Our stay at Chalet Ivy Jozankei was truly memorable and one of the best luxury hotel experiences we have had in Japan. The hotel is beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and the hospitality from most of the staff was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady at reception (whose name I unfortunately did not catch), who shared that she personally grows the beautiful flowers displayed in the hotel's sitting area. That personal touch immediately made us feel at home. Mr. Tai, who checked us in, was friendly, patient, courteous and professional. He took the time to explain the room features and hotel facilities in detail, making us feel genuinely welcomed. The cleanliness deserves special recognition. I am particularly sensitive to cleanliness and usually notice dust very easily, yet I could not find a single speck of dirt anywhere in the room. It is honestly one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The lounge was another highlight. Each guest received a ¥1,000 alcoholic drink credit, and the complimentary snacks featured premium Hokkaido brands such as LeTAO, Yoshimi and Ryugetsu, making the experience feel truly luxurious. Dinner was outstanding. Every course was beautifully presented and delicious, while the restaurant staff provided attentive and polished service. The hotel's tasteful interior perfectly complemented the stunning views of the lush greenery and Toyohira River. We were also delighted to find beautifully cut and chilled melon and strawberries waiting in our room upon arrival. It was a thoughtful welcome that reflected the hotel's exceptional attention to detail. Breakfast was equally impressive, with beautifully prepared dishes that made each morning enjoyable. The private onsen in our room was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay, allowing us to relax while enjoying the peaceful natural surroundings. While our overall experience was excellent, I have a few suggestions for improvement. One Japanese male staff member who was on duty during check-in and later that evening came across as rather cold. On several occasions, I smiled and greeted him, but he did not acknowledge me and simply walked away. The contrast with the warmth shown by the rest of the team was quite noticeable. As such a premium property, it would also be wonderful if the hotel could offer more cultural or wellness activities, such as tea appreciation sessions, guided evening walks or seasonal experiences. During a previous stay at Capella Singapore, these activities became some of the most memorable parts of our visit, and I believe Chalet Ivy Jozankei has the perfect setting to offer something similar. I would also like to suggest a different restaurant seating arrangement for tables of four. Currently, only two guests can enjoy the beautiful river and greenery views while the other two face the interior of the restaurant. Arranging the tables perpendicular to the windows would allow all four guests to enjoy the spectacular scenery during their meal. Lastly, although we appreciated receiving tickets to the Summer Night Illumination Festival, accessing the main street requires walking up a very steep slope that is shared with vehicles, which could be challenging and potentially unsafe for elderly guests. In the future, perhaps a pedestrian bridge connecting Level 5 directly to the street level could improve accessibility and safety. Overall, Chalet Ivy Jozankei delivered an exceptional luxury experience with outstanding cleanliness, thoughtful hospitality, remarkable cuisine and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so memorable.

Comfort moderne avec service exceptionnel. Nous avons récemment séjourné dans ce nouveau hôtel 3 nuits et nous avons été profondément impressionnés. L'atmosphère et la salle: L'hôtel dispose d'un design propre et méditerranéen. La chambre était de bonne taille, pas trop petite pour 2 personnes, et parfaitement entretenue. ิิิิฺ-Les équipements modernes, dont une machine Nespresso et une télévision intelligente avec Netflix, ont fait notre séjour très confortable quand on neige dehors. - Vous avez une chambre confortable et confortable. Service: Les personnes qui sont ici sont les vraies étoiles. Ils sont vraiment amis, nous saluerons toujours avec un sourire. Ils sont allés au-delà en aidant à pré-réserver un taxi à taux fixe pour notre transfert aéroport, ce qui a fait notre départ matinal début sans stress. We stayed 6 nights in Hotel Sosei Sapporo. It takes 10-12 minutes walk from Sapporo station, the hotel just located next to Sapporo Factory, a historical building which became a shopping mall. We satisfied with all the services provided by the hotel, including breakfast, welcome drinks, room service and reception. Most of the hotel staff can speak English, they are friendly and helpful. Definitely we will stay in this hotel again if visit Sapporo again.

