Le personnel de la réception était très serviable. L'hôtel étant situé en centre-ville, il y a beaucoup de choses à proximité, donc aucun problème particulier. La climatisation, la température de la douche et le débit d'eau étaient corrects. J'ai séjourné dans une chambre simple. La chambre faisait environ la moitié de la taille d'un hôtel d'affaires, et la chambre et la salle de bain étaient assez petites, mais c'était suffisant pour dormir. Le seul inconvénient était l'absence de prises près du lit, j'ai donc dû débrancher la télévision, qui était fixée au milieu du mur. Elle était située en hauteur, donc c'était un peu compliqué.

La chambre était assez spacieuse et disposait d'un balcon. Bien qu'annoncée comme non-fumeur, elle contenait un cendrier. L'emplacement était correct, à 20 kilomètres de l'aéroport, facilement accessible par autoroute et tunnel. En revanche, le service était incroyablement lent ; il n'y avait ni papier toilette ni poubelle dans la chambre, chose que je n'avais jamais vue auparavant. Mais à ce prix-là, on ne peut pas trop s'attendre à mieux, n'est-ce pas ?

Grande environnement propre pour le personnel, vraiment la valeur du prix, bonne position J' ai séjourné près d' un mois et j' ai aimé , il y a cuisine et frigo pour garder votre personnel , j' ai aimé le temps là-bas

We had a very good stay overall. Considering Cairo standards, the apartment was clean enough and comfortable. The neighborhood and location were excellent, with plenty of great restaurants and cafés nearby. It’s also very close to the Nile—about a 7-minute walk. There are restaurants on boats along the river where you can enjoy a meal while taking in the view, and you can even go on a Nile cruise from the same area. Honestly, we didn’t need to take a taxi at all for dining or cafés. There’s also a really nice café right at the corner with excellent coffee—I highly recommend it. The building itself was very quiet, and we didn’t hear any noise from neighbors at all. The only noise was from traffic on the street (cars and motorbikes), which is normal and not really a downside of the apartment. The building had a security guard, and we were even able to leave our luggage with him after check-out, which made it much easier for us to explore the city before our flight. Finally, special thanks to Michael, the host. He was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. No matter what time we messaged him, he always responded and guided us with any questions we had.

J'ai rencontré des gens sympas et le personnel de la réception était vraiment accueillant. Les douches sont petites et partagées avec les toilettes, mais tout fonctionne correctement. Il y avait même quelques chats adorables de temps en temps :) J'étais un peu désorientée pour trouver l'entrée en arrivant tard dans la nuit. Mon seul point à améliorer serait de réparer la moustiquaire de la fenêtre. Quelques moustiques particulièrement agressifs sont sortis pendant la nuit pour me dévorer. On peut cuisiner et mettre des aliments au réfrigérateur.

I had a pleasant stay at Montana Hotel. The two young women at reception were fantastic—very helpful, attentive, and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The hotel itself is comfortable enough and in a great central location, ideal for exploring downtown Cairo. One small detail to note: the lift doesn’t have floor numbers displayed in English, so it’s useful to know that the hotel is located on the 7th floor. Overall, a good value stay with excellent service at the front desk.

When we arrived, it was a little difficult to find the building, because there was no sign of Lucky Hostel in the lobby. However a very persistent man outside, insisted that the building with sign “El otel”, is the correct building. We trust him and we entered. Another problem, it looked like to use the elevator to 4th floor, we must have access card. We wait for about 5 minutes and fortunately there was a man came down, and we asked his help to tap on the elevator using his card. Other than that, my husband & I were happy to stay in this hostel. Our room was so big and with sofa too!! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hot shower was very pleasant in cold morning. And we were very happy that the staff allow us to put our luggage while we were away to Luxor. We stay for total of 4 nights and we were allowed again to put our luggage while we went shopping, because our flight was in the middle of the night.

Ahmed is the best staff in this hotel. The hotel is relatively new so decor is good and the air conditioning is working well. Daily cleaning of the room is not possible unless you pay extra money for the services. It takes a lot of efforts to communicate with the female staff in general (and there was one day when one cleaning woman totally moved my personal belongings for no reason, when I was out). There were 4 days when Internet wasn't working at all. I finally raised the issue via trip.com and they sent an engineer to change the wifi equipment in the rooms so Internet finally resumed.

Dans l'ensemble, la chambre était correcte. Elle aurait besoin de quelques rénovations. Il y avait des problèmes avec l'eau, notamment des variations de pression. Se laver les cheveux longs était compliqué. 🥲 Le petit-déjeuner a connu quelques retards et un certain désordre ; j'ai dû le rappeler, mais le personnel s'est excusé et a expliqué qu'il s'agissait d'un dysfonctionnement. L'emplacement est idéal, en plein centre, avec le métro à proximité. L'hôtel était difficile à trouver, évidemment, car il n'y a pas d'enseigne ; il y a une sorte d'entrée principale, puis il faut monter au cinquième étage, et on y est.
