A beautiful sea front hotel with stunning views. Very well located with great access to Paestum and Old Castellabate. It is just a short walk to the town with everything you might need. You can follow the road or walk along the beach, however you may need your phone torch for a very short section along the beach at night. There is free parking with the hotel which is located in the town; a lovely porter will shuttle you to and from your car. There are some spaces right outside the hotel for ease with bags and disabled spaces there too. The rooms are large and very clean with incredibly comfortable beds. We had a sea view and a lovely balcony. The showers here are amazing! The hotel boasts its own private beach, which is sand and staff will arrange loungers for you, you can access the bar from the beach using the QR code on your umbrella. Lovely clear water and an amazing sunset experience sat in the beach bar. Mostly excellent service, we only had an issue with one of the receptionists, who had some attitude but everyone else was very friendly and helpful. There was Maximillian on reception, who was fantastic, a lovely blonde on the beach bar with the friendliest smile and was really enthusiastic and last but certainly not least the porter who was so very generous and helpful. There are lots of bars within the hotel, all with differing opening hours listed in the elevators. You receive and amazing snack variety with drinks. We never ate at the hotel as we decided to go into town, but if we stayed again we definitely would as the breakfast was very good. I personally prefer a savoury breakfast, however my mother says the apricot tart there is superb (a regional speciality I believe). The chocolate cake looked delicious, but sadly I had to abstain as I was attending a wedding shortly after. I had hoped for some tomatoes to go with my breakfasts, but there were not any provided. There was every kind of milk or juice available and plenty of fresh fruit, preserves and yoghurts. Hams, cheeses, eggs and a full patisserie selection. The pain au chocolat style Italian pastry I am told was delicious along with some of the doughnut looking types of food. There are lots of nice touches around the hotel and in the bedroom giving an air of luxury, such as the towelling slippers, which were very much appreciated and used. I believe there is a spa, but I did not visit it. Our only gripe about the hotel was that some tables were closed off during our stay as the cushions were being laundered, this limited seating space at the beach bar, there were some very comfortable seated areas dotted around on different levels of the hotel, however these were not well served by bars and too many different elevator rides to take our own drinks there. The bar on the middle section should be open all day to cover these areas in my opinion. Also I am of the opinion that a 4 star hotel should not have a bar that closes, there should always be somewhere open to get a nightcap sho

Nous avons séjourné 8 jours au Mec et c'è fit une expérience unique que nous renouvellerons. De l'hotel en général, aux chambres, à la piscine, à la cuisine jusqu'au personel de salle tout est géré avec soin et attention. Nous faisons plus particulièrement nos compliments au Directeur de salle Antonino qui avec sympathie mais surtout avec grand professionalisme nous a guidé durante tout notre séjour. Motif pour lequel nous reviendrons surement ! Hotel vivement conseillé pour un séjour ou la découverte et la détente est assuré !

Nous avons réservé une chambre double exécutive pour 2 nuits dans cet hôtel. L'hôtel est connecté à Osteria Arbustico, un restaurant Michelin. Nous avons été informés lors de l'enregistrement que la piscine était fermée pour ce jour. Il y avait un lieu de mariage toute la journée et nous avons découvert que les hôtes occupaient tous les espaces disponibles, donc il n'y avait pas de chambre pour les autres hôtes qui étaient aubergés. Aucune possibilité de manger, de boire rien. Notre chambre était plus celle d'un motel. Il était séparé de l'hôtel dans un bloc avec d'autres chambres. Nous avons eu une vue sur notre terrasse sur le parking, la salle de bains, les climatisations et lave-vaisselle propres pendant dehors. La chambre était petite et avait une petite douche datée. Le deuxième jour, nous sommes allés à la piscine. À notre surprise, nous avons trouvé le verre brisé, les cigarettes, les olives, le fromage et tout ce que vous pouvez penser de laisser derrière les invités bien aimés du jour précédent. Nous n'avons pas demandé de tout spécial ou de tout rabais ou quoi que ce soit mais n'ayant pas été pris au sérieux, c'était la principale irritation que nous avions. Notre conseil : vérifiez à l'avance si l'hôtel n'a pas d'événements et en raison du gestionnaire nous disons que cet hôtel est digne de 2 étoiles.

