Meilleurs Hôtels de Île Grand Cayman, Caïmans (Îles)

Nous avons séjourné dans ce resort 5 nuits, mi-février . Nous sommes arrivés tard, fatigués après 3 vols épuisants et sans valises ... Premier point positif : l'accueil ; nous étions à l'heure limite pour le service au restaurant et on nous a conseillé d'y aller au plus vite : nous n'avons pas été déçus ; j'en reparlerai . L'hôtel se compose de 2 ( ou 3 ) bâtiments de 2 étages ( rez , 1 et 2 ), style motel et sans ascenseur ; la 1ère nuit, nous avons dormi au 2ème étage, ce qui n'était pas très commode pour nous : pas d'ascenseur . Le lendemain matin, nous avons demandé à occuper un rez de chaussée : le resort étai quasi pleinet les réceptionnistes ont vraiment fait l'impossible pour nous satisfaire : dès l'après - midi, nous avons été upgradés,sans supplément dans une petite suite avec grand salon : divan - lit si besoin et une grande s de b . Je ne peux que conseiller de le réserver au départ, même si vous n'êtes que 2 : meilleur confort pour un long séjour . Vous avez le choix entre 2 formules de petit déjeûner : l'une, comprise dans le prix du logement, se prend dans un petit bâtiment proche et est en buffet plutôt basique : en plus des gâteaux, yaourts, ..., il y a des fruits, des oeufs et des gaufres . Il est tout indiqué si vous partez tôt pour une excursion : vous pouvez aller y chercher des boissons chaudes et de quoi vous nourrir très rapidement ! Sinon, au resto près de la piscine, on sert aussi un excellent petit déj. à la carte, moyennant supplément : préparé minute , excellent et beau choix . Un agréable moment de détente . A propos de cet endroit, c'est un restaurant très prisé dans l'île : ils servent, le soir, au dehors comme à l'intérieur, un beau choix de plats style cubain, mexicain ou plus classique ... , précédés de cocktails très tentants . Service attentionné et sympa, rapide et efficace mais il est prudent de réserver si vous désirez manger dehors, notamment en fin de semaine, dès le jeudi !!! J'en viens au meilleur : le Sunshine ne jouxte pas la plage de Seven Miles mais en est séparé par une route et la rangée d'hôtels très luxueux, en bord de mer : cela vous fait 5 mn de balade pour y aller . Cependant, cerise sur le gâteau, ils ont un accord avec l'hôtel ”jumeau” en vis à vis, le Westin, calme et luxueux, qui offre toutes ses commodités aux hôtes du Sunshine et le tout est inclus dans le prix de base de la chambre : belle piscine ( transats et serviettes gratis ), pareil à la plage privée, accès aux bars et resto de plage ainsi qu'au parking et centre commercial bien varié . C'est un grand plus ! Nous avions, avant de quitter le Resort, oublié là des pulls qui m'étaient indispensables pour la suite du voyage : sans grand espoir, j'ai prévenu l'hôtel et je remercie encore Claudia, manager très serviable, qui me les a fait parvenir en Belgique, moyennant bien sur le paiement du transport ; ils sont arrivés peu après notre retour ! Ce fut un bon moment au milieu de l'hiver européen ...

Listen , I’ve read thru all the reviews and quite frankly , some of the low scoring ones aren’t really fair . I’ve been coming to GC for about a decade now . I’m titanium with Marriott / Ritz ., stayed both places more than once I’ve stayed at Kimpton, Westin, the condos at Caribbean Club ..etc . All of those places have had room issues at more than double the cost to stay , Ritz quadruple the cost per night. Staff issues run the gamut , as I could give you instances in all of those aforementioned places, with staff so out of touch and out of line , they should have been fired on the spot . The beach on 7 mile has very few spots to date , that are glistening and inviting like in the day . Recent storms and erosion have altered it in many stretches , so it’s not exactly stellar . The GC and HI are what they are . They don’t advertise as high end nor do they compete for that market segment . The rooms and 2 bedroom villas in both places are adequate, and the staff , minus a rogue employee , work with the amenities and property at large . 3 star properties , give you just that , occasionally above that in service and view . I chose to stay at both because I don’t care about jumping in the ocean or the need for Ferragamo toiletries , down pillows and Frette bedding . That’s not why I select these properties . I’m fortunate to be able to include nice things in my daily life so coming to GC is about the chill , vibe and the people I’ve come to know . There is a simple shuttle to get you onto the beach , plenty of beautiful views and the bar and restaurant are fun and equal to a good Neighborhood hang out . If your soending un

Le centre de la ville est très bien situé, et le centre de la ville est très bien situé. Je voudrais faire quelques remarques : les chemins doivent être rénovés avec une lumière plus brillante et un nouveau tapis ou une nouvelle affiche, et les chambres doivent être régulièrement éliminées. Nous avons eu plusieurs petits épinards clairs ou tanniers. Nous avons pu les contrôler la plupart avec un pulvérisateur d'insectes. Nous espérons que le dock sera reconstruit et opérationnel avant de revenir. La pression de l'eau chaude dans l'un des baignoires était faible, j'ai partagé l'autre baignoire avec mon mari quand j'avais besoin d'eau chaude. Nous sommes particulièrement heureux que nous puissions prendre nos tests covid-19 pour rentrer aux États-Unis à l'hôtel. Le restaurant Driftwood sur la propriété a une excellente nourriture qui nous a gardés de quitter la propriété pour manger quotidiennement.
