well the hotel is very clean, and this is personal experience i got very nice sleep here the location also very close with the city of medan so very comfortable

In die Jahre gekommenes, grundsätzlich schönes Hotel. Leider lässt die Sauberkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig und an Details & Austattung mangelt es. Für Instagram Posts eignet sich die Unterkunft mit ihrem schönen Ausblick allerdings grandios. Lage ist ruhig und ziemlich abgelegen. Service ist sehr lieb und bemüht, obwohl die Kommunikation auf Englisch manchmal etwas holprig war. Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt, allerdings ist der Preis zu hoch.

Booked 2 rooms for 4 guests via trip.com with an additional request for rooms with a connecting door. In the trip.com app, we intentionally correctly filled all the guest details for each rooms. Upon checkin, the hotel’s front desk said they cant accommodate the connecting room request because they say it was booked under different names. Sadly they used this opportunity to argue with us, printing out in front of ourselves with their printer on the front desk: 2 separate reservations under different names (Maybe since we intentionally filled those guest names correctly? But the contact number and email is still the same, no?). From it we briefly saw all details like the 2 different reservations numbers they used as the crucial evidence, and how our booking was routed through ******* (From this detail one could argue the request was lost through the flawed trip.com system. Yet the hotel could’ve investigated and be more proactive after seeing a reservation for one room asking for connecting doors??). I thought hotel guests checking in at night only wanted rest, not attending trial??? Although to be fair in the end they got us 2 connecting rooms, albeit at a low floor (after the unnecessary bargaining). They required Rp200K as deposit. Room was clean, with a very useful Korean brand smart tv. Functional hair dryer, good lighting, with an in-room safe, and a small fridge/chiller. Breakfast could’ve been better, but there’s a lot of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We got valet parking but didn’t pay for it, was it complimentary because of the limited parking space this hotel has, or did we get it as compensation/goodwill, we never knew (this was not explained at check in).

Affordable basic room but clean enough ( some ants though). Location is central within 20min walking radius of major malls ( Plaza Medan Fair/Sun/Cambridge), Damri airport bus ( in front of Plaza Medan Fair), family massage/reflexology outlets (Jl.Orion), and the popular medan cakes outlets eg ”bika ambon” (Zulaikha)/”bolu” (Meranti). Car park is available with security. However, the complimentary breakfast is only set without selection option.

Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit ici avant de prendre le train le lendemain. La chambre était agréable et propre, et le lit confortable, ce qui était parfait pour un court séjour. Cependant, toutes les chambres donnent directement sur le hall principal, ce qui le rend très bruyant tôt le matin. Si vous avez le sommeil léger, cela peut être très gênant. De plus, un gros déshumidificateur dans le couloir produit un bruit constant et désagréable.

Je choisis toujours l'Ibis Pattimura à mon arrivée à Medan, car je prends généralement un vol de nuit depuis Kuala Lumpur. L'accueil et le service en général étaient bons. Cependant, un problème récurrent est le bruit dans le couloir (conversations, enfants qui courent). L'insonorisation est insuffisante et cela m'a empêché de dormir. J'espère que la direction prendra des mesures à ce sujet ou que le personnel de sécurité ou d'entretien effectuera des rondes régulières pour éviter ces nuisances sonores provenant des chambres voisines ou du couloir. La chambre était convenable pour un hôtel 3 étoiles à Siantar. L'établissement dispose d'une piscine et d'un café. La chambre était spacieuse. Un savon était fourni à la place du gel douche. Le service était correct.

Nous sommes arrivés après 15h30 mais nous n'avons réussi à vérifier que dans environ 17h, ce qui était très décevant après un long voyage. Avec un tel climat naturel, une meilleure garde de la plage améliorerait considérablement l'expérience des clients. Les chambres sont très confortables et sont très confortables. I recently stayed at the Samosir Cottage on Samosir Island from November 29 to December 1, 2024. The room was spacious, a significant plus. However, the toilet area required attention, with ants present, as mentioned in previous reviews. While this was acceptable for me, it's an area for improvement. What truly impressed me was the exceptional service from the receptionist. They clearly explained options and kindly upgraded us to a bigger room. Their helpfulness and professionalism made a significant difference in our stay. We booked two deluxe rooms, but the first room had a smoke smell, prompting us to request a change or upgrade. Overall, while there's room for improvement in bathroom maintenance and mattress covers, the Samosir Cottage's spacious rooms and excellent service make it a solid choice for those visiting Samosir Island. Pariban hotel was a very nice place to stay near Berastagi. The surrounding area is beautiful at the base of Mt Sibayak. There are numerous hot springs nearby but Pariban also has a private hot spring pool for guests which is great. The amenities were okay, however we had to ask for a bathmat and toilet paper. Also the toilet cistern was leaking. Overall, we would definitely stay here again however just be aware it is quite a way from the town of Berastagi and not ideal if you are wanting to do a sunrise hike of Mt Sibayak. It's important to know that since it is quite far from Berastagi itself, if you book a private driver you may be charged extra to get here.
