We had our family Christmas here. Besides the nice design of the hotel and the clean rooms, there is nothing good about this place. The service here was unfriendly, slow, and disorganized from the start of our booking through check out. The staff seems to be mainly comprised of grumpy trainees. They also don’t seem to speak German or English very well, which understandably makes it difficult to provide good service. The painful experience started with the booking process. Our group wanted a block of 6 suites. The reservations team took 7-9 days to respond between each email, sometimes only after me following up. In the week leading up to our stay, the team was a bit more responsive, but in general they made it needlessly difficult to organize our stay with them. When we arrived, we didn’t even get a “hello” from the reception. The keys were shoved in our face and no info or help was offered (no info about breakfast, where the facilities were, no offer of help with our luggage). Except for the breakfast, the food is overpriced, the selection is not great, and taste-wise, the food was pretty bland and unmemorable. One night in da Mario, we waited 20 mins to get our leftovers packed, and we ended up just leaving as it seemed the staff had totally forgotten about us. Another night in the Brasserie, the staff seemed very annoyed to serve us - to be fair it was busy that night, but our group felt unwelcome and uncomfortable there. They’ve overpriced a lot of their food and drink; make sure to bring your own water bottles or you’ll be stuck paying 7,90€ for 0,5L water. One night we asked for two liters of water delivered to the room; the bill including service charge and tip was nearly 40€ 😄 The last little treat from their staff came today: due to illness, we needed to late cancel two of our spa reservations. When we canceled, the spa generously offered to let us cancel free of charge. However, after we left, their team emailed us to let us know nevermind, we would have to pay after all.

Die Kommunikation direkt nach der Buchung verlief einwandfrei, die Bestätigung mit allen Details kam schnell per E-Mail. Da ich schon öfter im Hotel war, verlief auch der Check-in zügig, weil die Daten bereits vorhanden waren. Auch mein Zimmerwunsch konnte berücksichtigt werden. Das Hotel punktet mit seiner 1A-Lage an der Promenade. Die gastronomischen Einrichtungen decken eine große Palette ab, vom Café bis zur Broilerbar, die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und serviceorientiert. Im Restaurant ”Dünenfein” wünschte ich mir ab und an ein klein wenig mehr Blick für die Details (z.B., wenn man als Gast noch etwas bestellen möchte) - das war vielleicht etwas dem Stress des Personals geschuldet, war aber schade. Nach einer Delle in der Servicequalität unmittelbar während und nach Corona hatte ich nun den Eindruck, es geht trotz aller Schwierigkeiten (Fachkräftemangel...) wieder aufwärts. Es werden offenbar viele junge Leute ausgebildet - ich wünsche ihnen, dass sie ihren Elan bei der Ausübung des Berufes nicht verlieren. Das Fitness-Center hat sehr moderne Geräte, ich mag auch den Pool. Das Bad im Zimmer schien mir renoviert worden zu sein - was den insgesamt positiven Eindruck verstärkt hat. Ich habe nicht das Gefühl, das Hotel sei ”in die Jahre gekommen”, wie einige Bewertungen vermuten lassen, aber das ist sicher subjektiv. Ich bin jedes Mal gern dort und genieße die Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels. Es ist preislich kein Schnäppchen - aber ich habe meine Wahl für meine Auszeiten in Warnemünde noch nie bereut.

Beaucoup de clinquant pour cet hôtel nouvelle formule. Points positifs parking et petit déjeuner copieux et varié mais mal organisé. Nous n’avons pas attendu mais à notre sortie il y avait une attente terrible. Chambre spacieuse mais salle de bains avec baignoire.... c’est dépassé. Une bouilloire entartrée et aucune tasse pour boire un café. Pas un stylo ni un bloc. Bref pas à la hauteur dans cette catégorie

Les amis auxquels nous sommes allés depuis l'aéroport étaient très pratiques. Ce serait bien si nous prenions un taxi directement. Ensuite, le service de la réception était très sympathique. Nous avons séjourné dans de nombreux hôtels et avons estimé que le rapport qualité-prix de l'hôtel était très élevé. conseillé

I feel a little sad for this property. A former Steigenberger, it opened more than 25 years ago and you still can tell, a lot of money was spend on the interior back than. But that, as mentioned, was more than 25 years ago! The now Vienna House faces a lot of competition by new hotels (Ana, Premier Inn, Motel One) or recently renovated one (pentahotel, Radisson Blu), so they just can't carry on with the 1990's style - it definately needs a makeover. Wooden furniture with dents and water marks everywhere, yellowed lamp shades, stained walls, carpets and ceilings... it's just not state of the art, anymore. Wifi was very unstable and we encountered an hairdryer without a protective grid which was a security hazard. That said: we slept great as our superior room was totally quiet and we really enjoyed the huge breakfast buffet. Staff was overall courteous and we were granted late check-out for no surcharge. The hotel's location is central with several tram lines just a few meters away and only a short walk to the pedestrian zone. Would me return? Yes, we would as the rates do reflect the outdated hotel's interior and the pros still weigh more than the cons.

Nous avons passé un week-end prolongé dans cet hôtel et nous étions enthousiasmés! Le personnel est très orienté vers le client, ami et préventif. Notre chambre était assez grande, équipée et propre. L'intérieur est « le marteau »! Mais il semble élégant et vraiment magnifique. Le mélange de modernes, naturels et de couleurs a été méga réussi. Le programme de bien-être offert nous avons bien sûr également utilisé. Massage et (petite) piscine directement à l'hôtel. L'arrivée a été bonne, l'hôtel est quelque chose situé en dehors de Rostock, mais très bien à atteindre. Notre chambre était équipée d'un lit double, d'un coffre-fort, de salle de bains, de télévision, de tables de nuit, de salle de bains, de bureau, de salle de bains, de toilettes, de four, de miroir, de savon, de gel de douche, de shampooing. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était « le boucher »! suffisamment de choses disponibles et régulièrement réparées. La seule chose qui a manqué à tout un petit goût était le calendrier qui a été attribué, et donc il fallait regarder l'heure. La piscine de l'hôtel est un peu petite, mais suffisante pour un week-end de bien-être. Les massages offerts étaient agréables, mais nous étions habitués à quelque chose d'autre de nos massages nationaux. (En tant que femme, j'aurais préféré une femme plutôt que une masseuse, mais c'est mon « problème » personnel.) Rapport prix-performance: très bien On reviendra sûrement.

Nous étions spontanément pour un séjour là-bas. Beau hôtel, calme. Super gentil personnel, bar très compétent et de bons cocktails. Le repas était excellent. Petit-déjeuner pour tout le monde avec quelque chose. Nous avons mangé sur la terrasse la nuit et le matin, ce qui était très agréable. Les chambres étaient belles, propres et les matraques n'ont pas causé de douleurs dans le dos. La piscine et l'espace de bien-être n'avaient pas été réalisés en un court temps. La proximité de la plage et de la mer Baltique est super bonne à 10 minutes.
