Undiscovered gem of a hotel near San Pedro. Pros: We were looking for a place on the lower end of the price spectrum that was a one night romantic getaway for two, that I could also use my free trip coins at toward the cost of the room. Preferably including breakfast and a swimming pool with jacuzzi 😉 Not much to ask! We booked one of the cheaper rooms on the ground floor. Before check in we took an Uber to San Pedro mall to do some essential shopping and see a movie. Then we checked in and I relaxed in the jacuzzi under the San José night sky while my husband enjoyed a full workout in the gym/weights room. TV with cable was great for my husband who enjoyed the football while I enjoyed the hot shower and relaxed in the bed afterwards. We had an amazingly comfortable sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning of gallo pinto, fresh tropical fruits, freshly squeezed watermelon juice and hot coffee. A generous check out time of 12pm meant we had more than enough time to get our things together and leave when it suited. Cons: Not many cons at this price point and value. The guy at the desk was a bit weird when we asked him for a second glass for water as there was only one in the room but not a big deal. We also had to ask him for the TV remote. The towels were a bit small like a mini dress on me after my shower. But good quality (with a third extra towel for the jacuzzi) and high quality bed linen. It also is in a slightly rough looking neighborhood but this is not a problem if you travel to and from the hotel by Uber or use a hire car (which you can park privately inside the property). Overall impression: The other photos on trip.com and similar booking sites do not do this hotel justice - it looks far better in person. It has real character since it is a restored historic hotel from an era bygone, but that is why everything is such high quality from the bed linen to the floor tiles. Everything is also in good shape and freshly painted. There a little hidden nooks around the hotel that make it very charming. The breakfast area is lovely and the jacuzzi, pool and water slide were a real highlight. We WILL be back.

La chambre est propre et propre, le petit déjeuner est excellent, il y a un menu à choisir, il y a des fruits et cafés, il y a beaucoup de zones publiques pour les excursions collectives. Pas d'élévateurs est un problème.

Hôtel bien placé pour aller ce balader dans l’avenue centrale, proche de tout à pied, un parking payant est proche dans la rue derrière pour votre voiture afin d’être tranquille pour 1000 crc par heure.

My wife and I stayed here a few nights both at the beginning and end of our three-week trip to Costa Rica. The location is attractive as it is very easy to get to the city center, and very near the newly completed ring road which goes all around the city. This is a big plus, since the traffic in San Jose (and Costa Rica in general) can be truly horrendous. We would have liked to have laundry services, which are only available by appointment at certain times and days. Breakfast was simple but good. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful.

Parque del Lago Boutique Hotel is a well-equipped hotel in a great location, making it a convenient base for exploring San José. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms and facilities are well maintained and offer everything needed for a comfortable visit. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast buffet, which was somewhat average and lacked the warmth and character that the rest of the hotel provides. Overall, a pleasant stay with good value and an excellent location.

J'ai séjourné dans un dortoir de quatre chambres, très spacieux, composé de plusieurs maisons d'hôtes et autres hébergements. J'avais accès à la piscine et au restaurant de l'auberge de jeunesse voisine. L'enregistrement s'est fait sans problème, le personnel était accueillant et le café était offert. J'avais choisi cet emplacement car il était central sans être en plein centre-ville. Un excellent pub irlandais se trouve juste au coin de la rue. Le seul point à prendre en compte est la proximité de la voie ferrée. Les trains signalent leur passage, mais aucun n'est passé la nuit, donc tout s'est bien passé.

Das Hostel ist sehr schön und stilvoll eingerichtet und liegt sehr gut zur Innenstadt, sodass sowohl alle großen Museen und das Theater als auch viele Bars, Cafés und Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar sind. Es ist ein Hostel, also kann man keine absolute Ruhe erwarten, aber ich habe das nicht als störend empfunden. Straßenlärm ist zu vernachlässigen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, es ist alles sauber. Mit dem Auto vom Flughafen dauert die Fahrt außerhalb des Berufsverkehrs etwa 40 Minuten.

L'hôtel n'est pas mal, les chambres sont assez grandes et l'assainissement est bon. Il y a un truc à la porte, des supermarchés et plus encore! Le petit déjeuner est moyen, l'environnement du petit déjeuner est bon. Vaut le prochain séjour.

La position est bonne, mais il est regrettable qu'il n'y ait pas de facilité. En outre, la cospa n'est pas bonne et le prix est cher, mais pas si élevé.

El lugar se encuentra ubicado muy céntrico, muchas opciones para elegir. Lo único malo es que no poseen parqueo propio. La atención de los colaboradores muy buena y muy amables. El desayuno excelente muy rico y en abundancia. Los cuartos bastante bien, el aire acondicionado silencioso, agua caliente en los baños, lo único sería colocar vasos en los cuartos para tomar agua.
