Check in quick. Room was surprisingly large, next to noisy family but can’t be helped. Huge bed! Plus a bed for our soon and a camp bed! Plenty of space and very modern. Tv had no remote so had to go to reception and ask for one. Ordered room service but had to go to desk to pay and told one minute it wouldn’t be ready until gone 6 (an hour after ordering) but turned up within half hour. I’d say that’s the only downside was the conflicting info given by staff. Spa is nice, small pool area and steam and sauna again very small and was super busy so had to wait to enter both. I didn’t stay long as kids only allowed in between 4&6 and I’m morning slot also. Would stay again.

We have stayed here several times and fed back to managers about the poor state of the tables & chairs in the breakfast area. Although my feedback (with photos) was not acknowledged, on our last visit just before xmas, we noticed the badly stained and chipped tables had been replaced or refurbished, and the badly stained and dirty seating had been cleaned and/or replaced, so that it now feels comfortable to sit on them. So I'm pleased my feedback may have contributed to these much needed changes.
However the window frames in our room were in a terrible state, covered in black mould and in desperate need of repair or replacement. Not a healthy presence to have anywhere. So hopefully this review will be seen by the right person/people and acted upon.

Great room clean bright and comfortable.
Staff so helpful, lovely receptionist helped with directions and tips for me. I want to go back. Definitely one of the top places I’ve stayed in!

This hotel offers an excellent service from helpful and kind staff. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Free on-site parking. Very tasty breakfast with lots of choice of freshly cooked items. The location overlooks the river with its beautiful tow path walk. Highly recommended for all types of guests.

KKat Marie DuxWe absolutely love staying at the Bromsgrove Hotel & Spa and honestly wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else when we’re up here. I first stayed here in 2015 and have been coming back and forth since. I have family close by but we always end up staying a few days at least at a time and going on some adventures with our little one. It’s the perfect location for us. It feels like a real home from home for us every single time. The hotel is always welcoming, and has such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The swimming pool is a huge favourite for L he absolutely loves it and always gets so excited to go swimming during our stays. It makes such a difference having facilities that he can truly enjoy. What truly makes this place stand out though is the staff. They deserve so much recognition for how amazing, helpful and hardworking they are. Ram, Marie, Luke, Nathan, Chris, Marie, Jason, Dan, ana, faouzi, Abby, Emma, Angel are just a few names to mention, & Phil the chef was 10/10 especially as we have allergens but every single one of them goes above and beyond. They are always friendly, helpful, warm, and genuinely care about their guests. They are especially wonderful with L, which means the world to us because of his additional needs. They make him feel comfortable, included, and happy, and that level of kindness is something you never forget. It’s rare to find somewhere that consistently delivers such amazing service, but this hotel does exactly that every time. We always leave happy and already looking forward to coming back. We also had a lovely girl called Chloe who was housekeeping and she made sure we had everything we needed. This place deserves to be rated so much higher because it truly is a gem. Thank you to all the team for making every stay so special for us

IInvitéL'hôtel était idéalement situé à la gare, aux magasins et aux lieux d'intérêt. La chambre était propre et bien équipée. Le petit déjeuner était brillant. Plusieurs choix et frais cuisines. L'hôtel avait des installations de gym, bien que je n'en aie pas utilisé. Et surtout, il avait un parking de voiture qui est très rare.

IInvitéA beautiful location with stunning views. The hotel interior was a perfect mix of traditional and contemporary. Our room was right at the top of the building and, although very small, it was well designed and very clean. The service was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough to help you. We had dinner in the bar, which was tasty and arrived quickly and hot! All in all, The Cottage in the Woods is a perfect place for a quiet break with a little luxury. We will definitely be returning.

IInvitéL'Angel est un excellent séjour de nuit. Le parking est très bien situé à l'excellent endroit de la rue Broad et du 8ème lieu, une fois que nous sommes arrivés et parqués dans le parc de voiture gratuit de l'hôtel, nous n'avons pas dû conduire de nouveau jusqu'à notre départ. J'aimerais revoir à l'avenir.

Nous avions préalablement réservé un repas de soirée - le repas et le service étaient 5*
Le petit déjeuner était aussi bien que le gd. Nous avons eu un sommeil vraiment gd. C'était une soirée très chaude - l'hôtel avait fourni un fan qui signifie que notre sommeil n'était pas perturbé.
Il recommanderait et retournera quand dans la zone
