Hôtels 3 étoiles à Gangwon, Corée du Sud

The place is good, 7 minutes to ski and has a supermarket and eatery place nearby. Honestly the room is nice, with cooking facilities but the owner was not friendly at all. The toilet was stuck and leak they came with only the plunger and ask us settle ourself. Is winter and we came with kids, the kids built a snowman and they destroyed the snowman after we went for ski trip. We are a group of 10 and we wanted to cook our dinner. There is a small hut with table and chair and BBQ facilities, we ask to BBQ facilities (We are willing to pay, 10,000 won as stated) but she said is winter so we can’t use the BBQ pit, ended up we use the stove to cook up the meat. The husband and wife came in to the huts and told us we can’t do BBQ but we explained to her we just cook the meat and we didn’t do any BBQ. We left the place with cleaner than we came in. I have to WhatsApp her and show her the place is cleaned. The warn us that we must left the place by 1am but in fact all of us finished eh 9.30pm every day since we are tired from Ski. During the last day, they came to us and I was thinking they come and say goodbye but they just make sure we throw every single piece of rubbish outside the house. My husband wear shoe and just step to take our luggage and the owner insist us to take out the shoe before we went in to the house. Although we have explained, we just step in and take the luggage and go, he insisted us to take out the shoes. I have been travelling all around the world and we do understand every cultural is different but as the operator of tourist industry, the owner has to be service minded. If you can’t accept any international travellers then please do not list your place in any platform or put up a notice that international tourist is not permitted to stay there and we won’t book accordingly. Is such a shame to see this happened to us after our 5th trip to Korea and our 3rd trip to Pyeongchang for ski.

Les installations étaient d'une propreté impeccable. La décoration et les équipements étaient luxueux. J'aurais voulu enlever le pommeau de douche ! C'était tout simplement génial ! Et surtout, la vue sur l'océan depuis le logement était à couper le souffle ! J'ai même pu admirer le lever du soleil confortablement installée sur la terrasse. La vue depuis le toit-terrasse était également magnifique. Le petit-déjeuner était sain et le soin apporté aux détails était évident. Je recommande vivement cet endroit ! J'y ai passé un excellent séjour. ^^

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Brown Dot Cheorwon Dong and would gladly return in the future. From the moment I arrived, the property gave off a clean, modern, and well cared for impression. The lobby was tidy and inviting, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and comfortable. My room was spacious enough to relax in after a long day, and it was equipped with all the essentials I needed for a convenient stay. The bed was especially comfortable, the linens were fresh, and the room remained quiet throughout the night, which made it easy to rest well. The staff also made a strong positive impression. Every team member I encountered was polite, friendly, and ready to help with any questions or requests. Check-in was quick and efficient, and check-out was just as smooth, which made the entire experience feel effortless. It is always nice when a hotel combines good service with a stress-free process. Another highlight was the location. The hotel is conveniently situated near restaurants, convenience stores, and several local points of interest, making it easy to get around without much trouble. Whether I was heading out for a meal or returning after sightseeing, the location worked very well as a base for my trip. Overall, Hotel Brown Dot Cheorwon Dong offers excellent value for money. It provides clean accommodations, comfortable rooms, and dependable service in a convenient setting. I would recommend it to both business and leisure travelers who want a peaceful, practical, and enjoyable place to stay. I especially appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi, the easy parking, and the sense of security throughout the property. Small details like these made the stay even more comfortable and convenient, and they added to the overall impression that this hotel is thoughtfully managed and consistently guest focused throughout.

Il est situé en plein centre-ville, son prix est abordable et j'ai été extrêmement satisfait de tout, y compris des équipements et de la propreté. Si je retourne à Jeongseon, je reviendrai sans hésiter dans cet hôtel. Merci.

Les installations étaient très propres et confortables car il y avait de nombreux Hanaro Mart, Barbang Bakery, Starbucks, boutiques de confort, baguettes de Paris et restaurants autour de l'auberge. Le petit déjeuner est servi en style coréen, mais il est un service très confortable pour ceux qui veulent régler le petit déjeuner facilement. Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre à deux étages, mais le plafond est ouvert, vous pouvez voir le ciel, et il y a une grande télévision 100-inch sur le premier étage, donc il semble être une expérience plus spéciale pour les jeunes amateurs et les familles avec enfants.

Il est récent, donc propre. Grand, avec réfrigérateur et congélateur séparés. Lave-linge à tambour. Il manque de la lessive, mais c'était super. Le lit, la couverture et l'oreiller sont très doux et moelleux. Il y a beaucoup de bons restaurants à proximité, et la plage est toute proche, donc tout était accessible à pied. Inconvénients : J'étais dans le bâtiment A, mais c'était un peu gênant car je voyais le bâtiment B et la terrasse à proximité. Il n'y avait que quatre petites serviettes et deux bouteilles d'eau.

