Hôtels 4 étoiles prisés à Hévíz

I came here to treat my bad back in the thermal waters which hotel has in its own pools in the basement. In addition you can see the doctor who will examine you and prescribe treatment plan for which they give you package price. Therefore in this sense I have fulfilled purpose of my visit. However all facilities need modernisation. It is privatised communist block. Whoever bought it from the state - maintains it but does not update it much. We have stayed in a suite on the 4th floor - room remembers 1980s. It is functional, practical and clean but this standard absolutely does not justify 300 Euros per night! Pictures on the booking website are heavily photoshopped. I pay that much for a suite in a French Rivera and not in the town 200 km from Budapest! Fair enough - half board was included but food was blunt cantine style. Desert options were stand out - there was large selection of mini cakes. Overall I did enjoy my stay and everyone works really hard there to run it smoothly but I felt I have overpaid for the quality of accomodation. If you are after treatments - don’t include Sunday in your stay as therapists do not work that day. You can only use thermal pools - one quite warm, another very warm. Pool area is very busy on Saturday afternoon so I will avoid weekend next time. The best time is to come before breakfast. They have sauna - very good, steam room - unless you stand in front of the steamer you won’t feel anything. Please rethink the prices or invest in a modernisation for us to be returning.

Das Foyer des Hotels ist beeindruckend und besonders um die Weihnachtszeit mit dem großen Christbaum sehr schön gestaltet. Der Wellnessbereich ist gepflegt, aber leider ziemlich klein. Das Frühstücksbuffet war diesmal die große Enttäuschung, da die Qualität der angebotenen Speisen weit unter dem Niveau ähnlicher Hotels in Österreich lag. Mein Zimmer im 6. Stock war groß, aber etwas karg ausgestattet.

Nous avons passé notre déjeuner ici. Le repas était délicieux, le personnel était ami de tous les gardiens jusqu'au HK. L'hôtel est vraiment propre, il a une belle atmosphère et il est proche du centre-ville. Nous pourrions même apporter notre chien avec nous. Le lit est très confortable. Nous recommandons le massage couple aussi. Tout était parfait! Nous avons vraiment aimé notre séjour, Merci!

The recent heat wave (August 2023) was hard to bear so we booked a fully air conditioned hotel with a pool to escape the heat for a few days. We are very well travelled and no strangers to hotels but this hotel is absolutely wonderful. It would take ages to point out all the small details that they get absolutely right and to explain that the management clearly know their business. It is rare to find such service and we shall return. The setting and the architecture are just amazing. The trees, the flowers, the marble finishes and the superb spa facilities. Everything is spotlessly clean and everything works flawlessly. Great staff in all departments and then there is the food . . . . It will take ages to diet off the extra kilos after so much top quality lamb, venison, smoked salmon, beef, pork, chicken – all presented with perfection. What a superb high standard. The buffet is just out of this world. The porter brought our luggage in from the car and returned it to the car when we left . . . now it's a long time since that happened. They say that “Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten” so just get booked and pay the bill with a smile as it is worth every Euro and actually not really expensive at all. You will never regret it.

Nous avons exactement ce que nous avons demandé et c'est une déception: dans les hôtels d'Ensana, nous avons toujours une chambre améliorée ou une surprise. Pas maintenant. Le lieu est trop grand, pas un peu personnel, des gardiens et d'autres personnels ont travaillé comme des robots, personne ne nous a jamais parlé. Le restaurant a pris les plaques et les cutters sans nous en parler, sans nous en donner un autre. Le plus grand problème est qu'il n'y a pas de place pour mettre & sècher vos vêtements humides, donc ils sont humides le lendemain. Petit-déjeuner et dîner étaient excellents, le déjeuner était moyen. Bon point: les deux tables de jeu électroniques. Il y a une petite salle de jeux pour les enfants, mais notre petit n'a pas aimé, car elle était trop petite et intéressante. Il y a beaucoup de toilettes pour les bébés. C'est dommage qu'ils ne vous donnent pas dîner le jour de l'arrivée & checkout. Et l'opportunité de prendre un bain est également annulée le jour de checkout. Alors nous avons eu un bon moment, mais nous avons toujours été déçus. Sensations mixtes.

This is a great hotel. My room was really comfortable, nice comfy bed. I appreciated the empty fridge for my water, variety of glasses provided. Kettle and coffee machine provided. I was extremely impressed with the buffet breakfast and evening meal, both included in my half-board. Totally delicious, massive variety, every meal delicious. Outdoor pools very clean and well cared for. Thermal pool inside and outside. I would definitely go back to this hotel. You can easily walk to the thermal lake from the hotel. The hotel kindly lent us woggles without charge. I loved the lake and would love to return there. We paid for a three hour session, a very memorable experience. I had two massages at the hotel, they were great. I would really like to go back to this location and if I did would definitely return to this hotel.
