Il n'y a pas de plage du tout. Il faut prendre le bateau de l'hôtel pour s'y rendre. C'est l'hôtel le plus cher de cette rangée, mais il est vraiment moyen. La plongée avec tuba coûte 20 $. Il y a aussi une île, mais nous y sommes allés une journée car il pleuvait et nous n'avons pas pu y aller. L'expérience d'hébergement dans son ensemble était très mauvaise, mais la piscine était très bonne. Il n'y avait pas d'endroit pour manger dehors. Le dîner à l'hôtel était à vos frais, il s'agissait uniquement de plats occidentaux, ce qui était correct.

Je suis une voyageuse solo et je cherchais un hôtel où me reposer après mes folles escales dans tout Zanzibar. Toute l’équipe de l’hôtel a été aux petits soins avec moi. Je n’ai manqué de rien. La chambre était spacieuse et magnifique avec la piscine et le petit jardin. Le domaine est très boisé ce qui fait que vous pouvez croiser des petits animaux sympathiques. Encore merci à toute l’équipe de l’hôtel The Résidence pour tout le soin apporté à mon séjour.

It's a nice beach hotel, having a good restaurant and the staff is very friendly. To be recommended except regarding their laundry service because they are not offering to clean separate individual items of clothing as is usually offered in most hotels. A fully loaded washing machine would be charged even if you only need to wash a single item.

The location of the hotel was perfect – close to the iconic Paje Beach, with convenient access via buggy, so I could enjoy the beauty of the area while still retreating to the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The boho vibes of Samawa Living were stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a cosy and serene environment.

AAbderrahmaneIt’s a very nice hotel nice location. Food is great at the restaurant. The room is very clean but there was little hot water so we couldn’t fill the bathtub. The service needs to be enhanced, we arrived but no one there to take the luggage so I had to carry them. The cleaning lady came to our room an hour before the check out time and she put her cleaning stuff in our terrace. Jembe the pool boy was very friendly he showed us around the hotel and took some good photos for me and my wife.

IInvitéThis is my second trip to Marea (previously under another name but with the same owners). I only want to talk about how much I like it if you all promise not to book in for the same weeks that I visit again. It’s quiet, which I love, but within walking distance of busier Paje. The rooms are clean, well-sized, have aircon, fans and cute balconies. Some of the rooms have just been redesigned, and I know there are more upgrades in the works. It has a wonderful Neapolitan restaurant, which is helpful because you don’t ever feel like you *need* to hunt for other food. It has a perfectly sized pool which never feels crowded, and not being in the centre of the resort, doesn’t come with lots of eyes gazing in your direction. Most of all, the staff are fantastic. They always have a smile and a kind word. Service is good and easy. It’s a great find for those looking for a boutique family run resort that also doesn’t break the bank.

IInvitéLe site est un peu plus loin de la plage que la plupart des attractions touristiques, mais Paje n'est pas grand (nous parlons environ 350m), et ne pas être au centre du tourisme me convient mieux. Il est calme, il a tout ce qu'il faut, et John, le gestionnaire, était super.
La seule chose que je puisse suggérer était un malaise, c'est que lorsque nous avons eu l'un des grands éclats de l'île depuis près de 12 heures, Nebo n'était pas le plus préparé. Je viens en fait d'un pays qui a combattu avec l'électricité constante depuis plusieurs années. La cuisine est gaz, et les téléphones portent des torches, donc je me suis sentie complètement bien.
Je le recommanderais encore.

AAbdullahi JamiluIt’s my first time in Zanzibar, I spent two nights at this hotel and a night in another hotel, all I can say is that this hotel is wonderful, rooms are clean, food is nice and above all the staffs are lovely, very friendly and helpful, I’ve been to many hotels in different countries but I can give a high thumb for the staffs of Toa hotel, The General Manager, Lucas that received me upon arrival and the best of all The Front Desk Manager ESTHER, thanks a lot for the hibiscus Juice the day I arrived and the last cup you gave me before I leave, you never knew but it’s my best and I’ll come back for it again in sha Allah.
You gave me free wine lucky I don’t drink alcohol I had to return it back to you, thank you so much and I’ll recommend thousands to use your hotel if I have to and I’m sure you’ll never let them down.

OOkuhleAbsolutely loved our stay at Kwanza, my mom and I had the best time. We were greeted by Caroline who always had a smile. Lucky was so jolly and helpful with our bags. Ahamed was always ready to assist with any and everything. The rooms were spacious and clean though there was a day where housekeeping forgot to come and spray the mosquito repellent. We had the best spa day and would highly recommend the full package. The food was exceptional and plentiful, we got the all inclusive package so we had all meals served and would recommend that as the resort is located far from other places. The bar service though needs improving as they were slow because there was only one server per bar but the cocktails were great!! I had forgotten my phone at one of the bathrooms and it was returned to me before I even noticed so the place is very safe.

Виллы шикарные, просторные, все приватно расположены с садом и собственным бассейном. Соседей не видно и не слышно. Чем-то напоминает Мальдивы, только там такие номера стоят тысячи долларов.
Территория большая, ухоженная, очень чистая, по ней приятно гулять, тот, кто за ней ухаживает заслуживают золотой медали.
Охрана отеля в виде воинов Масаи , очень необычно, придаёт свою изюминку.
Панорамный открытый ресторан. Виды потрясающие.
Пляж чистый, приватный, кроме гостей отеля никого нет, песок белый и мягкий. Океан чистый. Время отливов и приливов удобное. Приливы рано утром и после обеда , когда солнце уже не агрессивно.
Возможно нет такого разнообразия в выборе блюд, но зато вкусно. На завтраки свежевыжатые соки. Пусть не так вышколен персонал, но это отражено в стоимости. И все равно большое им спасибо.
Очень понравилось и очень рекомендую.

IInvitéSet in a beautiful garden setting on high ground overlooking sea. Old colonial style architecture. Rooms are basic but have no kettle in the room. Toiletries, mosquito nets, excellent WiFi. Lovely staff. Great big breakfast and excellent coffee. No pool. Beach is long way downhill surrounded by mangrove. Need to walk some distance Shops and main road for transport nearby. Airport 4 kilometres, a Taxis costs 20000 Tsh. The number 506 dala dala goes into Stone Town from Mimi cafe.. Would definitely stay again