The Orchid Hotel was everything and more as described on their website and the reviews. I stayed in the superior room with 1 king bed which was very comfortable. The air conditioner is adjustable to your preference. The hotel was very clean, spacious, very friendly staff (24hr lobby staff)and in the perfect location. They provided robes, slippers, 2 bottled waters, clean towels daily. The bathroom has a bidet which is separate from the shower area. They also have a pot to heat water instantly and they provide coffee and camomile tea bags. There was a large desk area in this room and a large television. The location is right across the street from a large shopping mall that also has restaurants and walking distance to Musil (restaurants, cinema, shopping). They do have a pool and has pizza and beer every evening at rooftop bar. All your needs are very close to this hotel. The bus terminal is ~6 minutes walking distance and train is ~ 10 minute taxi ride. Approximately 2 miles is the outdoor market (food/shopping). Considerations: make sure to bring international chargers, translate app and if get Wow pass can top up with cash at 7/11 or CU. I did make several attempts to top up on Wow pass app with credit card and was having difficulty. The bus terminal and taxi’s accept international visa credit card. The bus terminal does not accept T card. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks to the staff and cleanliness.

Le plus beau endroit que j'ai jamais eu ! Tout a été pensé au plus petit détail, confortable et moderne, très propre, confortable et beau ! La hôtesse est étonnante, attentive et gentille. La chambre est assez grande et spacieuse, elle n'est pas stuffée, mais en outre, il est possible de tourner le climatiseur ou d'ouvrir les portes à la terrasse sans crainte de moustiques volant, parce qu'il y a des réseaux installés. La raffinement dans la chambre est un problème critique pour moi. Et ici il est parfaitement résolu. Et la madrague et le linge sont absolument incroyables. Je ne sais pas ce que c'est, mais c'était parfait: pas trop doux et pas trop dur, tout semblait s'adapter à vous, et ce matin, vous ne vouliez pas sortir du lit. Et quelle merveilleuse salle de bains, et le raccord de vapeur ... Je pourrais aller et faire une liste des avantages de ce lieu. Mais ici, nous voulions juste être dans la chambre! Parce qu'il est si gentil et merveilleux, parce qu'il est calme et pacifique. Malheureusement, notre temps en ville était limité; il y avait tellement à voir et à faire, mais nous sommes retournés à l'hôtel chaque soir avec joie. C'était une expérience indécrite ; nous sommes absolument heureux ! Je le recommande très fortement ! Et je reviendrais heureusement ici. Merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalité !

L'hôtel est situé à trois rues de la station de KTX, soit à moins de 10 minutes à pied avec des bagages lourds. Le marché de Jungang et les quartiers commerçants sont à 20 minutes à pied. De nombreux arrêts de bus se trouvent à proximité. Une supérette est au coin de la rue. Les deux réceptionnistes que j'ai rencontrés pendant mon séjour étaient extrêmement sympathiques et serviables, même s'ils ne parlaient pas beaucoup anglais. Je me suis sentie très bien accueillie. La chambre standard était parfaite pour une personne voyageant seule, mais peut-être un peu petite pour un couple. Tout était propre et bien entretenu. Un sèche-cheveux et un lisseur étaient fournis. La pression de l'eau de la douche était bonne et il y avait un bidet électrique. Le lit était confortable, les rues étaient calmes la nuit et j'ai très bien dormi tout au long de mon séjour. La femme de ménage était charmante et m'a expliqué comment utiliser la climatisation. Seule la télévision était difficile à utiliser car tout était en coréen (mais il devrait être possible de se connecter à Netflix). L'hôtel propose des ordinateurs et des lave-linge séchants avec lessive fournie dans le hall, ainsi qu'un salon approvisionné en nouilles instantanées, pain, etc. Tout cela est gratuit pour les clients de l'hôtel : un vrai plus ! Juste en face de l'hôtel se trouve un restaurant de soupe de pommes de terre ; c'était le meilleur repas que j'aie mangé à Gangneung ! J'ai vraiment envie d'y retourner et je le recommande à tous ceux qui se rendent à Gangneung.

Super nice sea view , room look exactly like the photo . Room with simple cooking equipment that u can cook ramen or little snack . Dryer , towel all those basic things are provided. But 2 things u have to take notes , this homestay type of property doest not have reception or person incharge at the area , even during check in , so make sure u contact with trip.com to get the check in information before u reach there , or else if u can speak korean or u will need to at-least have a number that can call Korean number to contact property management when u arrive and tell them u need check in , i think simple English like “check in “ they can understand. If u don’t have any number that can call or did not contact trip earlier on to get the information, u will be there and wait and u can’t check in smoothly for sure . Secondly this location is far from the city area (like ktx/ bus express terminal and anmok beach ) this location is only near to sundubu gelato by foot about 20min. My suggestion is if u wanna stay here , prepare food and drink and stay whole day just in room to enjoy the view of sea and nice room if u did not driving . Basically for the view and nice room , I will come back again .
