The first thing I'll write about Richmond Hotel Premier Sendai Ekimae is the good location. It's right next to Aobadori Station, but there is only a stairway down. An elevator is located not too far away, and I'll get to that in the last part of this review. The lobby of the hotel has a nice ambience, and the hotel offers one complimentary drink and a complimentary bowl of soba noodles. Since the majority of hotel guests take advantage of these offers, the lobby and bar can be crowded during both day and night (until 22:00). The staff whom I interacted with, especially the young lady upon check-in, were all very friendly and helpful. Water coolers are available on each floor next to the elevators, so if it's late at night and you're out of water, you don't have to go far. This is a good service by the hotel. I really like the fact that from the ground level, you can take the elevator directly up to your room floor, bypassing the usually busy and crowded lobby. When it comes to sound insulation between rooms, unfortunately this was not too good. I was able to hear my neighbours banging their limbs, suitcases, clothes hangers etc. against the walls. I didn't really hear talking, but that's probably because my neighbours were Japanese and talked to each other in low tones (non-Japanese people should emulate this). As for noise from the streets, my room faced another building (which was what I requested), so I didn't hear much traffic noise. The shower temperature in my first room fluctuated badly. It would be hot for about 30 seconds, then it turned cold for a minute, then hot again for 15 seconds, then cold again for a long time. The hotel staff helped me switch to a different room, and the shower temperature in the second room was fine. The furniture in the rooms are a bit old, but that's not a big issue. The fridges on the other hand are too small and not cold, the hotel should purchase larger and better units. A nitpick of mine is having to use the television to choose the 'Do Not Disturb' sign for the cleaners. I'd much rather a switch next to the door, or the traditional sign to hang on the doorknob. I did not have breakfast at the hotel nor did I use any of the facilities, so I have no comment on those services. Overall, I had a good stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others. I hope that in the future the sound insulation between rooms can be vastly improved, and that the hotel can provide physical 'Do Not Disturb' signs or switches. Side note: If you have large luggage and need an elevator, you have to walk south just a little along Atagokamisugi-dori, and soon you'll see an elevator to the underground station. When you get into this elevator, get to the lowest level, and when walking to Sendai station via the underground passage, there is another elevator in an oddly-angled corner. There are nice staff and wonderful equipment in this hotel. It’s my first time to stay here for three nights. A room offers comfortable twin beds. Soft and supportive mattress, clean bedding let me sleep comfortably. Considerate staff actives to offer services to me when it rains outside. All in all, hotel Keihan impressed me deeply, and I will come back undoubtedly!

L'hôtel est très confortable et vous propose un hôtel de qualité supérieure. Frein, chaudière à eau, pyjamas, notepad et stylo, montre d'alarme (oui, casio analogique), convertisseur USB C-A parce que le lit a toujours un socket USB A, des formes de taubin (livrement de bagages), presse de pantalon, brosse de chaussures, etc. Je pense que leur mot n'attend pas jusqu'à ce que l'invité le demande, veillez à ce qu'il soit disponible. Ils ont vraiment tout prévu. Starbucks et 711 au 1er étage. J'ai voulu essayer le restaurant au 13e étage, mais parce que je n'avais pas de réservation, et il y avait déjà beaucoup de gens là-bas, malheureusement ils m'ont détourné.

La réception à 17 h était efficace et je n'ai pas dû attendre. Le Wifi a bien fonctionné et la climatisation était bonne, surtout dans le temps froid. Les chambres ne sont pas grandes mais suffisantes. J'ai réservé une chambre plus grande dont quelques-uns. La chambre est très bien gardée, mais les clients doivent demander des services quotidiens en plaçant une carte sur la porte de la chambre, sinon le service quotidien n'est pas fourni. L'hôtel est situé à environ 15 minutes à pied de la gare principale Shinkansen. Il y a de grandes boutiques dans la zone centrale de la gare. Il y a aussi de nombreux restaurants à proximité qui devraient correspondre au budget et au type de nourriture de la plupart des gens. Les bus et les stations de métro sont à proximité et offrent accès à différentes parties de la ville. En général, un séjour agréable et heureux de revoir.

Le restaurant est très confortable. L'hôtel est proche de la gare Sendai et il y a plusieurs parkings à proximité. Il était également très pratique d'avoir une FamilyMart près du lobby sur le sol. La zone de lave-linge est très petite et aurait été plus agréable si il y avait plus de machines disponibles. La sèche-linge n'était malheureusement pas très efficace. Le service était grand et l'hôtel était très propre. Les chambres étaient de bonne taille. Retourneraient.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, our room was a good size and it was so quiet at all times - no noise from neighbours or from the street. Really clean, TV with YouTube and Netflix was so good and the wifi worked seamlessly. Would thoroughly recommend and would happily stay again.

J'ai passé deux nuits à l'hôtel, du 16 au 18 avril. L'hôtel se trouve à environ 400 mètres de la gare de Sendai. Dès mon arrivée, j'ai entendu une belle musique. À mon arrivée, j'ai entendu une douce flûte, jouée par de vraies personnes ! L'hôtel est propre et dispose d'une grande salle de bain très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner est unique, et un magnifique artiste de flûte est à l'honneur, un véritable spectacle émouvant. Le magnifique parc Ryuoka se trouve à proximité. C'est un hôtel que je recommande vivement pour un séjour à Sendai et qui mérite d'être réitéré.

Our 8-day stay at Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East was exceptional from start to finish. We booked a Superior Double room, and it felt surprisingly spacious and comfortable—especially for an extended stay. If I had to sum up this hotel in one word, it would be convenience. Its location directly within Sendai Station makes getting around effortless. Trains, buses, and a wide variety of dining options are all just steps away, which made exploring the area incredibly easy. The breakfast selection was generous and satisfying, offering plenty of options to start the day well. What truly stood out, however, was the customer service—consistently attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. We would absolutely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sendai.

I really enjoyed my stay here.It is conveniently located nearl Sendai Station.The public bath was perfect for relaxation and the breakfast was tasty and the staff were very friendly and helpful. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, comfortable and had a wonderful stayed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to solo travelers.

Both the room and the onsen is very clean. Big TV. There’s a parking space but it could easily be full so if you use a car you might have to park somewhere else.
