Nicely decorated with care and attention especially heated towel rails. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Ample free public parking directly opposite the Guesthouse. No fuss easy check-in/check-out with clear instructions e-mailed a day before the stay date.

Gorgeous old family estate turned Hotel/Guest House. Spacious and comfortable room. Perfect location to come back to after driving around exploring the Scottish Boarders. Breakfast service was lacking in its service. Young and inexperienced staff spent too much time standing around doing nothing instead of ensuring the buffet was stocked, used dishes cleared off tables, or even tables set for guests.

The Coach House is in a quiet secluded location between Chirnside and Allanton. It's extremely peaceful and a great place to relax and unwind. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you need for your stay. Liz is very helpful and was available to answer any questions. It's a perfect place to stay for the Jim Clark Rally and I highly recommend it!

Lovely room, brilliant location, staff were friendly and welcoming. Place to store bikes and sunny outdoor space. Only minor flaw was not being able to order my favourite cocktail from the bar (despite it being stocked with all the ingredients to make it). Will definitely be back.

Location good Big space Facility less Less clean
