Hôtels 3 étoiles à Quintana Roo, Mexique

The strength of this hotel is the great built-in spa within the hotel property! Stay here if you want to enjoy a beautiful spa experience only steps away from your hotel room. Don’t stay here is you expect to be close to downtown. It’s at least a twenty minute walk to downtown, including if you just need a quick drink from a convenience store, and having to take a taxi each time quickly adds up! Don’t even think about walking to and from the hotel after sunset as the mosquitoes will eat you very quickly (you won’t even make it half way). Hence, I sort of wished I picked any hotel closer to downtown as I believe their premium is worth it just on this fact alone. Don’t stay here if you want variety with the included breakfast. The complimentary breakfast will have you searching for the rooftop entrance across the street, climb the stairs to be presented three preset breakfast options; omelette or scrambled eggs with either cheese or ham or pancakes. Granted, a bit of fruits and yogurt is included along with the eggs, but it’s pretty basic. Though I’m not complaining when you get to have freshly prepared breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the Holbox white beach! Just don’t expect much nor to have a variety of options. But it will get the job done! Breakfast was 8:30-10:30am and we hung around past that to enjoy coffee on the rooftop WIFI. Don’t stay here if you are expecting a good pool experience. The two small pools on the property aren’t running all the time so it doesn’t look appealing to get into. Don’t stay here if you are expecting a view from your hotel room. You won’t see any bit of the ocean - just the hotels in front and behind this hotel. We upgraded from the Double Room to the King suite and really glad we did because we got a nice balcony and comfortable bed with plenty of different pillow options. We also looked into upgrading to the King suite with bathtub option but glad we didn’t opt for it as the bathtub didn’t look appealing and just took up all the living room space. We wish the rooms were a bit more spacious, with perhaps some living room furniture, otherwise you just get a basic bed with nightstands, TV with basic cable and basic bathroom. The water pressure was good and quickly warmed up. The room AC was great and didn’t need to be run long. The issue mainly was the poor insulating as we heard out downstairs neighbours and likely would have heard whoever was across from us if there was anyone. There was no safe or iron in the room unfortunately. If beach clubs are your thing, there are three decent options very close by. We checked out “HAU” beach club directly across from this hotel. This beach club didn’t have a minimum, had a generous happy hour (4-7pm), but unfortunately we got diarrhea after their mojitos. Although they were delicious mojitos so it’s hard to regret it. I primarily booked this place to get a great spa experience and they exceeded my expectations. Thus, based on this experience, this hotel deserves nothing less than five stars. I also can’t forget to mention the hotel staff were incredibly helpful during our stay. Shoutout to all the concierges and especially including Mateo, Almira and Marianna in the reservations department!

I found this property Ujo have good reviews on Trip.con and wanted to give it a try. I preferred apartment style stays cos the convenience of having a kitchen allows flexibility for diet-restricted people. The place looked modern and clean. Pretty spacious and functional. Has a balcony with a (not so grande, lol) view of the neighborhood. It was so hot outside even in November, like a sauna, so we didn’t spend anytime on the balcony and kept windows and doors shut to prevent heat and bugs. The AC and two ceiling fans in our room helped greatly for temperature control, making our stay comfortable. Note: the AC only works when you use the key card in the room — inserting it in the power slot and then AC can be turned on. Without a note about it, I thought the AC was not working. But glad the lady there helped to call and figure it out. Simple as that. The bathroom is interesting. It’s mostly good, got a ceiling shower and worked well. They provided organic wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The only part that didn’t make too much sense is the short half wall that is functioning as a divider between the shower part and the dry part of the bathroom. Water would easily splash out — it felt like it was designed for shorter users and didn’t account for a lot of tourists that are tall. Perhaps add a good old shower curtain? Mostly for the property’s own benefit of not getting the floor wet where it shouldn’t be. I sent a request when I booked the room for the hosts to spray bug sprays in the room prior to my arrival. They quickly acknowledged that after my booking and did that before I checked in. Much appreciation. When we checked out, we left our luggage to the host for a few hours. They are very helpful to put them away.  Also this place has bike rentals on site for a good price compared to what we saw outside of the property.  Finally, let’s talk about the overall area. We chose it also because it’s close location to ADO bus station as we came from Cancun via bus. We don’t have any interest in the crazy taxi prices and want to walk as much as we can. So this walkable property (less than 10minutes from Tulum ADO bus station) worked. I also chose it because it’s not on the Main Street where I looked at a lot of properties and found noise complaints. I cannot handle noise past 10pm. I need my rest. So overall, Ujo was quiet in itself, no really close-by clubs, no rooftop parties, and other visitors seemed respectful and not loud after 10pm. BUT, here is the reality, this is a town with many stray animals. And they sleep during the heated day time, and get active at night. So there were barking and meowing for sure that can pierce thru. As well as some traffic sound and remote club noises. Don’t expect 100% tranquility. I am fairly picky about noise but I would say given the town’s reality, this is a very decent spot. I was able to sleep thru the nights without much issue.  Overall the stay met the score it had on Trip.com (9.6/10) when I was booking. If I visit Tulum again, or if someone asked for a recommendation, I would stay/recommend this place.

