We enjoyed the comfort and quietness of this hotel. It is an economical hotel close to Ulm's train station as well. The location is ok and it is about a 10 minute walk from the train station and Ulm Munster. There isn't much nearby but most spots to see in Ulm are about 10 to 20 minutes away and there are plenty of good restaurants throughout Ulm that aren't too far away from the hotel. This is a true economy hotel and it has standard offerings similar to other B&B hotels. They have a small table, a couple of stools, a small TV and some space to hang up clothes and put your things. The bed is comfy, the wifi is good, the room was clean, and the room was very quiet at night. The temperature was easy to control for our room with the AC unit that blew plenty of heat in December and quickly warmed up the room. We also learned during this stay that you could borrow a kettle at the front desk but you need to pay for the tea bags. The bathroom was good and the shower offers good pressure and the temperature is easy to control. You may want to consider bringing your own products because they have an all in one body cleanser here. One thing we thought could improve the hotel is a better means to access the hotel if you arrive early because they don't always leave the door open/unlocked as we found out when we arrived to drop off our bags around 11 am. Not all staff here speak English either but they were good when we checked in. They do have a self check in kiosk outside the lobby but it didn't seem to be working when we visited and we would be slightly concerned if we came very late to check in because it seems their front desk is not always manned. They use a code to access the hotel after hours but you need to check in first and that same code is used to unlock your room's door. The hotel has street parking nearby as well as a parking garage underneath. The hotel offers a discounted breakfast if you use their application and there may be a membership to get a free breakfast during your stay. They have drinks, snacks and pizza available at the front desk too.

Amazing location and such a warm place to stay, Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here! The location couldn’t be better: the old town and the castle are right outside the door, and you can even see Heidelberg Castle just by looking up. It’s about a ten-minute walk uphill to the castle and less than ten minutes to the bridge. There’s also a bus stop downstairs with a direct connection to the main train station. I truly love this place. It’s my first choice in Germany, and honestly, I would come back to Heidelberg just to stay here again.  The owner and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and everything is spotlessly clean. The guests are friendly, respectful and quiet, which makes it easy to meet people while still feeling relaxed. Every bed has its own power socket, there’s a female-only bathroom and shower, fresh bed linen, lockers, a spacious kitchen and a cozy common room. I especially loved the photo wall, the guest book and the world map with pins. Free coffee and milk , hair dryer available. The heating is great, the view outside the window is beautiful, and there’s even a small balcony garden. In the cold German winter, this place truly warmed my heart. It’s honestly my favorite hostel. I really hope to come back!

J'ai réservé un lit dans un dortoir de 6 lits. Le dortoir est suffisamment grand pour ne pas se sentir à l'étroit. Le lit est superposé, avec un matelas de qualité. Ce dortoir dispose d'une salle de bain attenante (douche + lavabo) et de toilettes attenantes (WC + lavabo). Tout était propre. L'espace commun est agréable. Le Wi-Fi est bon. Un buffet de petit-déjeuner est disponible. À 200 m de l'arrêt de tramway U12. À 700 m du supermarché Lidl. À 1,5 km de la gare centrale de Stuttgart. Le personnel est sympathique et très accueillant. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour un court ou un long séjour.

Leider war der Empfang an der Rezeption nicht zufriedenstellend. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass man wenig Interesse zeigte und ich mich als Gast nicht willkommen fühlte. Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit und ein professioneller Umgang gehören für mich zu einem guten Service und haben bei meinem Besuch gefehlt. Ich hoffe, dass das Team diesen Punkt als konstruktive Kritik versteht und den Empfangsbereich künftig serviceorientierter gestaltet, denn der erste Eindruck ist entscheidend.

Plus : Location. Hospitalité : une excellente hospitalité du bureau frontal. Moins/ marge d'amélioration La salle de bain peut être petit pour six pieds (personnes qui sont plus de six pieds) et avec une IMC grande que dire 23-25. Il y a une situation de débit d'eau où, après avoir pris une douche, l'eau peut arriver au sol de la salle de bain et enfin arriver au sol de la salle. J'ai l'espoir que le propriétaire pourrait prêter une attention / faire quelque chose à ce sujet quand toutes les situations permettent le sol est très bon, il semble regrettable d'obtenir des dommages à long terme en raison d'eau excessive de la salle de bain. Autres conseils / rappel Il y a des cas d'escalier à la porte avant et impliquent de déplacer votre bagage en haut pour arriver à l'hôtel. Les équipements sont très bien adaptés à la situation.