Positives 1. Parking for the apartments is right next to the apartments. 2. There is a decent sized swimming pool that we had access to next to the apartment so we didn’t need to use the bigger pool that was used for weddings. 4. The pool we used was a 1 minute walk from the apartment and wasn’t busy. 5. The bedroom was of a good size. 6. The kitchenette was functional. 7. It was possible to wash our baby in the bathroom, although tight the shower was big enough to put our travel inflatable baby bath in the base. 8. Beach was very nice as long as you sat in the 3rd row of chairs it was free. 9. The smell of eucalyptus trees on the way to the beach was nice. 10. The sea was a 10 minute walk, even with the baby and the heat it was easy to do and didn’t use the shuttle bus once. 11. Local shops are limited but good enough. (Didn’t find any baby formula though) 12. The staff were as accommodating with questions as my no Italian and their broken English allowed. 13. They let us settle our bill the night before we left as we were leaving early and they said there would only be a skeleton staff. 14. Using toll roads it’s only about 1 and half hours from Naples airport. (Don’t leave “avoid tolls” on like I did initially as that drive wasn’t fun and took and extra hour) 15. Toll was €2.10, I used cards and this worked every time although the transaction on a Sunday didn’t appear on my statement for 2 days, all other days the toll came off the card immediately. 16. We used the big pool in the photos once. It was nice and the baby liked it on a day when there weren’t any weddings. 17. Paestum really was very close and fully worth a visit. 18. Pompeii was only about an hour away with a €2.10 toll each way. 19. Decent safe in the bedroom, could fit my 13” laptop. 20. Hair dryer in bathroom was ok. Negatives 1. The large pool was closed for weddings between 12:30 and 15:30 and not cleaning as we had been told. 2. We weren’t disrupted by the weddings but they were every day from what a guest staying in the main hotel said. 3. No kettle in the apartment. 4. No iron in the apartment. 5. Massive sink in a small bathroom was a bit odd. 6. The shower, glass door runner always jammed and had clearly been “repaired” at some point. The kitchen tap and the shower water are connected so don’t use them both at the same time or the temperature gets very severely affected. 7. The apartment only had a single free bed linen change which did not include a room clean. 8. There was a €40 charge to clean the room which included towels and bed linen change 9. The AC only went down to 21° 10. The large AC unit outside between the apartments and the car park was very noisy and could be heard in the apartment at night. 11. Reception staff had better English than I have Italian, not really a bad point but a bit difficult as I have no Italian. I used google translate a lot. 12. Breakfast was very limited. J'ai séjourné dans ce boutique hôtel de Paestum pendant quelques jours et je me suis trouvée très bien, même si certaines améliorations sont plus que souhaitables. La location est délicieuse, les chambres larges et propres et le personnel agréable et disponible. La position près de la zone archéologique et des restaurants de la route Tavernelle pour la nuit rendent l'hôtel parfait pour une vacance à Paestum. Exemples d'erreurs professionnelles à éviter (on définit cependant une 4 étoiles...): à l'arrivée, personne n'a proposé de nous aider avec les valises ni de nous montrer la chambre pour vérifier que tout était en ordre et à notre satisfaction. Si vous choisissez de mettre dans la chambre l'eau de courtoisie, elle est renouvelée quotidiennement, et ceci dans cinq jours que nous avons restés jamais.De même, les lits, peut-être une fois, aurait été bon de les changer... ainsi que le renouvellement des savons de bain. Le petit déjeuner était également assez modeste, tant en tant que choix que en tant que quantité. le séjour.

Very disappointed. Booked 4 nights after checking on line that everything was still open. We arrived by train and everything looked okay. The first room we were taken to would not unlock after several minutes and feeling rather nervous we were given another room. We then headed to the pool as the weather was nice the pool water fountains weren't working and it did not look very well maintained but we ventured in. Pool bar was closed as was the hotel bar. We then discovered that the restaurant was also closed. Nowhere on the hotels website did it give this information, we had no transport so did the 30 minute walk to the nearest restaurant. Next day after been woken early by yapping dog the weather wasn't good, looked at the indoor pool but again not fully working or maintained and not heated. I complained to reception about the lack of facilities available if we spent time in the hotel, ie no lunch or dinner available and was told they could do some toast at lunch time if I requested it at reception. We took the free bikes out instead and that was the only good thing about this hotel. We had booked 4 nights, something I would not have done if I had known the restaurant was closed. I asked to check out early because of the lack of facilities available to us and was informed it was hotel policy not to refund the un used nights. I understand this in certain circumstances but they did not provide us with the facilities they were advertising. They also advise no pets but that didn't apply to the managers yapping dog that woke us at 7am each morning. We checked out after 2 nights and no they did not refund us for the u used nights. Make sure before you book this hotel everything is open. If not you definitely need a car. I would not recommend this hotel.
