We stayed at Pyhalinna and overall found the apartment itself to be decent. The facilities inside the unit were quite complete and convenient. However, the cleanliness was disappointing — the bed sheets were not clean when we arrived. The funny (and slightly frustrating) part was that after we reported it, someone came to do a light cleaning of the room (even though we were previously told mid-stay cleaning required an extra fee), but the sheets still weren’t changed. The property is ski-in/ski-out and located next to the “family slope,” but there are many areas that really need improvement. First of all, for beginners without a car, it takes around 30 minutes to walk down to the base area to rent equipment(experienced can use the shop on the mountain), and the path is quite unsafe. Honestly, this alone almost made me give a one-star review. Secondly, the so-called family slope wasn’t fully open, and the upper section was surprisingly steep — definitely not what we expected for a family-friendly run. Returning the rental equipment was also inconvenient; you must ski all the way to the bottom because the shop on the mountain doesn’t accept returns. After returning our equipment, we were very lucky that the ski patrol officer Markus kindly offered to take us back up the hotel. We really appreciated his help — without him, it would have been another long and difficult walk. There are simply many practical issues that should be improved. I truly hope the resort can learn from more established ski destinations to create a safer and more beginner-friendly experience. The positive interactions with the staff were the main reason we didn’t give this place a one-star rating — they truly made a difference despite the other issues. Le logement est très mal situé, en bord de route, ce qui empêche de bien dormir. Le lieu a des lumières qui clignotent jusqu’à 3 heures du matin, ce qui empêche d’observer les étoiles ou de regarder les aurores boréales. Si vous souhaitez rattraper votre sommeil le matin, oubliez cette idée ! Les Husky aboient des 8 heures du matin. La salle d’eau est toute petite, l’accès à l’eau chaude est de 15 minutes (puis eau froide pendant 30 minutes) et pour bénéficier d’un sauna (dans un autre endroit) il faut payer environ 100 euros. J’ai payé 10 euros de plus pour avoir un lit bébé alors que le prix du lieu est déjà clairement très surcôté ! Le restaurant n’est pas très bon et les gens qui se sont enregistrés à la réception ou sont sur le départ traversent en plein milieu créant un courant d’air horrible. J’ai du quémander du lait chaud lors du petit déjeuner (qui n’est pas proposé). Par ailleurs, les boissons sont en plus et ce même en demi-pension. La chambre est clairement trop petite pour deux adultes et un enfant (+ un bébé). Les activités sont hors de prix. Nous avions séjourné à plusieurs endroits et pris une nuit seulement dans ce logement et heureusement !! Un rapport qualité prix qui n’est pas du tout à la hauteur.

Dans la maison en bois rouge située dans le village du Père Noël, l'hôtel vous aidera à livrer vos bagages dans la chambre lors de votre enregistrement, mais lors de votre départ, vous devrez traîner vos bagages jusqu'au hall pour vérifier. traînez vos bagages dans la neige. Mais séjourner une nuit au Village du Père Noël en Finlande était globalement très atmosphérique : nous avons pu voir une petite aurore dès que nous avons franchi la porte, ce qui a été une grande chance. Il y a aussi un sauna indépendant dans la chambre. Après avoir observé les aurores et plongé dans le sauna, tout mon corps est excité. De plus, la pièce est assez grande. De plus, le petit déjeuner est bien sûr très copieux. 

Bad management during check in. I book an Apartment for 2 nights for this stay but I got the room for 1 night each. Staff told me I have to change room tomorrow and check out at 12PM. So that mean first night I stay and tomorrow check out 12PM and wait for a new room. Also, the apartment is very far from reception. Luckily, I have a car. Imagine if I don't have a car, I have to carry big luggage from the apartment to reception to check out and wait for new room later and move my luggage to new room again, how was it? Moreover, when I check out at 12PM staff told me the room will ready for check in around 2 hours. Then came back to check in again for second at 3PM another staff told me the room is not ready yet and policy for the Apartment check in time is 6PM. ***!!! I said I need the room now because this is unacceptable. Then staff told me the room is ready and give me the key card. So, for this situation I waste the time for half day to pack my luggage, move a lot of luggage to my car with a lot of snow, check out, go to reception for check out, wait the new room, wait, wait, wait, and come back to check in and got very bad answer that she told the room is not ready, and go to check in again, move my luggage to new apartment with a lot of snow, and take a rest. VERY BAD!!!!!

The staff of the Villa is very helpful and the reception is locared in the main building with a souvenir shop and a small snow castle. It's pitiful that I checked in late and checked out early in the next day's morning, and could not enjoy the beautiful sunset in the Villa.

La chambre était bonne et confortable. Il était proche de l'autobus de shuttle de l'appartement Appuka si vous avez réservé des activités avec eux. Le petit déjeuner était également bon. Tous les magasins et restaurants nécessaires sont fermés et autour du coin. Je choisirais cet hôtel encore si je revenais. Merci de me stocker mes bagages du matin jusqu'à près de 6.30pm

Bon sauna, une bonne prise en compte de la diete de veg au petit-déjeuner. Les végétaux sont particulièrement bons, ainsi que le végétaux

Nous sommes une famille de 5 personnes et avons réservé 2 chambres familiales dans cet hôtel. Les chambres étaient grandes, comparées à un autre hôtel de Rovaniemi dans lequel nous avons séjourné et les équipements étaient merveilleux. Utilisation gratuite du sauna, salle de sport ouverte 24h/24, juste en face du supermarché et surtout, l'hôtel dispose d'un micro-ondes qui vous permet de réchauffer les plats apportés du supermarché ! Quelle affaire!. Quelques points à améliorer, ce serait bien si le sauna pouvait être ouvert 24h/24 au lieu de fermer à 22h. Si l'hôtel peut fournir des ustensiles comme une cuillère et une fourchette, ce sera encore plus génial. Dans l’ensemble, notre meilleur séjour à Rovaniemi pour le prix, je pense que c’est une bonne affaire. Oh, BTW, Burger King et McDonald sont juste en face et sont également ouverts 24h/24.

La chalet est très bien et confortable avec une vue sur les fenêtres et sur le balcon. Le chalet privé a une deuxième chambre que nous n'avons pas utilisé comme ma fille et moi-même préféré le premier étage. Le petit déjeuner était excellent avec une grande sélection, nous aimé le fabricant de waffles! Le personnel était tout à fait utile et agréable. Globalement, parfait Chalet, nous vous recommanderions certainement de rester ici, nous avons eu un grand temps!

Lovely hotel in city centre easy access to other places. Rooms compact, clean and restaurant excellent. Only negative is some rooms windows face directly on car park needs net curtain to block. Should warn customers prior to stay about view from those rooms as is a privacy issue and disappointing to keep curtains closed all the time for privacy. Good for those with allergies food clearly labelled.
