All the seats in their shuttle from the airport were booked so they offered to pay me back the taxi fees (please note that there is a maximum amount). And when you check-in they will provide a welcome pack with every practical things needed to resist the cold weather in Harbin. »

« Un hôtel très économique, non loin de Central Street, et abordable. Je suis resté quatre jours au total et les draps et couettes n'ont pas été changés. La chambre n'a été nettoyée que sur demande. Heureu*****t, quatre bouteilles de Nongfu Spring sont distribuées chaque jour. La salle de bain est séparée des zones humides et sèches et l'eau du bain est très grande, ce qui élimine la fatigue d'une journée de course. « J'ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Il est parfait, tout près de la place principale. Bien qu'un peu caché, cela n'a en rien gâché mon expérience. De plus, le rapport qualité-prix est exceptionnel ; il vaut largement son prix. Les réceptionnistes sont formidables, toujours prêts à rendre service et très polis. Ils utilisent systématiquement un traducteur audio et texte pour une communication claire. À chaque fois que j'arrivais à l'hôtel, ils m'accueillaient chaleureusement. Le service était impeccable : chaque jour, une petite bouteille d'eau était mise à ma disposition dans ma chambre et les produits de toilette étaient renouvelés. J'y avais initialement séjourné deux jours, puis j'étais partie car j'avais réservé dans un autre hôtel. Mais je ne pouvais pas rester longtemps dans cet autre établissement et je suis finalement revenue ici, ce qui était une excellente décision. Lors de mon prochain voyage, je réserverai sans hésiter à nouveau dans cet hôtel. »

« The hotel was able to store my suitcase as I went off to a different trip which is very convenient and I am very pleased with that great surface upon checking I got a perfectly nice room corner room view of the Saint Sophia Cathedral it’s all lovely. I’m really like your hotel that’s said. It is very old hotel. It looks like you’re stepping back in the 80s and nothing has been done since that I found quite disappointing, specially if you set it off against the price they charge. The other thing I find is that the entrance of hotel is a bit strange located that’s there’s no quick fix but know it feels strange. You know what you see.  »

« La chambre d'hôtel était très propre et offrait tout le confort nécessaire. Le lit et la douche étaient excellents ! Cependant, la chambre n'avait pas de fenêtre et la climatisation était en panne, ce qui la rendait vite insupportable, surtout la nuit. Le panneau de commande s'est détaché du mur lorsque nous avons essayé de baisser la température. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas pu dormir de la nuit à cause d'un bruit de cognement constant. Nous soupçonnons que ce soit les canalisations d'eau dans les murs qui produisaient des bruits irréguliers, très forts et continus. Même avec des bouchons d'oreille, impossible de trouver le sommeil, la nuit a donc été très perturbée. Je vous conseille donc d'insister pour changer de chambre ou de chercher un autre hôtel ! »

IInvitéOne of the best homestay ever! Recommended to stay here. Both of the host are very nice and accomodate each of their guest. Even though we communicate using translator that’s not an issue. We have super fun stay and honestly we fell in love with snow village and sad to leave. The host arrange everything from transportation to our snow activities and even recorded and capturing video/photo for us. Just talk to them and they’ll arrange for you. They also offer warm tea/coffee and fruits! Very warm hospitality provided to the guest (feels like home). The bed and floor also warm. Great because the weather outside is super duper cold! Have a nice sleep ever. Deserve more than 5 stars!

NnurelyaWe love staying at Snow Village so much and decided to stay there for 4D3N. Chosen Xinfu Inn after long consideration. We are family of 6 with young kids so we prioritize a place where kids can enjoy playing snow to the fullest. The view was so nice. There is frozen river in front of the inn and a hill at the back of the inn with the snow slides made by the host with a nice landscaping. The host really helpful and treated us like their family-guest. Communication before the stay and during the stay was using WeChat and Google translate 😅. They helped to book bus from Harbin-Xuegu (Snow Village), pay direct to them (CN¥80 one way) using Alipay. They have 2 inns. The first room we booked was the new inn which around 800metres from the main inn. The new inn has modern kang bed and toilet but no play area and lawn to play snow, we have decided to move to the main inn and the host and hostess are happy to move us to the main inn. But the room in the main inn more traditional. The kang bed using old fashioned heating method - wood-burning-stove with bricks that retain the heat. It was very hot with just a layer of thick quilts. Feels like a hot sauna when laying on it. So we can't really sleep at night when the heat still ”fresh”, especially at the side of the bed where the wood is burned. If you sleep at the end of the bed it is much better. And for us personally with one layer of quilt the bed is so hard and not comfortable but it is good experience to live like the locals. The kids really love the snow slides built by the host at the back of the inn. Since we are Muslim, we informed the hostess to prepare food that we can eat - rice, eggs and tofu. The hostess all really understanding and always friendly and loves to play with the kids. The host helped took a nice picture of us with firework but we missed to have a picture playing hot water turned ice. The host helped to book a bus to Snow Town on the third day. Departed at 1pm and back to the Snow Village at 8pm. All the charted bus from Harbin or to Snow Town will come pickup at the front of the inn. Really convenient. We did not go to Wusonglin, instead we went to the local play area where we can play anytime anyday with only one time entrace fees. It just besides the new inn and there are skis, snowboard, snow mobile, ice skating and many mores. With kids, it is really recommended. We truly enjoyed staying at Xinfu inn and will come back in future maybe in other seasons to enjoy the view of the river.

IInvitéHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly. The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon. The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price. I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing. The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games. It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel. Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

NNatDiscoversAsiaI recently stayed at this business hotel in Harbin for two nights, booking the most economical option - the Comfy Queen room. Going in, I understood this was a basic, no-frills accommodation, and I was prepared for that level of service. However, several significant issues made this stay far more frustrating than it needed to be. The cheapest tier comes without a window, which I had accepted when booking. What the hotel failed to mention anywhere in the listing is that these budget rooms are located on the 8th floor, but the elevator only goes up to the 7th floor. This means every  check  in and out requires climbing a TWO full flight of stairs with your luggage. Had I known this critical detail upfront, I would have either chosen a more expensive room or, more likely, selected a different hotel entirely. This information should be clearly disclosed during booking, as it’s a significant accessibility and convenience issue, especially for travelers with heavy bags or mobility concerns. The most irritating incident occurred on my second night. After spending the day exploring Harbin in freezing temperatures, exhausted and literally frozen solid, I returned to find my room key card had been deactivated. This meant I had to climb down the stairs from the 8th floor, take the elevator down from the 7th floor to reception, wait while staff sorted out their mistake, then reverse the entire journey - elevator up to 7th, stairs up to 8th. This was completely avoidable and purely the result of careless staff work. When you’re already cold and tired, being forced to make this unnecessary journey because of administrative incompetence is genuinely maddening. Adding insult to injury, I discovered after my stay that there are much better hotel options directly at the metro and high-speed rail (HSR) exits. These alternatives offer superior convenience without the stair-climbing requirement as I’ve stayed in some of those chains before.. The location of this hotel doesn’t offer any particular advantages to compensate for its drawbacks, making the choice to stay here even more regrettable. For my next trip to Harbin, I’ll be choosing one of the hotels that are closer to HSR or metro exits. Unless you specifically need to be in this exact location and are booking a higher-tier room with elevator access, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere if the cost difference is not much. There are simply better value options available that won’t leave you climbing stairs multiple times a day or dealing with preventable administrative hassles.
