up unnecessarily early and ruining our day.

L'hôtel a corrigé son erreur sur le site Web que j'ai réservé. Quand nous sommes arrivés, ils nous ont dit que nous devions payer des taxes supplémentaires et aucun bkft inclus. Mais nous leur avons montré l'itinéraire que nous avons payé. L'hôtel ( Guillermo ) résout l'erreur pour nous, ce qui est une très bonne initiative! Permettez-nous de profiter davantage du beau voyage. Les serveurs du restaurant sont super gentils et font attention à leurs invités, ce qui est un service cinq étoiles auquel nous nous attendions tout le temps. Merci Walter de nous avoir fait vivre une expérience merveilleuse. De plus, celui qui nous a aidés à ramener les bagages en bas ce matin, Axel était très soucieux du détail dans le service, a respecté nos besoins !! Il méritait plus ! Merci pour ces belles exp. vos collègues ont rendu nos voyages faciles et agréables !

L'hôtel se trouve dans le grand parc de Kaman Beach, il y a beaucoup d'hôtels de luxe aux alentours, il y a beaucoup de terrains de golf, l'hôtel est une propriété de vacances et il y a beaucoup d'articles de loisirs. Normal, car l'hôtel est couvert par la jungle, il y a beaucoup de flore et de faune, le petit déjeuner est bon, le dîner est meilleur, il y a beaucoup de restaurants et piscines, la plage et la mer sont moyennes!

Great Stay at Riu Playacar We enjoyed our stay at this clean, well-organized resort with spacious, quiet rooms (ours had no balcony, but it was fine). The minibar was a nice touch, and the bathroom was spotless. Highlights: ✔ Food variety – Multiple à-la-carte restaurants (dinner reservations not needed) and buffets with good lunch/breakfast options. ✔beach – Plenty of sunbeds but no umberalla so bring your sunscreen, though pools get crowded les sunbeds. ✔ Access to sister hotels – Party lovers can visit Riu Tequila’s club nearby. ✔ Convenient location – Mini-market across the street, and Playa del Carmen (5th Ave) is just a 150-peso taxi ride away. ✔ Easy airport transfer – ADO bus (250 pesos/person, 45-min ride + 5-min taxi 150 pesos next to ado turism station). Minor drawbacks: ✖ No elevators – Tough for guests with mobility issues. ✖ Entertainment hiccups – The host sometimes forgot to switch back to English after Spanish announcements. Perfect for: Travelers who want good value, variety, and proximity to Playa’s nightlife.

Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. J'ai demandé à plusieurs reprises si c'était vraiment une salle de vue sur l'océan et on a dit qu'il était vraiment. Très décevant de payer plus pour cela. J'aurais préféré n'importe quelle autre vue, mais cela vraiment. La cuisine et le service sont excellents et la propriété est bien entretenue, mais la vue de la chambre nous a fait sentir tristes et ruinés l'expérience.

Firstly El Beso is simply 1 building within the larger Ocean Rivera resort. Meaning only your building is Adults Only. Our Swim up room was lovely. We tried almost all if not all of the 10 restaurants and we had no complaints the food was good. Maybe not always amazing but never terrible. There’s like 3/4 different brands or levels of service within the larger resort. El Beso seems to be 1 level from the top which is Privilege we switched for an extra night & the mini bar for privilege was much better as well as having the butler service and priority restaurant bookings when they were all booked. There’s also a special restaurant only for privilege that was great but none of the restaurants were extremely crowded. There’s an app or webpage that works like an app with all of the resort info and you can book reservations there. There’s also lots of entertainment nightly. It’s definitely a place to go and stay there’s no need to venture outside of the resort there’s so many things to do schedules are packed for all of the different areas & a bowling alley and theater. There is not much near by the tourist area is maybe 20 mins away by car down the beach.

Grand complexe avec plusieurs piscines et restaurants, bien que certaines commodités ne soient pas disponibles en raison de la covid. Personnel généralement serviable et gentil, un monsieur au concierge n'était pas le meilleur mais le directeur était super ! La plage avait beaucoup d'espace, des endroits pour s'asseoir et du personnel disponible pour le service des boissons. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bel endroit où séjourner!

Tout le personnel était sympathique et gentil. C'était mieux car il n'y avait que des étrangers et pas de Coréens. Personnellement, c'était une aubaine que je n'aie pas fait Arte ! Au contraire, j'ai rencontré beaucoup de Coréens pendant la tournée hahaha.