Hôtel de grand standing. Personnel au top. Nous avons réservé cet hôtel pour notre vol partant tôt le matin. Chambre spacieuse et super équipée. On a profité de l’onsen. Hôtel accole à l’aéroport international. L’ascenseur mène directement au hall dépar et arrivée. Prévoir le dîner avant 20h car pas de room service et tout est fermé à l’aéroport après 20h.

Exceptional Private Onsen & Hokkaido Flavors. Overall Impression: A perfect blend of convenience and cozy. Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area. Hightlights: The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the ”His&Her” sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch. Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries. Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless. Observations: Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity. Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV. Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door. Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action.

Hotel is located close to the station so it was easy access from the airport. We checked in around 20:00 and we booked a bus runs by hotel (2,000yen per person) go to Hakodate mountain to see this famous night view. It was the last two seats so if you are thinking to go better to book in advance. Hotel also runs complementary shuttle bus around the city - easy access to every sightseeing place. Breakfast buffet was great, they have a little their own inconvenient store in the hotel so you don’t have to go out to buy something that you need. The lounge area was also great. after we took a bath we both and ice cream and we sat down there walking at the traditional sea glasses lamps which was pretty good time.

Réservez une navette🚌 : l'hôtel ne propose pas de navette depuis l'aéroport, mais il existe une navette Sapporo. Prenez le JR de l'aéroport à la gare de Sapporo, prenez le métro de la ligne Nord-Sud🚇, descendez à la gare d'Odori et. Montez jusqu'à la sortie n°1 du métro. Attendez le bus au bâtiment Showa. Il y a deux bus par jour, nous avons pris le bus à 14h30. Nous tenons à remercier la gouvernante de l'hôtel Ctrip qui nous a aidé. J'ai réservé la navette aller-retour et j'ai pris la peine de nous aider à le confirmer. Je tiens à leur donner un coup de pouce 👍. Environnement hôtelier : L'environnement est de première classe👍 Le 2ème étage mène à la source chaude♨️Il y a une aire de repos, et des snacks et des boissons sont disponibles à partir de 9h. Le soir, vous pouvez boire du vin japonais, des gâteaux au matcha et des choux sont tous super délicieux😋. L'hôtel propose un petit-déjeuner buffet et un menu pour le dîner, tous deux plutôt bons ! La source chaude dans la source chaude privée dans la chambre♨️ : C'est différent de l'approvisionnement en eau domestique. Le serveur nous a dit que la source chaude avait été installée pour nous le jour de notre entrée et qu'elle était pleine toute la journée. toute la nuit, l'eau était encore chaude😜 Dans l’ensemble, détendez-vous et profitez de la première classe !

I had an enjoyable stay at Akan Yuku no Sato Tsuruga. The hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere and is a wonderful place to experience the beauty of Lake Akan. The service was excellent throughout my stay. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional, always greeting guests with a smile and making every interaction pleasant. Their hospitality really enhanced the overall experience. The onsen facilities were one of the highlights of the hotel. They are spacious, beautifully designed, and have a luxurious feel, offering a great variety of indoor and outdoor baths. The only minor drawback was that the top-floor outdoor bath did not appear to be as clean as the other baths. Overall, the onsen experience was still great. The room was a little on the compact side, but it was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, I had a great stay and Akan Yuku no Sato Tsuruga is a great choice in Lake Akan.

Hotel is nice and the service is excellent, most of the staff can speak english and they full of passion to customer. The only downside is they dont have a gym room but overall the hotel is recommended.

Even though there was an earthquake, the hotel staff handled it well. There were no damage to any facilities, building was well engineered, and the announcements were made promptly with smooth transitions. The hotel was very clean and tidy, and clean amenities were replenished daily for multiple days when we stayed. The hotel also has a very nice touch of decor and a small abbey inside. The location of the hotel was very convenient to most places. The hotel staff were also patient and helpful especially when we came as a group of guests. They have made sure to return misplaced belongings with politeness and care.