L'hôtel avait une super ambiance et une excellente insonorisation. Tous les repas étaient bons, la formule tout compris était incluse, le café était délicieux et j'ai adoré le Coca. Le personnel était également très sympathique. Ils m'ont surclassé d'une suite à une chambre à une suite à deux chambres, où j'ai pu admirer un magnifique coucher et lever de soleil. La mer était d'un bleu incroyable. C'était une expérience inoubliable ! Hahaha, c'est dingue !

Very average rooms with no kettle. Clean enough and the house keeping ladies are always lovely and attentive The whole hotel Needs refurbishing, beach day beds material old and worn with material falling off. Pool towels are nice and thick and fluffy. Expensive restaurant and always several items not available from menu. Bar near reception has happy hour 6.30-7.30 nightly. 2 for one drinks. Convenience store located directly opposite for snacks and street style Mexican food and tea & coffee. Pool is the highlight of this resort.

Cet hôtel est situé en centre-ville, juste en face d'un supermarché. Bien qu'un peu excentré par rapport aux hôtels plus chics, il est très pratique pour se rendre à Islam Mujeres. Son prix est abordable et il convient parfaitement aux longs séjours. Malheureusement, la douche de ma chambre ne fournissait que de l'eau froide, ce qui était très gênant. Vous pourriez avoir la même malchance.

Quel bel hôtel ! J'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour ☺️. Le personnel et les installations étaient formidables !

We’re room 620 with beach club access the location of the hotel is perfect it’s close to everything you need, mall, restaurant, hospital, money changer and a lot more! You should the beach club access u won’t regret! And ladies at the reception are very helpful and very nice they can answer everything u need to know! I love my stay at Krystal Urban Carlos and Itzel are super nice! And the breakfast is superb!

La climatisation de la première chambre ne fonctionnait pas bien, mais j'ai demandé au bagagiste et on m'a changé de chambre. Le hall était très propre et moderne, mais la chambre était différente. Il n'y avait pas de bouilloire, donc impossible de faire du café. La chambre était convenable pour dormir. L'emplacement était idéal et le rapport qualité-prix bon.

Les chambres sont très confortables et sont très confortables. Le restaurant, les serveurs et les serveurs étaient aussi cordiaux et assuraient que tout ce qui était nécessaire pour une expérience fantastique était fourni. Le personnel de bureau a organisé le transport plusieurs fois - c'était le moment et les conducteurs étaient cordiaux. Mon fils et moi-même remercions le personnel de All Rithmo pour une belle vacance. Earl

L'hôtel était un peu éloigné de la gare routière d'Auckland, mais pas suffisamment pour prendre un taxi ; il ne m'a fallu que 10 minutes à pied avec ma valise, mais certains pourraient trouver cela trop loin. Il n'y avait aucune instruction pour utiliser le coffre-fort de la chambre. J'ai donc appelé le personnel d'entretien, mais il ne parlait pas anglais. J'ai donc dû utiliser une application de traduction. Il n'a toujours pas compris et est revenu deux fois. J'étais contente qu'il se déplace, mais ce n'était pas une visite unique, ce qui pourrait agacer certaines personnes. Le plus décevant, c'est que lorsque je suis arrivée, m'attendant à un petit-déjeuner à 6 pesos, on m'a annoncé un prix de 150 pesos. Le prix a peut-être augmenté, ou il s'agissait peut-être d'une erreur et le prix était de 6 dollars, mais je me suis fiée aux informations que j'avais notées et utilisées, et le prix était complètement différent. J'ai donc eu l'impression d'avoir été trompée et arnaquée. J'espère que ce problème sera rapidement résolu.
