Joli hôtel bien entretenu, calme à taille humaine proche du centre ville et de jolies plages à pied. Jolie chambre. La salle de bain manque de rangement. Pas de quoi faire sécher ses serviettes. Le personnel pas particulièrement souriant. La Demi pension à l'exterieur servi entre 18 et 20h!! Restaurant géré par le gérant de l'hôtel Beaucoup trop tôt et personnel du restaurant pas très aimable qui jette les plats les uns après les autres alors même que l'apéritif n'est pas terminé. C'est vraiment dommage.

La chambre était spacieuse et froide sans décoration de climatisation. J'ai réservé un endroit avec un restaurant tranquille et bien équipé parce qu'il était un hébergement de lune de miel. Le bar tapas était délicieux et le petit déjeuner était super. Les oiseaux qui se déchirent chaque matin sont toujours dans mes oreilles! La distance est très loin du centre-ville de Mallorca. Je vous recommande de venir profiter de cet hôtel tout à fait! J'ai pas eu le plaisir de tous les trois jours de séjour, y compris les restaurants, les spas et les piscines de l'hôtel. Il est très bon de manger des fruits frais chaque matin. L'hôtel est bon pour venir avec des amis de famille. Je resterai certainement encore si je vais à Mallorca ^^

We stayed for for two weeks half board during September family of three . We opted for this hotel because it wasn’t geared towards younger children , and due to the positive reviews regarding the pool area , spacious rooms and food. Thankfully most tourists were couples of families with older children. The location is quite it takes 30 minutes to walk into Sa Coma at a slow steady pace, the nearest bar is within 15 minutes of the hotel (Delaynies Bar, )we don’t recommend this bar it’s dated run down, and basically a tourist trap purportedly offering the cheapest drinks in town , a Baileys cost 8 Euro and is smaller than a standard measure , the glasses are dirty the entire place needs refurbishing. We arrived at the hotel just before midnight check in was smooth , we were informed due to missing our meals a cold buffet had been placed in the fridge, when we entered the room we were disappointed to realise there wasn’t anything in the fridge, we were left three small bottles of water , no milk, tea bags or cups resulting in us having to go back to reception to ask for cups, milk teabags to enable us to make a drink. The rooms are spacious but dated, the sofa beds are not suitable for adults or older teenagers, hotel staff refused to accommodate our request for three single beds despite being informed I was due hip replacement surgery and as our son is in his late he is too old to sleep on a cot bed, the hotel wasn’t fully booked so no reason why hotel staff couldn’t accommodate our request. The air-Con in the room is antiquated and temperamental switching on/ off randomly, no mosquito nets on the doors, no full pool view unless you stand up ( we paid for a superior apartment) The pool area is fantastic lots of sun beds plenty for everyone, calm peaceful atmosphere and a great snack bar offering reasonably priced drinks and snacks- A large Coke costs 2.25 Euro, a large beer 3.5 Euro , cocktails are superb freshly made in a shaker , most cocktails cost 5Euro a pina colada costs 6 Euro . The drinks are cheaper than those found in the main resort and far superior in terms of volume and quality, buy a cocktail you won’t be disappointed. The animation team are lovely they kept our teenager entertained with aqua gym, darts, skittles, a special thanks to Gorka and Maria and the other girls. Brian and Miguel at the pool bar were also friendly and helpful making tasty snacks and drinkswith a smile, the guy with the grey hair at the main bar made fantastic cocktails and was always happy and helpful all staff are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast is great the hotel restaurant offers a wide choice of food which is good quality and cooked to a good standard, unfortunately I can’t say the same about food in the evening which is geared towards German guests , food labelling is also problematic again German tourists are prioritised all food was labelled in German making it difficult for us to determine what was on offer , we had a couple of shocks

Ayant réservé dans un autre hôtel de cala d’or , nous avons eu la désagréable surprise de voir que notre réservation n’a pas été pris en compte ( surbooking ? ), et la direction de l’hôtel nous a loger à l’hôtel calador pour une nuit. Nous connaissons bien cet hôtel car nous y avons séjourné il y a quelques années. A l’époque c’était un trois étoiles , désormais un 4 etoiles. Et c’est vrai que tout a changé : c’est un mélange de luxe et de tranquillité. A la réception nous avons eu un très bon accueil malgré l’arrivée plus que tardive . Là personne nous a accompagné dans notre chambre ( la 120 de souvenir). Très belle chambre avec une literie parfaite , Seul défaut : la climatisation était très bruyante. Nous avons entrebâillé notre fenêtre et nous nous sommes endormis au bruit des vagues. Le petit déjeuner était excellent avec plusieurs machines à café ( broyeur à grain ) étaient disséminées à plusieurs endroits dans la salle ( idéales pour éviter de faire la queue ). Le jus de fruit était frais , la charcuterie digne d’un hôtel français le tout dans un calme absolu . Vous pouvez manger a l’intérieur climatisé ou à l’extérieur. Bref c’était excellent. Je ne peux juger le reste de l’hôtel car nous sommes repartis à notre hôtel d’origine ( commentaire à venir …) L’hôtel calador est un 4 étoiles et franchement il le mérite . Nous reviendrons séjourné dans cet hôtel . Note :18/20

Our cash was stolen from the room while having breakfast. We know the cash was in our wallets because we paid in cash for dinner the night before. Also, it was gone from my and my wife’s wallets so it couldn’t be just lost or coincidence. The only time we didn’t have our back packs that contained our wallets in them was during this breakfast just before checking-out. The breakfast took 15 minutes max. We stayed at the 2nd floor. Balcony doors and windows were closed. Even wooden sun covers were closed. Doors were locked with a key upon leaving for breakfast (not a card lock). The staff was uncooperative in helping to resolve the issue and refused to show security recordings for some vague “legal” reasons (basically balming GDPR). Room service (cleaners) were trying to enter our room for at least 3 times while we stayed at the hotel. One time just 3-4 hours after our check-in they were trying to enter the room but couldn’t as the key was inserted from inside. When I came out of the room asking what do they want they looked surprised that we’re there (we were sleeping because we had an overnight ferry) and asked if we need a new towel or toilet paper. Seems strange when this happens 3 hours after you enter freshly prepared room after check-in. When we reported about the theft via booking site messages to the staff, we almost got threatened for accusing them for stealing which we did not in the first place. The receptionist that has spoken english pretty ok while checking-out (we still didn’t know that we were robbed), has totally forgotten how to speak english when we arrived at the lobby after finding out about the theft. She said she cannot understand us and doesn’t speak english :) We paid in cash for the stay in the hotel and paid in cash at the bar for the drinks. It would be just another theft from a hotel room, probably, if it wasnt done in a broad daylight, in 15 minutes time that we were out of the room that was locked and had its balcony’s door closed (including the wooden sun covers). Cannot directly point the fingers to the staff or room service, cause I have no evidence and weren’t allowed to review security recordings, but this raises too damn many questions. I hope the police will be given the access to the security footage and will find out what has happened. If I were you, I would avoid this hotel. This has totally ruined our vacation mood (at least tenporarily) because it is really really disgusting to be robbed and then be treated rude and suspiciously by the staff.
