As someone sensitive to high altitude, their **nasal oxygen supply** was a *literal lifesaver*, helping me adjust comfortably. The **morning breakfast** was a delightful experience, with fresh ******* bread, warm tea, and eggs served with a **panoramic mountain view** that made every meal unforgettable. The hostel even **customized my food** to accommodate dietary preferences—a rare and thoughtful touch! I was especially grateful for their **willingness to fulfill special requests**. When I asked for a room with the famous **”Potato Field View”** (a charming landscape of terraced fields), they happily arranged it without hesitation. The room was clean, cozy, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the scenery. What truly stood out was their **dedication to foreign guests**—whether explaining local customs, helping with travel plans, or simply sharing stories over tea. L'environnement général de l'hôtel est super, très beau ! Ma chambre était située dans un couloir où il n'y avait absolument pas de soleil, et les rideaux offraient peu d'intimité ; on pouvait voir vaguement à l'intérieur. J'ai perdu ma carte de chambre en allant prendre des photos en costume tibétain et j'ai dû payer 50 yuans pour la remplacer 🥲 Apport d'oxygène 24h/24 : Autant dire qu'il n'y en a pas, le débit est très faible. Mon ami a même dû aller à l'hôpital pour en avoir (j'ai séjourné dans plusieurs établissements et c'est ici que l'apport d'oxygène est le plus faible). Expérience de costume tibétain : Seul le costume Bora est gratuit. Pour le maquillage et la coiffure, il faut ajouter 100 yuans. Les meilleures tenues sont également payantes. Dix photos brutes sont incluses. Je recommande la tenue bleue. Il y avait beaucoup d'activités pendant le Nouvel An chinois.

L'hôtel Chunjiang est riche en oxygène, dispose de 22 heures pour l'oxygène gratuit. Il est disponible en plein air pour l'oxygène et l'oxygène absorbé. Il est situé entre la rue de 8th et le palais de Budala, et il est pratique d'entrer. Le petit déjeuner est riche. Le personnel a aidé à déménager les bagages à la porte de l'hôtel. Il est possible d'atteindre immédiatement à 11 heures du matin. Deux chambres sont grandes, il y a de l'air chaud et de la chaleur, l'eau potable peut être utilisée à tout moment, il y a un lave-linge et une gestion de la maison de garde-frontières. Il y a des fruits à l'intérieur de la chambre à l'après-midi, donc il est possible de rentrer à Lhasa pour rester 2 nu

”L'hôtel est dans un excellent emplacement. Il est à côté de la place du temple de Jokhang. C'était notre premier séjour. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Xiao Ga et Xiao Lu à la réception. Nous avons été surclassés dans une chambre avec des fruits de bienvenue. Il y a un restaurant avec vue sur le toit, où vous pourrez profiter de la vue sur le Potala, sur le palais et le temple de Jokhang ! Une expérience de séjour très satisfaisante !

The hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel. The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage. The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app. There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.

I have mixed feelings of this hotel. Maybe my own fault but I thought this hotel was associated with the more famous Intercontinental hotel brand. I felt a bit disappointed when I realised it wasn’t. The hotel was right at the foot of Mount Kailash which was the purpose of our trip however was disappointed as the hotel doesn’t have a great view of Kailash. I want to give positive comments as the hotel had a lot going for it, such as full body massage chair in the room, smart voice controls for the room but we didn’t use any of these. The cleanliness of the room was also lacking and the shower facilities was not as good as some other hotels we’ve experienced on our Tibet trip. We had a second a second night booked at this hotel but we decided to cancel and go somewhere else. Sorry but I can’t recommend this hotel.

Ce séjour a été une agréable surprise ! L'hôtel est idéalement situé, avec une station de métro juste à côté, ce qui le rend très pratique pour faire du shopping et se restaurer. La réceptionniste était très souriante, a pris les clés rapidement et m'a recommandé des restaurants de spécialités à proximité. Merci beaucoup, directeur Xiaoyang. La chambre était propre et bien rangée, la literie était douce et confortable, et je n'avais pas envie de me lever une fois allongé. La salle de bain était bien séparée en deux parties, l'une sèche et l'autre humide, avec de l'eau chaude à profusion et une température stable. Le plus surprenant était le petit canapé près de la fenêtre. On pouvait s'y préparer une tasse de thé confortablement et admirer le paysage nocturne. Le petit-déjeuner était varié, à la fois chinois et occidental, avec des ingrédients frais et savoureux, et une multitude de détails. Super rapport qualité-prix, j'y retournerai lors de mon prochain séjour et je l'ai recommandé à mes amis !

As a state-owned hotel in Lhasa, this property’s main advantage is its proximity to Norbulingka, though it is relatively far from most other major attractions in the city. The reception staff were not particularly welcoming, which made the overall service feel somewhat impersonal. The hotel building itself is set back quite a distance from the roadside entrance, resulting in a quieter atmosphere. This, combined with the surrounding garden, does create a reasonably tranquil environment—one of the few positive aspects of the stay. The included breakfast was acceptable but unremarkable, and the room view was similarly average, without anything particularly memorable.