Der Aufenthalt begann leider bereits mit einer irritierenden Begrüßung an der Rezeption. Sinngemäß wurde geäußert, dass ein Urlaub in Freiburg zu dieser Jahreszeit nicht lohnenswert und eine schlechte Idee sei. Diese Aussage empfand ich als wenig einladend und habe daher im weiteren Verlauf davon abgesehen, die Rezeption erneut aufzusuchen. Die Schlafräume sind sehr klein und selbst für Hostel-Verhältnisse nur unzureichend ausgestattet. Besonders problematisch war die Sauberkeit: Auf nahezu allen Oberflächen lag deutlich sichtbarer Staub, sodass man kaum etwas ablegen wollte. Die Bettwäsche wies zudem Flecken auf, die den Eindruck mangelnder Hygiene verstärkten. Auch das Leitungswasser hatte in den ersten Sekunden einen stark unangenehmen Geruch, was ebenfalls irritierend war. Der Schlafkomfort ließ insgesamt stark zu wünschen übrig. Die Matratzen sind sehr dünn und liegen lediglich auf einfachen Holzplatten statt auf einem Lattenrost. Ein erholsamer Schlaf ist unter diesen Bedingungen kaum möglich; Rückenschmerzen sind nahezu vorprogrammiert. Die Preise für Getränke liegen deutlich über dem üblichen Niveau und sind etwa doppelt so hoch wie im Supermarkt. Dass ein Betrieb wirtschaftlich arbeiten muss, ist nachvollziehbar, die Höhe der Aufschläge erscheint jedoch nicht mehr angemessen. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die zentrale Lage sowie die optische Gestaltung der Anlage, die auf den ersten Blick ansprechend wirkt. Leider entsteht der Eindruck, dass der Fokus stark auf das äußere Erscheinungsbild gelegt wurde, während grundlegende Aspekte wie Sauberkeit und Schlafqualität vernachlässigt wurden. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aus meiner Sicht nicht. Eine attraktive Optik kann die genannten strukturellen und hygienischen Mängel leider nicht ausgleichen.

Nous sommes arrivés alors que la réception était fermée, mais ce n'était pas un problème. Vous pourrez rapidement obtenir votre code lors de l'auto-enregistrement. Nous avons dû appeler car notre numéro de réservation ne correspondait pas exactement au numéro de l'hôtel, mais la personne au téléphone nous a prévenu lorsque nous avons indiqué nos coordonnées.

Excellent hôtel pour une nuit avant de partir pour l'Italie. Tout est propre. Un parking souterrain est disponible à l'arrière, d'où vous pourrez reprendre l'ascenseur pour rejoindre l'hôtel. En face de l'hôtel se trouve un grand centre commercial proposant d'excellents restaurants. Le choix est vaste. À quelques pas se trouve un pont sur le Rhin, et de l'autre côté se trouve la France. Un agréable restaurant avec terrasse se trouve juste devant le pont.

The Hotel is one of those self-check in types, without a reception. We hadn’t received the code at all, so we had to phone the service number. Person on the phone was good and gave us the code. Very comfortable bed and large room, excellent for the price we paid. In a pretty quiet area surrounded by office buildings, and business parking. Very close to Train station, but not too much around. Cons: Could have been a little bit cleaner, there was hair in the shower drain for example, and a few things didn’t work: a lamp, heated towel rail, the shower door was also missing.

La chambre est très propre et dispose d'un espace suffisant. À propos du personnel, quand j'ai vérifié le 31 août dernier, 2023 autour 5PM, le personnel du bureau frontal n'était pas amicalement. Je sais et je comprends qu'elle est étrangère parce que je suis étrangère en Allemagne aussi. Mais elle doit agir amical et poli. Mais le personnel qui est chargé & qui m'a entretenu au bureau de front le matin du 1er septembre était très amical et ACCOMMODATIF. Ensuite, globalement, je recommande cet hôtel et je lui donnerai un 10/10stars. Plus de puissance!
